Abstract: A method and system for capturing emotional preference of human subjects, generating machine-readable emotional code and using the code to optimize computerized searching and matching operations between entities is disclosed. The entity can be a human user, a product, or a service. The emotional code can thus be a universal language expressing human emotion that communicates among entities. After understanding the sending parties' emotional profile, the receiving party can adapt its operation to achieve more optimum results.
Abstract: This invention relates to a novel soy isoflavone product with high purities and strong biological activities and the method of producing the same from natural soybeans, soybean materials (i.e. tofu dregs, soy molasses) and other plant sources. The method includes three steps consisting of extraction with an organic solvent, hydrolysis using an acid and crystallization using an antisolvent. The procedure is very simple and thus can be easily adapted for large-scale manufacturing. Moreover, the procedure is able to produce a high yield of total isoflavones at a lower cost. HPLC analysis and E-Screen bioassay reveal that the obtained product not only contains a high content of isoflavone aglycones by weight of dry matter but also exhibits strong estrogenic activity toward human cells. Therefore, the product should be efficacious for relieving menopausal symptoms and other estrogen-deficient diseases and can be used in health care supplements or as additives for foods, beverages or cosmetics.

Abstract: The present invention is a computer system that analyses the factual and behavioural data of a group of subjects, extracts the common behavioural patterns from the collection, and is capable of forecasting the behaviour of a new subject when his or her factual data are inputted to the system. It does so by first taking a collection of both the factual data and behavioural data from a group of subjects. A clustering engine is employed to compute a set of exemplars that concisely represent the population. Afterwards, the factual data of a subject, and the corresponding behavioural exemplar that he or she belongs, are fed to a learning module so that it can learn the mapping between the subject's factual data and behavioural exemplar. After learning, the system is able to predict the behaviour patterns when factual data of a new subject is presented.
