Abstract: A casino game system which allows a person playing a first gaming device, such as a video gaming device, to play a conventional group oriented game. e.g. bingo, without leaving the first gaming device. One embodiment comprises a casino bingo game comprising a plurality of gaming devices which each allow a player to play a first game, such as stud poker. Each of the gaming devices has at least one means for generating sound corresponding to the play of the first game. A control station is placed in communication with the gaming devices. The sound generating means of the plurality of gaming devices is responsive to the control station such that the volume of the sound corresponding to the first game can be reduced at the beginning of a bingo session, in response to a signal from the control station. The control station is also capable of generating a first signal which can be detected at the gaming devices to indicate the beginning of the bingo session.

Abstract: A poker-type card game which provides a player with an opportunity to increase the amount wagered, and therefore to increase a winning payout, even after the player has received a definite indication that the player has won. Apparatus useful with the game method include a board game version and an electronic video game version which allow a player to increase his wager after reviewing a first display of a plurality of cards.

Abstract: This invention relates to a light weight, portable, hand-operated device for extracting the kernels of very hard-shell edible nuts in premium-size pieces without crushing. On black walnuts the device is effectively used: first to split the nut along its natural suture; and then by using its tooth-like nippers, the hard shell of each black walnut half is split into very large portions along five outlined paths thereby releasing the kernel in large premium-size pieces. The invention is comprised of jaws with nippers, a lock to hold the jaws closed, a splitter blade mounted on one handle and a slotted safety ring mounted on the other handle adjacent to the splitter blade.
