Abstract: A shock absorbing device may include a first stem having an inner surface extending along a longitudinal axis, and a second stem configured to receive a portion of the first stem. The shock absorbing device may also include a guide member having an outer surface configured to prevent the first stem from rotating relative to the guide member. The shock absorbing device may further include a shock absorbing structure disposed between the first stem and the second stem. The shock absorbing device may further include a bearing device configured to rotatably guide movement of the first stem relative to the second stem along a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the first stem and prevent radial sway between the first and second stems.
Abstract: A positioning assist device for drilling multiple dental implant holes is disclosed, which includes a main arm unit and an extension arm unit. The main arm unit has an arm body with two opposing ends, in which a reference shaft is pivoted on a first end, and an extension arm unit is pivoted on a second end via a connecting shaft. A drill-guiding portion having a drill-guiding hole is disposed on an external end portion of the second connecting head. The reference shaft is inserted into a first dental implant hole through an axis hole of the first end. The positions and angles of the drill-guiding hole of the extension arm unit can be adjusted to reach other dental implant holes by pivoting on the reference shaft and the connecting shaft, so as to lead a driller to drill other dental implant holes precisely according to the drill-guiding hole.
Abstract: A music recommendation method and a computer readable recording medium storing a computer program performing the method are provided. In the music recommendation method, music items and rating data matrix comprising ratings and user IDs are first provided. Then, the ratings of each music item are classified into positive ratings and negative ratings. Thereafter, a pre-processing phase comprising a frame-based clustering step and a sequence-based clustering step is performed to transform the music items into perceptual patterns. Then, a prediction phase is performed to determine an interest value of a plurality of target music items for an active user. Thereafter, the target music items arranged into a music recommendation list in accordance with the first interest value and the second interest values, wherein the music recommendation list is a reference for the active user to select one of the target items.

Abstract: The liquid crystal display comprises a first substrate including a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode, a second substrate with an opposed electrode formed on, and a liquid crystal layer sealed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The thickness d1 of the liquid crystal layer on the first pixel electrode in the first pixel region is larger than the thickness d2 of the liquid crystal layer on the second pixel electrode in the second pixel region. The first pixel region includes a first partial region and a second partial region where the threshold voltage is higher than in the first partial region. The second pixel region includes a third partial region and a fourth partial region where the threshold voltage is higher than in the third partial region.
Abstract: A liquid crystal display module includes a backlight unit, a circuit board, a frame and at least one elastic part. The circuit board is disposed on one surface of the backlight unit. The frame covers over the circuit board. Furthermore, the elastic part is positioned between the circuit board and the frame. Before assembling, the elastic parts have a plurality of continuous cross-sections along with a perpendicular direction of the surface of the backlight unit and the continuous cross-sections have different area values.

Abstract: A laptop computer includes a main body, a display device, a hinge module and an angle detector. The hinge module is pivotally interconnected between the display device and the main body such that the display device is swiveled relative to the main body to be folded against or unfolded away from the main body. The hinge module includes a first hinge component and a second hinge component. The first hinge component is secured to the main body. The second hinge component is pivotally connected with the first hinge component and includes an end secured to the display device. The angle detector is coupled with an opposite end of the second hinge component for measuring a rotation angle of the second hinge component.
Abstract: In order to restore blurred images more efficiently, the invention provides a method for restoring an image for an electronic device. The method for restoring the image includes steps as follows. An acceleration signal is generated when an image of a photographed object is received. The distance between the electronic device and the photographed object is measured for generating an object distance. The image is restored according to the acceleration signal and the object distance.
Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a housing and a retaining member. The housing includes a connecting hole and an engagement hole. A connector is detachably connected to the connecting hole. The engagement hole includes a passing zone and an engagement zone that are communicated to each other. The retaining member includes a fixing end, an engagement end, and a retaining portion. The fixing end is fixed to the housing. The engagement end is capable of passing into the housing through the passing zone and is adapted to be engaged with the engagement zone. The retaining portion is connected between the fixing end and the engagement end for trapping the connector.
