Abstract: A method for collecting data from electronic voting units standing by to receive enabling commands, comprising: sending in parallel a vote opening/control command from a central logic unit to a plurality of peripheral logic units by way of first connection elements and to voting units by way of second connection elements; storing the vote in the voting unit if the vote opening/control command is a vote opening command; setting the voting units to the stored vote sending mode; sending in succession, from each individual peripheral logic unit, a vote collection command; sending to the peripheral logic units a vote signal from each one of the voting units in a preset time interval; and transmitting the votes collected by the peripheral logic units to the central logic unit and to a computer.

Abstract: A twin-head beveling machine for high-precision machining on heads of pipes, comprising two mutually opposite pressers and machining heads with a rotating disk; the pressers are rigidly connected to each other by a central fixed shaft and the heads are mounted so that they can rotate and move axially individually on the central fixed shaft. The machining heads are subjected to the action of hydraulic or pneumatic motors and of axial movement elements, which are activated by a respective hydraulic or pneumatic actuator and produce the axial working advancement of the respective head.

Abstract: A gravity drainage cord formed by braiding a plurality of strands of silk of the type used for surgical sutures, and fitted loosely, in the median region, in a tubular sheath made of a material such as silicone which is adapted to facilitate sliding with respect to tissue, increases biocompatibility and allows optional coupling to mechanical aspiration units.

Abstract: A device for adjusting the clamping pressure in applicators for clamping terminals onto electrical cables comprising a composite pivot interposed between an actuation hammer and a supporting element to which the tools for clamping the terminal respectively onto the insulation and onto the core of the conductor are slidingly coupled in a mutually parallel arrangement; the thrust of the hammer acts on the heads of the tools, and the pivot is rigidly coupled to the hammer or to the supporting element. The pivot has coaxial threaded regions on which respective wheels are engaged. Screwing/unscrewing of the wheels varies axial distance, with respect to the hammer, of either the tools or only of the insulation clamping tool.

Abstract: A sewing machine for forming running-stitch seams, comprises a needle provided, proximate to its tip, with an open eye and orientated so that its axis is substantially perpendicular to a surface for supporting the item being sewn. The needle is actuated with a reciprocating motion along its own axis passing cyclically through the supporting surface. A thread take-up wheel is provided below the supporting surface and is composed of a fixed part, with a magazine for the taken-up thread, and a rotatable part, rotationally actuated about its own axis. The rotatable wheel part supports a lower looper engaging the thread loop below the supporting surface to load the thread in the magazine formed in the wheel fixed part. Pneumatic tensioning means for the thread portion lying below the supporting surface are further provided.

Abstract: A temperature control unit for dies and molds, particularly for pressure die-casting or injection-molding of aluminum and alloys thereof, plastic materials and the like, comprising a die or mold cooling circuit through which pressurized water flows. A water feed pump is connected to the circuit and is adjustable to a pressure which is higher than the evaporation pressure of water at a preheating temperature of the water, which can be detected by a first sensor for detecting the temperature of the water. The circuit includes a circulation pump, a water overflow valve which can be set to a lower pressure than the feed pump, and a heating unit which is controlled by the first temperature sensor. A die or mold temperature sensor is further provided which controls the feed pump.

Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing threaded caps comprises a plurality of compression molding assemblies which are arranged on a rotating carousel and comprise an upper male mold half and a lower female mold half. The male mold half comprises a tubular element, a sleeve guided coaxially to said tubular element, and a punch guided in the tubular element and having a helical slot for forming the thread of the cap. The punch enters the female mold half and produces, together with it, the cap through compression of a dose of plastic material deposited in the female mold half. After the spacing of the punch from the female mold half, the removal of the cap from the punch occurs by way of a removal device, which comprises a ring gear associated with the sleeve and provided with a collar in sliding contact on the punch, a rod which can slide axially in a seat of the carousel and supports a gear meshing with the ring gear and connected to a motor drive mechanism.
