    Abstract: A lead-free composition capable of being applied as a film and hardening to form a protective layer on the back of a mirror comprises a fluid organic resin and a corrosion inhibitor selected from the group consisting of dicyandiamide, metal or acid salts of dicyandiamide, hydrogen cyanamide, and 2-cyanoacetamide. The organic resin may be any thermoplastic or thermosetting resin suitable for coating the reflective and other metallic layers of the mirror. Exemplary resins include alkyd resins, acrylic resin, modified alkyd resins, polyesters, urethane oils, vinyl halide polymers or copolymers, oleoresinous varnishes, nitrocellulose compositions, phenol-formaldehyde resin varnishes, and epoxy resins. Preferably, the resin is an alkyd or modified alkyd resin. The aforementioned corrosion inhibitor may be present in an amount from about 0.1 to 20 weight percent, preferably 0.5 to 10 weight percent, of the organic resin coating system. The resin system should be essentially free of lead and lead salts.

The drill adapter opening has a depth greater than the length of the flat sides of the drill for receiving the drill shank end portion.     Abstract: A quick assembly attachment mechanism comprising an elongated stud member having two notches formed in its surface and a receiving member that non-rotatably engages the stud member and includes at least two bendable tabs that are bent into the notches to lock the stud against longitudinal motion. The receiving member includes access openings to permit the tabs to be bend back out of the notches so that the stud may be removed. The attachment mechanism is particularly suited for use in connecting steel components such as steel hinges to steel doors.

    Abstract: A woman's bodysuit for exercising or swimming comprises an outer covering for encasing at least a portion of a woman's torso, including the bust, abdomen, hips and rear regions. The covering extends below the arms and around at least a portion of the back and includes shoulder straps forming openings for the neck and arms. A bra portion is provided beneath the outer covering, the bra portion including a full bra liner covering the breasts and a separate partial bra liner beneath the full liner supporting the undersides and sides of the breasts. The full and partial bra liners are each secured along common edges to the outer covering centrally between the shoulder straps at the neck opening and on either side at the arm openings. An elastic strap is secured along a bottom edge of the bra portion and is secured to the outer covering in the region behind or below the arms. The outer covering, full bra liner and partial bra liner are made of stretchable natural or synthetic fabrics, or blends thereof.

A handle is provided for moving the piston and the pump cylinder relative to one another to pump a gas into or out of the food or drink container. The pump chamber is connected to the valve stopper via a first opening when the pump head is sealed to the valve stopper and to the atmosphere via a second opening through a combination pressure and vacuum valve, the combination valve being switchable from a vacuum position to a pressure position.A combination pressure and vacuum valve stopper is also shown which includes a valve element reversible between a pressure position and a vacuum position to convert the stopper between pressure and vacuum use.

    Abstract: A temperature controlled soldering iron with a heating element having a positive temperature coefficient arranged as one leg of a Wheatstone resistance bridge such that the voltage across the heating element signals the temperature of the soldering iron. A comparator is connected across opposite nodes of the bridge and turns off a switching element to cut current flow through the bridge when the heating element is above the desired temperature. A pulse generator continuously supplies pulses to briefly restart current flow through the bridge and allow the temperature to be sensed. The pulses are short duration and occur regardless of whether the comparator has previously turned off current flow, and independent of the temperature of the heating element. After each pulse the comparator controls current flow by leaving the flow on or turning it off according to the temperature of the heating element as measured by comparison of the voltages on the opposite nodes of the bridge.

    Abstract: A heat exchanger assembly comprises a pair of header members and a plurality of heat transfer tubes passing between the headers members. The heat transfer tubes are adapted to transfer heat between fins on the exterior of the tubes and a working fluid in liquid or gaseous phase within the tubes. A pressure drop minimizing tube passes between the headers and has a cross sectional area significantly larger than the heat transfer tubes. The pressure drop minimizing tube is adapted to carry the working fluid in a gaseous phase either as an inlet, when the heat transfer assembly is utilized as a condenser, or as an outlet, when the heat transfer assembly is utilized as an evaporator. A member connects the pressure drop minimizing tube at one end to at least two of the heat transfer tubes for condensation to a liquid, when the assembly is utilized as a condenser, or transferring gaseous working fluid from the heat transfer tubes to the pressure drop minimizing tubes, when the assembly is utilized as an evaporator.
