  • Patent number: 6402437
Abstract: Process for conveyance of a powder material in a hyperdense bed to bypass an obstacle, in which an obstacle bypass device including at least upstream, intermediate and downstream caissons is inserted between two horizontal conveyors, an upstream conveyor, and the downstream conveyor. At a device entry, at the upstream caisson lower duct is supplied with gas at pressure P1, the upstream caisson further including an upper duct which is a column. The intermediate caisson is between the upstream caisson and the downstream caisson at a level that bypasses the obstacle, a lower duct of which is fed with gas at pressure P3 and an upper duct of which is connected to the upper duct of the upstream caisson and to an upper duct of the downstream caisson. At a device outlet, at the downstream caisson, a lower duct is supplied with gas at pressure P2. The three caissons remain full of powder material kept in a potential fluidization state at all times, with a pressure difference P1−P2 being kept strictly positive.

  • Patent number: 6401984
Abstract: The present invention concerns a container of the type made up of a receptacle (2) hermetically containing a product (3) in a liquid, gas or pasty state to be distributed, an end piece (4) for distributing the product (3) and means for protecting the distribution end piece (4). The means for protecting the distributor end piece (4) are made up of a sleeve (8) able to slide freely on said end piece (4) by means of activation means (9A, 9A′, 9B, 9B′) belonging to it so that said sleeve (8) automatically ensures protection by covering the end piece (4) when the container (1) is placed, or on the other hand freeing it under solely the effect of the inertia of the sub-unit (8-9-11).

  • Patent number: 6400151
Abstract: In order to acquire data for an image representation which shows the spatial distribution of the magnetic resonance behavior of an object within a selected localized region, the relevant localized region is arranged in a stationary magnetic field and is subjected to a sequence of high frequency pulses and pulses of magnetic field gradients in different spatial directions, such that a succession of magnetic resonance signals appears. These signals are read out by scanning under the influence of a read gradient and are used as sets of data for the filling of the K-space. In accordance with the invention, at least two different sequences of high frequency pulses and magnetic field gradient pulses are used, which differ in at least one of the features of the signal creation responsible for different aspects of the image quality. These sequences are executed one after another in time, with the magnetic resonance signals read out for the different sequences being collated in different bands of the K-space.