Abstract: A bulb structure of assembling-type car lamp includes a lamp housing and a bulb unit. The bulb unit includes a mounting base, a bulb holder, and a bulb. The mounting base includes electric pins, a forward raised seat, and a rearward protruded annular ring portion. The annular ring portion is externally provided with anti-slip ribs to facilitate easy turning and assembling of the bulb unit to the lamp housing. The bulb holder includes a holding seat and an adjusting seat connected to the mounting base and the bulb, respectively; and the bulb is electrically connected to the electric pins. By adjusting the adjusting seat relative to the holding seat, the bulb can be adjusted in position and focal length. A cover plate is closed to a rear open end of the annular ring portion to isolate joints of the bulb and the electric pins from external air, dust and water.
Abstract: A camera-based mobile communication device includes a light sensor, a camera module, a flashlight, and a micro-processing unit (MPU). The light sensor is operable to detect a brightness value of an external light source. The camera module is operable to photograph an image. The flashlight is operable to generate a flash. The MPU is electrically connected to the light sensor, the camera module, and the flashlight. The MPU includes a comparison module, a face recognizing module, and a flashlight control module. The comparison module is operable to compare the brightness value with a threshold brightness value. The face recognizing module is operable to determine whether there exists a facial feature in the image. The flashlight control module is operable to turn on the flashlight when the detected brightness value is greater than the threshold brightness value and the facial feature is recognized from the image.
Abstract: A multi-function hook is provided. The multi-function hook includes a hook unit and a plug unit. The hook unit includes a fixing board and at least one hook body. The fixing board includes a first L-shaped sheet and a second L-shaped fixing sheet having a hole respectively. The fixing board further includes at least one first protruded hook member, and an assembling hole disposed corresponding to the second L-shaped fixing sheet. The hook body is fixed on the front surface of the fixing board. The plug unit is assembled to the assembling hole and is fixed on the fixing board. The plug unit includes a cover and at least one second protruded hook member connecting with the cover. The cover includes a hollow hole disposed corresponding to the second L-shaped fixing sheet.
Abstract: A method for manufacturing an antenna includes steps as follows. First, a substrate is provided, wherein a surface of the substrate has an antenna region. Then, the surface of the substrate is electroless plated with a metal medium, so that the surface is covered with the metal medium. Then, the metal medium is covered with a resist. Then, a portion of the resist in the antenna region is removed. Then, the antenna region is electroplated with metal material to form an antenna main body. Then, a remaining portion of the resist is removed, and excluding a portion of the metal medium in the antenna region, the other portion of the metal medium is also removed from the substrate.
Abstract: A Cable Television optical fiber communication system is disclosed, comprises a provider end, plural optical signal transmission devices and plural user ends, each optical signal transmission device is provided between the provider end and the user ends and has an light splitting element, a RF receive module, and a RF return module. The light splitting element is connected to the provider end via an optical transmission wire and is served to bi-directionally transfer a laser beam having a signal between the provider end and the user ends. The RF receive module is served to transfer a first signal of the provider end to the user ends. The RF return module emits a laser beam having a second signal to the provider end only when an analog return signal is emitted from the user end.
Abstract: An HDD frame is used to fix several HDDs and several HDD cables. The HDD frame includes an HDD cage, a latch and an HDD cable bracket. The HDD cage includes three cage boards. Two of the cage boards are disposed at two ends of the other cage board. The latch includes a protrusion. The HDD cable bracket includes a baseboard and a sideboard, which are perpendicular to each other. The baseboard includes a first long edge and a second long edge. The sideboard is disposed at the second long edge. One end of the latch is fixed on the end of the sideboard to make the protrusion protrude through the sideboard hole of the sideboard. After the long edges of the HDD cable bracket are inserted into tracks on the HDD cage, the protrusion protrudes into the cage hole of the HDD cage.
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for driving a sensorless motor are described and shown in the specification and drawings, where the method includes steps as follows. First, a control signal is acquired, where the control signal has information of a predetermined rotational speed. Next, energy is supplied and progressively increased to the sensorless motor, so as to rotate a rotor of the sensorless motor. Then, a position of the rotor is detected. Finally, the energy is gradually regulated so that the sensorless motor is maintained at the predetermined rotational speed.
Abstract: The present invention is to disclose an IP-based hometown TV program delivery system comprising at least one TV program provider for providing a plurality of channels of TV programs; and at least one agency at a server-end for providing a plurality of digital video contents converted from said corresponding TV programs; characterized in that said agency at a server-end distributes said plurality of digital video contents to authorized users at a client-end via a broadcasting network, wherein each authorized users has subscription to said TV programs so as to get permission for watching and receives from said agency said digital video contents converted from said corresponding TV programs via said broadcasting network.
