Abstract: A shoulder endoprosthesis for fractures of the upper end of the humerus, comprising a humeral stem, adapted to be accommodated in an intramedullary canal of the humerus and provided with multiple longitudinal ribs, and a humeral proximal part, which is suitable to couple to one end of the stem, is provided with a plurality of lateral fins and has, at an upper end, a portion for engagement with a humeral head which is suitable to reconstruct the head of the humerus of the patient.

Abstract: An extensible footrest, particularly for armchairs, sofas and the like, which comprises a frame adapted to be hinged to a frame of a seat of an armchair, sofa or the like, the footrest frame being constituted by a first pair of lateral arms and by a second pair of lateral arms which are slideable with respect to the first pair of lateral arms, at least one actuator being rigidly connected to the seat frame at one end and to the footrest frame at an opposite end, in order to transfer the footrest frame from a first retracted inactive position to an extended active position.

Abstract: A vacuum adjustment valve, particularly for thoracic drainage devices, which comprises a valve body arranged in the air intake duct and tuning a first region connected to the intake duct and a second region connected to the drainage device. A regulator is arranged between the regions, is struck by the air stream and is operatively connected to a flow control element which controls a port for connection between the second region and an environment at atmospheric pressure. Adjustable elastic closure elements act on the flow control element.

The hole is provided with two shoulders, one whereof lies further outward, the other one lying further inward with respect to the surface of the plug. Abstract: A method for manufacturing a package for packaging food products, composed of an outer sheet made of heat-sealable material and of an undulated inner sheet. In a first step of the method, the two sheets are unwound from respective reels, so that the outer sheet forms two lateral borders left exposed by the inner sheet. By way of appropriate longitudinal movements of the sheets, the inner sheet is centered on the outer sheet so as to form, at their opposite ends, two transverse borders which are perpendicular to the lateral ones.

Abstract: A vitamin K adduct, particularly suitable as vitamin supplement for feeds, constitued by menadione bisulfite bonded with an appropriate ion-exchange resin and exceptionally stabilized thereby. The adduct can be used as an antihemorrhagic additive for farm animal feeds. The high thermal stability of the vitamin adduct allows to use it in modern technologies for producing feeds in extruded form.

Abstract: An anti-balloon device, to be placed downstream of a weft feeder for weaving looms, comprising a structure which forms a substantially tubular through cavity, preferably substantially frustum-shaped; the cavity is crossed by an unwinding thread that arrives from the weft feeder and controls the passage of the thread, by opposing the centrifugal force that affects it. The structure is shaped like a bottomless basket which is formed by rods lying longitudinally between end elements which connect the rods; the end elements are end rings which are mutually angularly spaced so as to surround the cavity in order to control the passage of the thread.

Abstract: A hydraulic pump with permanent-magnet motor having a preset direction of rotation, comprising a permanent-magnet motor connected to an impeller with curved vanes which is rotatably accommodated in a volute. The volute is predominantly symmetrical with respect to a line being directed toward an intake port and passing through a rotation axis of the impeller.
