Abstract: A cartridge dust collector for maximizing the filtration of the air and removal of the pollutants and contaminants from the air stream. The cartridge dust collector including a housing having an air inlet, an air outlet, and a transverse wall. The housing further including a chamber. Conical shaped dust collector cartridges are mounted in the chamber between the air inlet and the air outlet with each dust collector cartridge in alignment with an access opening in a side wall of the housing. Provided in the housing in alignment with each access opening are spaced apart slide rails. The dust collector cartridges including a conical shaped media pack and a head plate secured to the upper end. Each head plate is carried on the slide rails, with the slide rails being spaced apart sufficiently to receive the media pack there between. Interlocking means are privide on adjacent head plates fo that the cartridges can be assembled and removed from the housing end groups, rather than individually.

Abstract: An apparatus that mounts on a rim of a vehicle wheel on which a tire may be mounted. The apparatus includes a high pressure reservoir for receiving and storing compressed air from an outside source, a first mechanical valve that permits compressed air from an outside source to be directed into and stored in the high pressure reservoir, a second mechanical valve that directs air from the high pressure reservoir into the air chamber of a tire, a third mechanical valve that releases air from the air chamber of the tire, and a fourth mechanical valve that releases air from the high pressure reservoir.

Abstract: A safety ruler and guide used with a rotary cutter or the cutting tool for cutting fabric, the ruler designed to protect a user's first hand when holding the ruler on top of the fabric while the second hand is cutting the fabric with the cutting tool. The ruler has a vertical guard mounted exactly upright to a base guide, dividing the base equally into a first side and a second side. Each first side and second side display grids, ruler measurements and measuring scale to enable a right or left handed user to properly read and measure length and width of the fabric being cut. The first side and second side also include a ruler edge for measuring the length of fabric being cut, and serving as a guide and cutting edge for the rotary cutter. The user may then cut the fabric using the cutting tool without the cutting tool or fabric moving during cutting. In the event the cutting tool slips while cutting, the hand holding and applying pressure to the ruler is protected by the vertical guard.

The drive rotates the shaft assembly which rotates the at least one (1) pad which is capable of scouring a pot surface held against the rotating pad.

Abstract: An alert system for providing an alert of an actual or impending emergency to homes, businesses and the like. The alert system is used in cable system network over which communication signals are transmitted to a receiver remote from the transmitter. Such communication signals have associated therewith at least one distinguishable modulation frequency. The alert system includes a mechanism for receiving an alert request and a transmitter for transmitting an alert signal in response to the alert request. The transmitter is coupled with the cable system and generates an alert signal which is modulated at a frequency distinguishable from the frequencies of the communication signals. The transmitter includes a sideband filter to reduce the subharmonics generated around the alert signal frequency. The receiver includes a mechanism for detecting a valid alert signal from the alert signal received and for generating an alarm signal therefrom.
