Abstract: A portable multipurpose chair provides hooks on a frame that can be hooked around a bleacher seat or alternatively be used as legs of the chair in outdoor environments such as a beach or campsite. Telescoping frame sides include an elastic cord to bias the hooks together to remain engaged around a bench seat when the chair is used in a bleacher environment. The back of the seat includes a backrest against which a user can lean. Rigid cross members ensure that the chair remains in a stable position when in use.

Abstract: An exhaust head mounted detachably to a toilet side includes a collection portion that extends inward toward the toilet bowl between the toilet base and toilet seat to collect toilet gases. The head conforms to the shape of the toilet base with a thin profile as it proceeds rearward along the toilet base from the collection portion. An inconspicuous lavatory outlet duct runs along the lavatory wall and ceiling to provide fluid communication between flexible tube and the lavatory vent. A flexible tube that bends to allow the head to be removed from the toilet for cleaning connects the head to the outlet duct. Typically, the head is attached by means of a mild magnet attached with adhesive to the toilet base side and a matching ferromagnetic material on the head aligned with the magnet. A vent insert, to which the lavatory vents are connected, is provided for installation between a preexisting room vent cover and a building duct for closing the vent upon command.

Abstract: A tractor implement to grind surface pavement in removing paint lines is mounted on a tractor side and driven by a tractor power take-off. An implement first frame is supported rotatably on a rod extending orthogonally from the tractor. A rotatable tractor control mechanically connected to the implement first frame causes it to rotate on the rod, therein providing an implement adjustment in pitch and lifting and lowering the implement between a travel position and an operational position. The implement first frame connects pivotably to an implement second frame. A first hydraulic cylinder on the implement first frame parallel the rod connects to the implement second frame such that actuation of the first hydraulic cylinder causes the implement second frame to pivot about a second frame central axis therein providing the second frame an adjustment in roll. A grinding brush is mounted transversely to the implement second frame.

Abstract: A paint ball gun with typical gun body bolt chamber, air chamber, hammer chamber and trigger plate aligns the trigger plate with a timing plate and air valve to eliminate torques otherwise incurred between the valve and a trigger integral with the trigger plate as the trigger pulls the valve between effective positions during firing and recocking of the gun. The timing plate reciprocates with movement of the trigger plate in a timing plate groove in the gun body, shielding the timing plate from external damage and dirt. The air chamber and the hammer chamber, typically rearward of the air chamber, together lie below the bolt chamber and above the timing plate groove in vertical alignment further stabilizing the gun during recocking and firing of the gun.

Abstract: A portable door lock comprises a jam plate connected through a hinge to a latch plate through a hinge that allows the latch plate to swing from a lock position alongside a door to an unlock position alongside a door jam when the portable door lock is installed in a door jam recess between a door and a door jam so the lock can remain installed yet allow the door to be opened for normal use or locked. A jam plate tongue extends orthogonally from the jam plate adjacent a jam plate hole sized to receive a door latch striker therethrough. Preferably two opposing upper and lower hooks opening in opposite directions swivel on the latch plate on a pivot pin in a plane parallel to the latch plate one hook applicable for a right-hinged door, the other for a left-hinged door. The hooks also may wrap and hook a doorknob shank from above and below.

Abstract: A length-adjustable extension pole with telescoping members includes an accessory-actuating cable that automatically adapts its operative length in concert with length adjustment of the pole without separate action by a user. The cable runs within the telescoping members between a pole accessory end where an accessory is mounted and a pole handle end where a pole trigger lever is located. A first cable component, typically including a cable attached to a rack (or a notched or threaded rod), runs from the pole accessory end toward the pole handle end. A second cable component runs from the trigger lever on the pole handle end toward the pole accessory end overlapping the first cable component.

Abstract: A tractor pavement-scrubbing implement having a rotating transverse cylindrical short-bristle brush attachable to a 3-point tractor hitch such that the brush may be lifted off the pavement surface or may be lowered against the pavement surface by the hydraulically-actuated 3-point hitch. The implement rides on wheels on each side of the transverse implement with the brush mounted forward of the wheels. Thus, when the hitch is lowered or lifted by the tractor 3-point hitch, the implement pivots on its rearward wheels. The implement comprises a first rotatable cylindrical brush mounted transverse in the implement adapted to rotate counterclockwise opposite the direction of travel for increased scrubbing action. Optionally, a second cylindrical brush parallel and axially offset from the first is included, rotating counter to rotation of the first brush clockwise to provide opposite scrubbing action complementary to the first brush. The brush or brushes are driven by a tractor power take-off drive.

Abstract: A plurality of blocks are chained together in alignment over at least one rod, each with a recess for receiving a work piece between adjacent blocks. A second chain of holders may be employed to receive a different portion of the work pieces so the work pieces extend between the chains of blocks, forming a set of chains that may be presented as a unit before a cutting tool to make a cutting process efficient and uniform among work pieces. Further chains or sets of chains may be employed to hold a larger number of work pieces together. Chains of blocks are advanteously mounted on vise plates in plate holes spaced apart from centers of vertical and horizontal neighboring plate holes a same distance, d. Thus, two rods of a set of work piece holders may be positioned at preferred positions on the plate with recesses aligned vertically or horizontally.

