Abstract: A bore honing device comprising a support assembly including first and second end support elements connected by a base support which supports an axial guide track. A trolley engaging with the guide track and the trolley being movable along the guide track for guide movement of a bore honing tool supported by the trolley. At least one adjustable guide is provided for limiting travel of the trolley along the guide track. A weight compensation mechanism is connected between the trolley and a desired end wall of the support assembly for exerting a force on the support assembly when a bore honing device is vertically oriented to compensate for the weight of the drive motor, the trolley and the honing tool.
Abstract: A bearing includes an inner race having a rotational axis and an outer race sharing the rotational axis of the inner race. Rolling bearing members are constrained between the inner race and the outer race. A retention lip is provided which is adapted to maintain a peripheral opening of a constant gauge distance between and prevent relative axial movement of the inner race and the outer race. The gauge distance of the peripheral opening is adapted to allow free passage of the rolling bearing members, upon wear on the rolling bearing members reaches a predetermined level. The bearing provides a pass or fail indication, by falling apart when the rolling bearing members have exceeded the predetermined level of wear.
Abstract: A combination golf and dice game for a golf foursome comprising a first die and a second dice. The first die has different indica defining specified pairings of the foursome while the second die has different indicia defining at least one of a skill challenge(s) and scoring rules for the game. A player rolls the pair of dice to obtain both the specified pairing of the foursome being dictated by the first die such that a first team competes against a second team under one of the specified skill challenges and scoring rules of the game dictated by the second dice. A method of playing the game for a golf foursome is also disclosed.
Abstract: A method and a device with which disturbing vibrations are diminished at least in the height of their amplitude. A control and regulating device (24) and suitable sensors (34, 36, 41) activate a device (7, 11, 15, 23, 29, 30) when previously established limiting values are exceeded with regard to procedure, with which components of the motor vehicle are influenced such that the disturbing vibrations are damped or compensated.

Abstract: This invention concerns a device (1) for the determination of air content, the air separation behavior and the surface foam formation of oils, in particular of transmission oils with an air-oil mixer (2) and a differential pressures sensor (3). A conveyor system (4) transports the oil through pipe lines (5) of the air-oil mixer (2). A compressed air port (6) is provided, which transports air into the pipe lines (5), of the air-oil mixer (2). A Venturi pipe (9) is installed in one of the pipe lines (5), and the differential pressure sensor (3) records, through at least two separate drill tubes (7, 8) in the conveyor system of the oil at the Venturi pipe (9), differential pressures in the oil.
Abstract: A control procedure for an automatic transmission, wherein, via a gear range shifter, a change of the gear range both between the forward travel gear range and the reverse travel gear range and between a fast gear mode and a creeper gear mode can be put into action. A control apparatus selects a transmission gear to be engaged, dependent on data, input by an operator with the aid of a gear range shifter for the manual choice of a driving gear area, whereby the gear range shifter possesses at least a D-shifting position for the selection of a forward travel gear range, an N-position for the selection of an idle running position of the automatic transmission and an R-position for the selection of a reverse travel gear range, and that the automatic transmission can be driven in a fast gear mode as well as in a creeper gear mode.

Abstract: A multi-geared high-low clutch for construction machines and telescopic handlers, with a torque converter, a drive shaft, an output shaft and several jack shafts, with distributed idlers on the shafts, fixed wheels and shift clutches, which form several reduction gear units for the gearshift and direction circuit, containing six forward gears and three reverse gears, whereby output shaft is also used as a jack shaft for a gear, with which the corresponding jack shaft of forward gear unit and the corresponding jack shaft of a further forward gear unit engages with drive shaft. Both jack shafts can be rotated around drive shaft, where corresponding jack shafts of the gears, applied to drive shaft, are arranged one behind the other on a side of the drive shaft and where the corresponding jack shafts of the further gears, can currently be rotated around the next jack shaft.
Abstract: A split power transmission with a variable drive, a brake, a clutch, an integrating transmission containing a planetary set, the internal gear forming the output of the transmission, and an additional planetary set located between the drive shaft and the transmission. A portion of the transmission drive shaft power is transferable to the transmission which includes a secondary shaft located axially parallel to the variable drive. The power of the variable drive is directed towards the integrating transmission via the secondary shaft by using a defined transmission ratio. Torque division in the low cruising range and is achieved by locking the brake connecting the internal gear of the planetary set located between the drive shaft, and the transmission to the unit. Whereas in the high cruising range, by engaging the clutch the sun gear of the transmission is interlocked with the internal gear of the transmission.

Abstract: A device and a method for determining the position of a gear shift element 1 in a claw clutch operated automated gear box of a vehicle. The gear shift element 1 has gear teeth that correspond to at least two gear wheels 5, 8 which have a different axial extension on both sides of a groove 9. The position of the gear shift element 1 can be determined by way of the method according to the invention.
Abstract: Modular structural components and structural connections including chords and forming strips. Each chord has a generally elongated square main body of four main walls surrounding a central bore and having a T-slot structure adapted to accept a bolt type fastener extending along each exterior main surface. Each forming strip is an elongated plate formed into strip segments oriented at right angles to each other and forming a W-shaped corner region, a face region with a bolt hole and an attachment region, each region forming a mating bearing surface with a surface of a chord.
Abstract: A clamp to be surface mounted on a printed circuit board with a clamp groove into which an optical fiber is inserted. A flexible synthetic resin member is deformed by applying a pressing force so as to narrow the width of the clamp groove. The deformation causes an opening of the clamp to be closed, and opposing shape preservation members with the clamp groove located therebetween to be deformed so as to shorten the distance between top ends of the shape preservation members. A metal plate member with no spring properties remains deformed even after the pressing force is released, and the flexible synthetic resin member also remains deformed. An optical fiber pinched by inner wall surfaces of the clamp groove is unlikely to be displaced either in an axial direction or in a radial direction.
Abstract: A cleaning and scouring brush generally made from a pair of twisted wire arms, each arm having a cleaning portion shaped to conform to the interior profile of an article to be cleaned. The portions are provided with a cleaning or scouring device such as a sponge, scrubber or bristles intended to clean or scour the interior surface of the article to be cleaned. The brush is also provided with a handle which rotates the cleaning portions with respect to one another about an axis in order to facilitate the entry and removal of the device from the article to be cleaned which generally has a relatively small opening into a relatively large interior volume.
Abstract: Disclosed is a planetary gear train (8) comprising an internal gear (24), a sun gear (52), a planet carrier (10) which is provided with planet shafts (18) and on which at least one planetary gear (20) is mounted, and a shifting device with a sliding sleeve (66). Said shifting device allows for a direct connection between a shaft (44) driving the planetary gear train (8) and an output shaft (12) of the planetary gear train (8) in one shifting position while making it possible to modify the rotational speed between the driving shaft (44) and the output shaft (12) of the planetary gear train (8) in another shifting position. The planet shaft (18) is disposed inside the planet carrier (10) so as to be rotatable within a bearing (22, 80).
