  • Patent number: 5030931
Abstract: A flexible laminated delay line assembly formed to include a plurality of patterned regions which may be folded into sandwiched relation to one another without affecting electrical continuity. The transmission line layer is laminated between successively adjacent dielectric and ground plane layers. Windows cut into the ground plane and dielectric layers facilitate folding and decoupling of a support spine, folding of the conductor sections and sizing of the assembly. In one construction, the dielectric layers comprise a flexible insulative substrate laminated between upper and lower thermoset layers. In another construction the dielectric layers comprise a polyetherimide that is melt flowed about the pathways of the transmission line.

  • Patent number: 4999772
Abstract: A portable sleep monitoring system for recording on tape, transcribing and charting a plurality of physiologic data channels recorded relative to a known constant, user-transparent time base. Selected ECG, air flow, impedance and pulse oximetry sensor inputs are recorded under microprocessor control relative to a crystal controlled 40 Hz signal modulated with the physiologic data from one of the sensors. Upon reading the physiologic data from tape and/or charting, the collected data is displayed with the time base, normalized to the known crystal controlled timing signal. In the heart rate mode, QRS occurences are displayed on the heart rate trace line as singular hash marks. The presence of motion at the pulse O2 sensor is indicated by multiplexing high frequency hash markings onto the O2 saturation trace line. Calibration levels relating to four different O2 saturation percent vales are periodically written to tape for reference during tape reading.

  • Patent number: 4971201
Abstract: A nesting rim member mountable in circumscribing composite relation to the stacking end of a walled container. The rim includes an outer vertical flange portion which tapers inward from an upper edge to a nesting ledge. An inverted U-shaped channel portion beneath the nesting ledge extends over the container sidewalls which are recessed at their corners to receive pronged corner clips, if necessary. Each clip mates with the rim member when pressed onto the container walls. A U-shaped channel orthogonally projects inward of the container. The rim member may be extruded and pieced to the container walls or molded as a continuous ring.
