  • Patent number: 6769157
Abstract: A seat belt buckle guard device is provided for preventing access to a release button on a seat belt. The device comprises a sleeve structured to fit over a variety of shapes and sizes of seat belt buckles. The sleeve comprises a front face and a top face that are capable of covering the front portion of a variety of seat belt buckles. The sleeve is made of sufficiently rigid material to prevent indentation of the faces and thereby prevent contact with both front and top belt buckle release button. The sleeve further comprising a split back face, which enables the sleeve to expand to fit over the variety of seat belt buckles. A top arm extending from the sleeve engages the scat belt strap with a tight friction fit to resist removal of the sleeve.

  • Patent number: 6739661
Abstract: A child safety seat pivots between a sitting and reclining position on a base secured by a vehicle safety belt. A pair of pivot arms extending from each side of the safety seat slide in a pair of grooves in each side of the base. The primary pivot arm moves in an essentially horizontal groove to maintain a low center of gravity. A secondary pivot arm stabilizes the safety seat and helps to maintain the safety seat back in close proximity with the vehicle seat back. A high pivot arm near the top of each side of the seat may be positioned in a mating opening or a slotted opening in each side of the base. A motor and reversible drive assembly, which may be remotely controlled can be used to move the safety seat.

  • Patent number: 6726265
Abstract: A disc retriever for disc golf is attached to a rope or cord which can be thrown varying distances to enable retrieval of a golf disc from variously sized water hazards or other difficult to access locations. The golf disc retriever is comprised of a rectangular flat wire frame, which has an opening large enough to admit and retain a golf disc, two pivoting arms which will fold into the rectangle frame and pivot forward to form lead arms interconnected by a long pull rope or cord used to pull the golf disc through a water hazard with the frame upright. The arms can be folded flat in line with the frame and the rope can then be easily and rapidly wound around the folded disc retriever frame in order to fit into a pocket of a golf disc bag or any other kind of carrying sack.

  • Patent number: 6722721
Abstract: A fold up ramp assists the loading and unloading of equipment and people onto and off of the bed of a pickup truck. Four individual panels are configured with a unique folding pattern that allows two of the panels to fold into two of the other panels, or nest, to form the tailgate on a pickup truck. The folded and nested panel tailgate is exactly the same size as a standard pickup truck tailgate, varying according to vehicle make and model, and utilizes the same latching mechanism. The ramp panels are fabricated of rectangular metal tubing frames having a metal meshing topside. The panels are interconnected by piano hinges fastened to the underside shared edges between the panels and running the full length of the edge to increase stability and strength.

  • Patent number: 6701829
Abstract: Two steel plates with perforations in both sheets have narrow bent edges which overlap when the two plates are placed together to for a rapid smoker with approximately ¾ inch between the plates. A layer of wood chips is placed in the rapid smoker and the smoker placed directly on the heating source of any type of grill. The wood catches fire quickly through the bottom perforations and sends smoke through the top perforations. The perforation are configured in the top and bottom steel plates in such a way as to accomplish rapid ignition of wood producing smoke and control of the burning/smoking process. This process produces two cooking zones and adds additional favor to the cooked food.

  • Patent number: 6701964
Abstract: A vortex generating fuel saving device is installed on the air intake hose to a fuel injector. An airfoil body creates a spiral vortex of air spiraling off of its outer edge, thereby increasing the air in the fuel-air mixture to the fuel injectors. The airfoil body is mounted on the forward rim of the air intake hose by a clip, and is positioned inside of the hose with the edge of the airfoil in the center of the hose. The airfoil creates a spiral vortex, which is in concentric relation to the interior of the hose, thereby allowing maximum mixture of air in the fuel-air mixture. The airfoil is capable of being adjusted in width so that the outer edge of the airfoil blade is positioned in the center of any of a variety of sizes of fuel injector air intake hoses.

  • Patent number: 6684760
Abstract: A baking pan bottom has a recessed stepped edge all around the periphery and an internal rod around the entire pan to act as a pivot pin hinge on all four sides. The side panels and end panels of the pan are provided with a mating protruding step along a bottom edge to mate with the recessed stepped edge of the bottom to prevent leakage. The hinge enables each side panel and end panel to pivot down for access to the baked goods and pivot back up for cooking. A sliding lock mechanism in the end panels has hooks that engage loops in the overlapping extending end portions of the side panels to lock the side panels in place for cooking. The baking pan has an additional flat baking sheet, which fits on the pan bottom. The interior surfaces comprise a non-stick scratch resistant surface, which is dishwasher safe.
