  • Patent number: 7402097
Abstract: A bore honing device comprising a support assembly including first and second end support elements connected by a base support which supports an axial guide track. A trolley engaging with the guide track and the trolley being movable along the guide track for guide movement of a bore honing tool supported by the trolley. At least one adjustable guide is provided for limiting travel of the trolley along the guide track. A weight compensation mechanism is connected between the trolley and a desired end wall of the support assembly for exerting a force on the support assembly when a bore honing device is vertically oriented to compensate for the weight of the drive motor, the trolley and the honing tool.

  • Patent number: 7401982
Abstract: A bearing includes an inner race having a rotational axis and an outer race sharing the rotational axis of the inner race. Rolling bearing members are constrained between the inner race and the outer race. A retention lip is provided which is adapted to maintain a peripheral opening of a constant gauge distance between and prevent relative axial movement of the inner race and the outer race. The gauge distance of the peripheral opening is adapted to allow free passage of the rolling bearing members, upon wear on the rolling bearing members reaches a predetermined level. The bearing provides a pass or fail indication, by falling apart when the rolling bearing members have exceeded the predetermined level of wear.

  • Patent number: 7395730
Abstract: A control procedure for an automatic transmission, wherein, via a gear range shifter, a change of the gear range both between the forward travel gear range and the reverse travel gear range and between a fast gear mode and a creeper gear mode can be put into action. A control apparatus selects a transmission gear to be engaged, dependent on data, input by an operator with the aid of a gear range shifter for the manual choice of a driving gear area, whereby the gear range shifter possesses at least a D-shifting position for the selection of a forward travel gear range, an N-position for the selection of an idle running position of the automatic transmission and an R-position for the selection of a reverse travel gear range, and that the automatic transmission can be driven in a fast gear mode as well as in a creeper gear mode.

  • Patent number: 7395728
Abstract: A multi-geared high-low clutch for construction machines and telescopic handlers, with a torque converter, a drive shaft, an output shaft and several jack shafts, with distributed idlers on the shafts, fixed wheels and shift clutches, which form several reduction gear units for the gearshift and direction circuit, containing six forward gears and three reverse gears, whereby output shaft is also used as a jack shaft for a gear, with which the corresponding jack shaft of forward gear unit and the corresponding jack shaft of a further forward gear unit engages with drive shaft. Both jack shafts can be rotated around drive shaft, where corresponding jack shafts of the gears, applied to drive shaft, are arranged one behind the other on a side of the drive shaft and where the corresponding jack shafts of the further gears, can currently be rotated around the next jack shaft.

  • Patent number: 7396309
Abstract: A split power transmission with a variable drive, a brake, a clutch, an integrating transmission containing a planetary set, the internal gear forming the output of the transmission, and an additional planetary set located between the drive shaft and the transmission. A portion of the transmission drive shaft power is transferable to the transmission which includes a secondary shaft located axially parallel to the variable drive. The power of the variable drive is directed towards the integrating transmission via the secondary shaft by using a defined transmission ratio. Torque division in the low cruising range and is achieved by locking the brake connecting the internal gear of the planetary set located between the drive shaft, and the transmission to the unit. Whereas in the high cruising range, by engaging the clutch the sun gear of the transmission is interlocked with the internal gear of the transmission.

  • Patent number: 7387281
Abstract: A clamp to be surface mounted on a printed circuit board with a clamp groove into which an optical fiber is inserted. A flexible synthetic resin member is deformed by applying a pressing force so as to narrow the width of the clamp groove. The deformation causes an opening of the clamp to be closed, and opposing shape preservation members with the clamp groove located therebetween to be deformed so as to shorten the distance between top ends of the shape preservation members. A metal plate member with no spring properties remains deformed even after the pressing force is released, and the flexible synthetic resin member also remains deformed. An optical fiber pinched by inner wall surfaces of the clamp groove is unlikely to be displaced either in an axial direction or in a radial direction.
