Abstract: An erasure assembly for imaging plates comprised of a cover member and a base member, the cover member in the form of an inverted rectangular tray having a plurality of light sources and reflective sources mounted therein behind a diffuser glass member, the base member, complimentary with the cover member having a support area for the placement of imaging plates on their non-reactive surface, their photo-stimulable surface facing upwardly, the cover member closed upon the base member and there being a control means to activate the light sources for a time sufficient to erase the retained images on the photo-stimulable surface of the image plates.

Abstract: A security handrail system having a plurality of vertical post members securable in a vertical orientation to a stratum, the vertical post members intersected by a plurality of horizontal cross members, there being articulatingly secured between adjacent vertical post members, an articulating seat member rotatable from a vertical position flush with the plane of the handrail security system to a substantially horizontal plane allowing a user to orient himself in a sitting position for a temporary period of time. The seat member is capable of being formed with a biasing means, automatically returning the seat member to a vertical orientation when weight is removed.

Abstract: A golf club rest removably securable to the golf bag of a golfer, and utilized to support a plurality of golf clubs in a substantially vertical position when the golfer must venture a distance from the golf cart, the golf club rest comprising a vertical leg portion having a first end for insertion into the ground, the second end being bent into a horizontal plain perpendicular to the vertical leg section and arcuately formed and covered with a resilient grip, an attachment finger secured to said vertical leg proximate said second end, the attachment finger spaced apart from the vertical leg a distance sufficient to allow the upper peripheral edge of a golf bag to be slidably inserted there between, the arcuate upper end of the vertical leg-coextensive with the curvature of the peripheral edge of the golf bag when so positioned thereon.

Abstract: These and other objects of the present invention are achieved by a comminution apparatus comprised of a housing member formed with co-planar circularly-shaped chambers in chordal juxtaposition to each other thereby forming a collision zone therebetween and wherein wheel members having radially disposed directional vanes are positioned for rotation in each cylindrically-shaped chamber and wherein an inlet fluid conduit or a slurry of particulate matter to be treated is in axial fluid communication with each wheel member and wherein each wheel member is caused to be rotated in a direction to accelerate the slurry towards the collision zone and to affect particle size reduction by particle collision and wherein an outlet conduit is in fluid communication with the collision zone for withdrawing a slurry of size reduced particles from the comminution apparatus.

Abstract: A locking security cover which provides means for locking a depository cassette or receptacle to the currency validator mechanism limiting unauthorized access to the collected currency in the depository cassette, the locking security cover nests the depository cassette to the currency validator by means of key holes located on either side of the cover, cooperable with corresponding studs associated with the validator, thereby securing the locking security cover in a downward position and locked in position by a shackle secured to the rear face of the depository cassette cooperative with a downwardly extending back face of the locking security cover for receipt of a padlock, thereby securing the locking security cover.

Abstract: A lift mechanism for use with a “hard pack” of cigarettes wherein the “hard pack” of cigarettes consists of a housing having four side walls and a bottom wall, a prismatic lid hingeably secured to one of the upper ends of the side walls and a quantity of cigarettes encapsulated in a tear open foil wrap, the lift mechanism positioned within the foil wrap, the lift mechanism having a horizontal planar leg positioned between the foil wrap bottom wall and the cigarettes encapsulated in the foil wrap, the lift mechanism defining a planar surface beneath the cigarettes and at least one vertical surface, the vertical surface secured to a cord, the cord extending upwardly and being secured to the upper inner surface of the prismatic lid such that opening the prismatic lid tensions the cord and raises the lift member elevating a portion of the cigarettes.

Abstract: A transportable cart having a basket with a lift mechanism that raises the unit to the cargo floor height of the vehicle, and also used to lower the basket to a comfortable working height for the user while shopping. A slide mechanism includes a frame member, a set of guide rails, a plurality of wheels and rollers to guide the basket and frame assemblies into and out of the vehicle. A plurality of legs and base frame members connected by a plurality of cross members and hinges that are foldable to a compact arrangement and fits in place alongside the basket inside the vehicle. Wheels or casters attached to the base frame that contacts the ground when the cart is unloaded from the vehicle.
