Abstract: The ball retrieval and storage device includes a container having a hollow interior for storing a substantial number of tennis balls. At least a portion of the container bottom is formed by one or more movable rod members which are movable to allow the balls to enter through the bottom of the container. A user can retrieve a ball lying on the ground by forcing the bottom of the container down over the top of the ball. The ball engages the movable rod member and moves it slightly upwardly which allows the ball to enter the container as the container is progressively forced down over the top of the ball compressing the ball. The movable rod members are formed of a material having an elastic memory such that for use over time, the movable rod members will not permanently deform so as to decrease the efficacy of the ball retrieval and storage device.

Abstract: Disclosed here is a composition containing menthol and menthyl lactate, and its preparation method and its applications as a cooling agent and a flavoring agent. The present invention provides a composition characterized in that it comprises menthol and menthyl lactate in a ratio by weight in the range of 1:4˜4:1 and the corresponding crystallization point is below room temperature of 25° C. Such composition has the advantages of being liquid at room temperature; easy to use as a cooling agent or a flavoring agent; no need to use heat to melt menthol and menthyl lactate, which not only saves time, money and heating equipment, but also simplifies manufacturing process and can be used in cold processes at room temperature.

The seat includes an actuator controlled and operated electronically or manually. The onset of the collision sequences the car crash sensor or collision avoidance devices including occupant voice activated actuator. The trigger release forces of a biasing member or equivalently devices electromagnetic or pyrotechnic to deploys instantly pivot frame incorporated with movable seat cushion, seat back and headrest. The alteration of the movable seat assembly from a normal stationary position creates a safety zone that allows occupants to lower their center of gravity to an optimum seating position.

Abstract: The modular security safe with offset security bolt box of the present invention includes a number of modular panels which serve as the top, bottom, and sides of the safe. The modular panels of the safe are cast in a plastic or metal mold with high-density concrete reinforced by expanded metal. The modular panels included outer portions and stepped or rabbeted inner portions. The panels are formed from a sheet of material bent to a desired form. Concrete is poured in to the panel, in a single pour step. The panel is vibrated to allow the concrete to settle, and the concrete is allowed to set. The outer surface can then be covered with a desired laminate. The panels have security bolt boxes attached by bolts to the inner portions thereof. Security bolt boxes comprise a tray having a bottom and upstanding walls, and they can be formed by bending a single sheet of material. The modular side panels are attached to the top and bottom panels by bolts extending through the security bolt boxes.

Abstract: A system is provided for converting a bathtub area into an enclosed substantially waterproof shower enclosure by means of adding or modifying the shower curtain installation by providing inner closure channels at each end of the shower curtain as well as corresponding outer retention channels that are easily fixed onto opposed walls in the bathtub enclosure for sealingly receiving the side edges of the curtain in a waterproof relationship. Each end of the shower curtain is retained within a vertically disposed U-shaped inner channel having longitudinal ridges within the U-shaped channel for retention of a flexible slit grommet spline or locking rod running lengthwise.
