Abstract: A method and system for facilitating a transaction between a merchant and the customer comprising a merchant computer server utilizing a memory containing a database of transaction relevant customer information including customer postal information to provide such information in the form of a customized communication at the point-of-contact between a merchant and the customer is provided. Customer identification information is used to store an anonymous identification tag on the customer computer, the tag providing an address to a segment of the database of transaction relevant customer information. The anonymous tag on the customer computer is accessed by the merchant computer when the customer computer contacts the merchant computer. An embodiment for a syndicate of merchants and a shared system server having a memory of transaction relevant customer information also is provided.

Abstract: According to at least one of the disclosed embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a vision therapy system and method which relates to the viewing of differently colored images through a pair of differently colored lenses for the eyes of the user, where at least one of the colored images has associated therewith a gray image to help conceal from view a selected portion or all of a selected image when viewed through the lenses.

Abstract: According to the disclosed embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a device and method for setting a golf ball and tee, including a ball and tee receiving member disposed at the bottom end portion of a shaft. A ball engageable member is disposed at the lower end portion of the shaft for pressing the ball against the tee when the ball is received by the receiving member. The receiving member has a lower tee engageable member having a shallow slot opening extending radially in a direction to receive the tee within the slot. A hand engageable lever actuator extends radially from the upper end portion of the shaft in an opposite direction to the opening of the slot for actuating the movable ball engageable member to cause it to move away from the ball.

Abstract: According to at least one of the disclosed embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a diagnostic assembly for use with computers, computer components, computer systems or networks, and includes a pair of side panels, each having mounting means or device for engaging a support member or bracket. In one embodiment, the portable diagnostic assembly further includes a horizontal support plate engaging portions of each of the side panels. A diagnostic module is disposed or mounted on the horizontal support plate and is adapted to communicate with at least one of a computer, computer component, computer system and network to be diagnosed.

Abstract: According to the disclosed embodiments of the invention, there is provided a method of supplying electrical power to a series of upright computer blades mounted side-by-side in a closely spaced configuration, including extending an elongated power distribution unit transversely to the upright blades, and electrically interconnecting the upright blades with a series of electrical connectors arranged side-by-side on one side of the distribution unit. In one embodiment of the invention, a second series of electrical connectors are arranged side-by-side on the opposite side of the body of the power distribution unit.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments of the present invention improve the method and apparatus for producing multi-color changeable patterns of multi-colored lights, by using an intelligent circuit to create the drive signals. According to certain disclosed embodiments of the invention, the appearance of the light patterns are changed automatically or in response to external influences.

Abstract: In accordance with a disclosed embodiment of the present invention, a sewer line assembly for a vehicle, such as a recreational vehicle or the like, having a sewer line outlet, includes a housing mounted on the vehicle, and a sewer discharge line mounted in axial alignment with the housing in-fluid communication with the vehicle sewer outlet. The sewer line contracts axially to a short storage configuration to be supported at least partially within the housing. The line expands axially to a long sewage-conveying use configuration. A discharge nozzle connected in fluid communication with the discharge end of the sewer line couples to a remotely located sewer inlet.
