  • Patent number: 7851098
Abstract: A reformer fuel cell system having a plurality of components, that are a plurality of partial reformer systems forming a reformer for the generation of a hydrogen-rich gas and a fuel cell for the generation of electric current with use being made of the hydrogen-rich gas. A burner device is arranged outside of the reformer and the fuel cell is provided for the generation of a hot exhaust gas. An exhaust gas supply assembly supplies the exhaust gas to at least two of the components wherein the exhaust gas supply assembly defines the flow path of the exhaust gas such that the exhaust gas flows to and/or through the components according to the level of their particular operating temperature in descending temperature order. In this manner, it is easily possible to directly heat up the individual components to the level of their particular operating temperature in a selective manner.

  • Patent number: 7841261
Abstract: The present invention is a lightweight impact socket having an aluminum or other light metal blank having a fastener end and a drive end. A high strength, heat-treated steel alloy insert is inserted into the fastener end of the blank and glued in place to yield a highly effective impact socket. A drive end insert can be inserted into the bore at the drive end to add strength to the drive end of the impact socket. A high strength, heat-treated steel alloy sleeve can be adhered to the outside of the lightweight blank to add further strength to the drive end of the impact socket.

  • Patent number: 7836536
Abstract: A floor section is formed at the rear of a vehicle body, at one side of the vehicle body. A lifting floor device having a floor body lifted and lowered by a lifting drive device is placed above the vehicle body. The floor body has a cutout at the left side of the floor body, at the rear half thereof. The right side of the floor body is used as a passage for a physically handicapped person. A stairway device is provided between the floor body and the floor section as a passage for an able-bodied person, on the floor body side in the cutout, and the stairway device is pivotable in a vertical plane. A lifting table is placed behind the vehicle body, on the left side thereof so that the lifting table can face the rear end of the passage for a physically handicapped person.

  • Patent number: 7810415
Abstract: A portable tool kit comprising a self-releasing clasp such that the clasp is released as a main body is rotated about a handle axle from a closed position to an open position with reference to a handle assembly. The main body and handle assembly cooperate to wholly enclose a set of tools when in the closed position. When in an open position, the tools of the main body are exposed to selection and rotation about a rivet of the main body cooperating with a biasing device of a biasing rivet of the main body to hold the tool in place. When fully extended, the main body and handle assembly permit the selection of a plurality of tools such as Phillips head and flat head screwdrivers of different sizes for extension from within the main body for use. Moreover, lamps may be provided on either end of the handle assembly for illuminating a work area.

  • Patent number: 7810924
Abstract: Eyeglass frames for people with Down syndrome, for others having facial characteristics similar to those with Down syndrome, and those with a depressed nasal bridge or a low nasal bridge, the eyeglass frames having a bridge lower than the normal higher placed bridge and in general alignment with the optical center of lenses mounted in the lens frames, extensions to widen the temple distance to accommodate the broader temples of people having Down syndrome or facial characteristics similar to those with Down syndrome, lower temples to maintain the general alignment of the location of the optical center with the pupils of the person wearing the eyeglass frames; and shorter temples than temples for normal caucasians to accommodate the ears as located on persons with normal facial features.

  • Patent number: 7793600
Abstract: This security door construction is applicable to safes, factory doors and house doors. An offset hinge assembly allows the door to swing open and closed and also to slide in and out of a door slot in the door frame at the closing edge of the door. In the construction of a safe, hooks on the inside of the door enter slots in upstands inside the safe and engage and disengage through the sliding motion. One pair of hinges is fixed to the frame and the second pair of hinges is fixed to the door. The frame and door pairs are connected by a rod or tube which ensures that the hinge axis of the door pair remains parallel to the hinge axis of the frame pair. A handwheel is mounted on the door which turns a crank between stops and a link reacts against the rod causing the door to slide easily to LEFT or RIGHT. A spring overcomes resistance to initial movement.
