Abstract: An apparatus and method for supply of treating fluid to a cutting apparatus directly to cut vegetation substantially simultaneously with the cutting of the vegetation. Treating fluid is delivered from the supply to an intermediate, sealed reservoir into which a desired volume of treating fluid is maintained and a rotary shaft seal is provided to seal the reservoir against entrance of debris. The treating fluid is then delivered from the sealed reservoir, via centrifugal force, through a channel to a passageway formed in the bolt connecting the cutting blade to a blade mount of the mower.

Abstract: An improved drinking container for soft drinks, flavored drinks as well as other similar nutritional and energy supplement drink products which allow the end user to control the amount of flavor, mix, nutritional or energy supplement or any other additive added to the liquid drink product. The drinking container and method associated therewith permits an end user of the drinking container to controllably inject an additive into the liquid drink product to attain a desired ratio of additive in the drink product via a dispenser having measurement units marked or formed thereon to provide controlled amounts of the additive to the main liquid drink product such as water or carbonated water for flavoring, calorie control and/or nutritional supplements.

Abstract: An adjustable crutch, cane or similar walking aid for assisting everyday movement for temporarily injured and even permanently handicapped persons, the crutch having telescoping crutch tubes encasing a locking gas spring crutches which can instantaneously and controllably be adjusted in length during use, thereby considerably facilitating such common physical activities as sitting down, standing up, negotiating stairs or other obstacles and other similar everyday mobile activities. The locking gas spring functions by internal gas pressure and the telescoping crutch tubes are extended as the internal gas pressure seeks to reach the lowest energy state by maximizing its internal volume. For safety purposes a disengagement mechanism is provided so that extension occurs up to a preset level dictated by the user, and can even be overridden if desired.

Abstract: An ambulatory support and traction device used as a flexible foot (1) added to a walking aid, such as a cane or crutch (6), is provided. The flexible foot (1) includes a bendable coil or spring (3) that allows angulation of a walking aid shaft (4) relative to the foot (1) without the loss of adherence of the foot to a ground surface (19). The allowance of angulation of the walking aid shaft (4) improves ambulatory support and balance when leaning on the walking aid or when traversing an inclined surface and can assist the user in rising from a sitting position to a standing position without repositioning of the foot. The flexible foot (1) has a rigid base (2) for structural support and a traction sole (17) to adhere to surfaces both indoors and outdoors and on different surfaces and environments.

Abstract: An apparatus for displaying cards and papers in the workplace includes a central shaft portion having a pair of ends, with each end including a generally semicircular ring portion adapted to capture the slots of one or more cards. The central shaft portion may be releasably captured in a channel of a universal mount or a single- or double swing arm portion. Removal of the shaft portion from the channel permits the shaft portion to be split open along a break, thereby opening the rings along breaks in the manner of a split-ring binder. Alternatively, the shaft portion may be used alone (without a mount or swing arms) to hold a quantity of cards. The swing arms may be hinged upon a base portion and attached to the chassis or peripheral surface surrounding a computer video monitor, so that the swing arms and shaft portion can swing forward and around to fit the user's viewing preferences. When affixed to a monitor, the semicircular rings facilitate easy installation and flipping of slotted cards and/or papers.

Abstract: An aerosol spray actuator for a pressurized aerosol canister and in particular trigger or button actuated spray actuators having three main parts to simplify the mechanical moving parts of a spray actuator. An actuator button, an actuator base and finally a nozzle piece being inserted at the very end of a product dispensing passage embodied either in the body or the trigger part. A mechanism for permitting and blocking the actuation of the spray actuator is also provided so that inadvertent operation of the actuator can be prevented.

Abstract: A motorcycle frame assembly having a cantilevered, open loop motorcycle frame assembly that achieves a desirable balance between frame strength and rigidity in a lateral and a vertical direction without the necessity of a conventional down tube. The frame assembly utilizes a top tube supported by a top tube support aligned parallel and concentric with at least a portion of the top tube from a connection point with the head tube. The top tube and support being the sole support for the head tube so that a down tube is not necessary.

Abstract: A collapsible bench and canopy has a seat frame made up of a plurality of crossing pairs of seat tubes pivotally connected to each other supporting a fabric seat. A fabric back rest is supported by back tubes attached to the seat frame and a canopy is supported by the back tubes to provide shelter to occupants of the collapsible bench. The bench and canopy can be collapsed in one piece by pivoting down the canopy and ten moving the crossing pairs of seat tubes so that each pair is substantially aligned.

Abstract: A holder for an aerosol can is provided in which a pivotable trigger mechanism can actuate the aerosol can by inducing a compressive force on the lower end of the can. When inducing this compressive force, the pivotable trigger mechanism is at an angle with the holder wall. After dispersing the contents of the aerosol can, the pivotable trigger mechanism can then be rotated such that the trigger mechanism substantially covers an opening in the holder body.

Abstract: A detachable snow plow blade is driven by a skid-steer or other suitable vehicle. The detachable plow blade has hydraulically adjustable wing blades that each pivot under separate control about a main blade. Pins that support power cylinders between braces are arranged to enable each wing to extend through a range of motion from essentially perpendicular to and ahead of the main blade to essentially perpendicular to and behind the main blade. In a further alternative embodiment, the entire blade, including wing blades, may additionally be pivoted with respect to the vehicle, resulting in a very adjustable blade which is well adapted to emulate prior art box plow/pushers, conventional plows, pull back/drag plows, V-plows and fold-out plows.
