Abstract: An actuating device (18) or a clutch (16) of a motor vehicle (2) comprising one electric motor (34), one gearing (36, 40, 42, 44) which converts rotational motion of the electric motor (34) into a translatory motion and one accumulator (52). The converter gearing comprises one recirculating ball spindle (44). The accumulator (52) is at least partly situated within the recirculating ball spindle (44), and at least parts (58, 60) of a displacement sensor (56) are situated within the recirculating ball spindle (44).
Abstract: A hitch apparatus for connection between a tractor and a trailing implement such as a cutter includes a hitch arm at one end of the apparatus extending forwardly and pivotal so as to extend either inwardly or outwardly thus offsetting the apparatus across the rear of the tractor. The apparatus includes the draw bar hitch at the rear spaced across from the hitch arm for attachment to the cutter so that the cutter is offset to one side of the tractor. Two gear boxes and a drive shaft provide connection from the PTO of the tractor to the drive input of the cutter. The offset hitch apparatus allows the cutter to run in a ditch while the tractor remains on level ground.

A sun gearwheel (SO3) of the third planetary gearwheel assembly (RS3) can be fixed relative to a transmission housing (GG) by means of the first shift control element (A). A cooling system (9) for the starter clutch, a radiator (7) for hydraulic fluid and a lubricant supply (10) for the transmission are integrated into the secondary circuit (5), where the radiator (7) is arranged upstream from the cooling system (9) for the starter clutch. A volume flow of the hydraulic fluid through the radiator (7) can be limited by way of a controllable bypass line (11), which opens up into the secondary circuit (5) downstream from the radiator (7) and upstream from the cooling system (9) for the starter clutch.

Abstract: According to the invention, the section (2) comprises a double-sided adhesive strip (8) which is covered with a protective film (11). The aforementioned protective film (11) is removed by way of a pull tab (12) before gluing, the tab consisting of two tab parts (15) which are positioned on either side of a slit (16) in the film. The automated method comprises, in the extrusion line, a step whereby the pull tab (12) is joined to the adhesive-covering protective film in the middle of the adhesive area transversely to the section. The tab and the protective film are subsequently cut in order to produce two tab parts which are each connected to the end of one length of protective film (18) which is intended to be torn off. The invention is particularly suitable for use in the car industry and in building and for producers and users of extruded sections which are glued using double-sided adhesive.
Abstract: A reverse gear arrangement in a countershaft transmission (1, 40, 44) having at least one starting element (2, 41), at least one transmission input shaft (4, 5, 42), one countershaft (22), fixed or idler gear wheels fastened or rotatably supported on the shafts, shifting sets (20, 21, 37, 38) coordinated with the idler gears and a reverse gear shaft (30, 31) upon which a driveable gear wheel (29, 32) and a driveable gear wheel (28, 33) are fastened. It is proposed for further development of the transmission that the driveable gear wheel (29, 32) of the reverse gear (RG) be meshed with a fixed gear (12, 14) of another transmission gear which is fastened on at least one transmission input shaft (4, 5, 42).
Abstract: A scroll fluid machine comprises a fixed scroll, an orbiting scroll and a self-rotation-preventing device for preventing the orbiting scroll from rotating on its own axis. The self-rotation-preventing device comprises a bearing in a support hole of the orbiting scroll, a crank pin which connects the orbiting scroll to the orbiting scroll, and an adjusting member interposed between the inner circumferential surface of the support hole and the outer circumferential surface of the bearing to correct an error in orbiting motion between the two scrolls.

Abstract: A rotary cutter assembly constructed in accordance with this method of securing a rotary cutter to a body has a cutter pocket with a first shoulder and a truncated second shoulder. A receptacle extends into the first shoulder. A first retainer retains a first axle end of the rotary cutter and engages the first shoulder to prevent axial movement in a first direction. A projection on the first retainer engages the receptacle to prevent removal of the first retainer radially from the cutter pocket. A second retainer retains a second axle end of the rotary cutter. The second retainer has a step down portion engaging the truncated second shoulder of the cutter pocket to prevent axial movement in a second direction. A locking ring overlies the truncated second shoulder and the step down portion of the second retainer to prevent removal of the second retainer radially from the cutter pocket.
Abstract: Aligning and testing alignment of optical elements in a laser beam delivery system using non-visible radiation. An alignment mirror replaces a beam redirection mirror and includes a fluorescing substrate and a dielectric coating on an incident face of the fluorescing substrate that reflects a major part of an incident laser beam along a next leg of the beam path and transmits a part of the beam into the fluorescing substrate, which is transmissive to visible radiation and fluoresces when irradiated by the beam to emit a visible light image from a back face of the alignment mirror. An alignment target on the back face indicates a preferred point of incidence of the beam on the alignment mirror for a desired alignment of the at least one laser beam. A lens may be tested and the properties of the lens determined by use of a fluorescing target plate.
Abstract: A height control valve linkage assembly for an air suspension system, including an air bag and a height control valve controlling the supply of air to the air bag. A telescopic linkage is positioned between the arm of the height control valve and the suspension. The linkage is extended to alter the ride height setting of the height control valve, thereby selectively providing additional clearance.
Abstract: A grid-type platform especially suited for use supporting vehicle wheels to provide traction while traveling off-road especially through environmentally sensitive topography, and to prevent unnecessary and excessive wear and damage to such off-road paths or trails. More specifically this invention relates to a grid-type platform having a plurality of grid sections defined by intersection lateral and longitudinal walls and having an intermediate support designed to provide all-terrain vehicles and four-wheel drive vehicles the necessary traction to reduce tire slippage and rutting when traveling through off-road trails or paths particularly through environmentally sensitive areas.
Abstract: An acoustic fluid machine includes an acoustic resonator, a valve device, a piston, and an actuator. The acoustic resonator has a larger-diameter base and a smaller-diameter upper end. The valve device is provided on the upper end of the acoustic resonator and has a sucking hole and a discharge hole. The piston is provided in the base of the acoustic resonator and has a surface such that the distance between the upper end of the acoustic resonator and the upper surface of the piston is substantially constant over the whole surface of the piston. The actuator is connected to the piston and reciprocates the piston at high speed axially with a very small amplitude so that a gas is sucked into the acoustic resonator via the sucking hole and discharged via the discharge hole by virtue of pressure fluctuations within the acoustic resonator.