Abstract: An adapter plate replicates an interface to a down rigger mount such that the plate is received in the mount in the same manner as a down rigger. The down rigger mount includes a releasable means for securely receiving a down rigger and releasing the down rigger from its mount when the down rigger is not in use. The adapter plate is similarly secured and released. The adapter plate is further configured to receive a fishing pole holder mount. To enable a pole holder to be mounted to an incompatible down rigger mount, the pole holder, otherwise mountable to a boat gunnel, is mounted instead to matching bolt holes on the adapter plate. Because there is a variety of down rigger mounts, each different from the others, and it is not necessarily known which down rigger mount will be encountered on any given outing, a plurality of adapter plates is provided to achieve the desired interface to one of several down rigger mounts, each plate still receiving the pole holder mount.

Abstract: A prefabricated window fame with a decorative window subassembly within for use in a building having a window opening in a wall or a door with a rail about its perimeter. The window frame includes a first, or back, member and a second, or front, member overhanging the window subassembly therebetween and fastened together to form a window frame groove matching the window frame rail. The front frame member is mountable on the outside of the window opening and the back frame member is mountable on the inside of the window opening with the window subassembly therebetween. Frame members are identical, symmetric components with one when inverted matching another to comprise front and back frame members. The frame members are secured together by a plurality of fasteners secured to the frame members about their perimeters. The fasteners comprise matching latch hooks or posts with ridges matching frame holes with ridges.

Abstract: A seat cushion comprising a large pad with a plurality of pocketed flaps attached thereto and foldable on the pad perimeter over the pad for carrying or away from the pad availing the pad as an unobstructed seat cushion. The flap pockets are directed inward toward the pad such that when the pad is in use as a cushion on a hard chair, such as a student's desk, the pockets are directed upward toward the user for convenient access. The most outside flap shares a zipper with the pad and when closed defines a cavity within in which the other flaps are secured, folded alternately over the pad. The cushion is transported on the user's back in the normal manner of a backpack by two arm loops through which the user may place his arm and shoulders, respectively, thus bringing the pad against the user's back as a cushion.

Abstract: A removable and portable golf cart canopy comprising a secondary frame foldable within a plane of a primary fame in a substantially vertical, storable position unfolds from the primary plane on pivot pins joining secondary plane side member ends intermediate primary plane side members as the primary frame separates to an acute angle from the cart roof with its ends rotating in a cart corner between a cart cabin and a cart golf bag compartment rearward of the cabin. A canopy cover drapes over the primary frame with a first side removably attached to the golf cart roof by flexible hook and loop tape. The primary and secondary frames are adjustable in length and width with extendable telescoping elements.

Abstract: A connector of electromagnetically insulative material includes a shaft section on a drive shaft end and a matching probe section on an eddy current probe mating to the shaft section with face to face contact surfaces to prevent electromagnetic fields from propagating along the surfaces. The connector includes upper and lower portions with power line connecting pins and matching sockets in the upper portions of the sections and communication line connecting pins and matching sockets in the lower portions of the sections. The pins and sockets are fitted within electrically nonconductive inserts within probe and shaft section bores, the inserts having magnetic permeabilities less than those of the probe and shaft sections.

Abstract: A sluice comprising a series of sequential, interconnected chutes, each inverting a stratified slurry, discharges the slurry in each chute over a mesh screen in a subsequent chute and eventually out of the sluice, with each incremental stage designed to treat smaller matter. An array of cones is disposed on each chute bottom over which the slurry passes, each cone in the array having an opening oriented downwater and including a ridge over-hanging its opening also oriented downwater, such that heavy matter settling from the mineral matrix is drawn into the cone. Below the cone array is a perforated mat. Also below the array, beginning at the minor's moss mat and extending downwater, is a textured mat, typically with upstanding ribs transverse to the chute water flow that also tends to capture settling material.

Abstract: A portable, optically-stable stand, sized to fit over a bed or chair, such as a wheel chair, adapted to collapse with pivoting legs compactly folded parallel to a main beam, is configured to unfold with all support legs mutually diverging. On the main beam is removably attached a vertical post. Eye examination equipment is mounted height-adjustable to the vertical post with a sleeve sliding over the post, regulated with rack and gear. The main beam and legs are telescoping to enhance compactness. The legs are secured in an optically stable support position with leg proximal ends pivotably received in a slot with a slot flat end. With the pivoting legs diverging in said support position, a leg end terminating in an oblique, flat surface is leans in face-to-face contact against the slot flat end to limit further pivoting.

The harness is multiuse and versatile with attachment rings and couplers in various locations on the harness so a wearer can move between different applications, including a ring on the dorsal back for use in fall arrest, rings on waist sides so the vest can be used for work positioning, a coupler at the sternum, a ring at the waist buckle for repel attachments, and leg straps for support below the waist when required.

Abstract: An anchor point fixture comprising 2 pivotably-joined opposing jaws form a rail slot between them adapted to receive a rail head with the rail passing between spaced-apart jaw lower portions, secured in a selective closed position to accommodate rails of differing cross section. The fixture is adjustable in size by means of a plurality of holes on a common arc on each upper portion of the opposing jaw, the holes spaced apart on a first jaw different that are the holes spaced apart on the second jaw to provide a wide range of finely adjustable close positions. A pin passes through a pair of aligned holes, one from each jaw. The jaw lower portions are massive to provide ballast and a center of gravity below the rail slot, and a D-ring for connecting a harness carabiner is affixed close above the rail slot, both to minimize binding as the fixture is pulled from the D-ring by a user.
