Abstract: Laser marking compositions, articles of manufacture using same and methods of preparing said articles and compositions are disclosed which comprise a polymer including a cyclopentanone compound which is thermally stable at temperatures required to melt process polymers, but which will eliminate water when subjected to an excimer laser to form a visible mark comprising a cyclopentadienone.
Abstract: A two port cartridge valve comprises a valve sleeve with a two-step guide hole, a valve piston, which forms a closing element for a valve seat, and a piston shoulder, which divides the second step of the guide hole axially into an end-side first control chamber and an annular second control chamber. An auxiliary piston is fitted in an inner guide hole of the piston shoulder. The cross-section A.sub.s of the inner guide hole is the same size as or larger than the cross-section A.sub.c of the first step sealed by the valve piston. The piston shoulder forms an annular pressure area A.sub.X in the first control chamber. A connecting hole connects the inner guide hole to an orifice in the end face of the valve piston. The valve is used to achieve by means of the pressure to be shut off a hermetic shut-off function. It can be hydraulically locked and unlocked by a pilot valve.
Abstract: A method for forming accurate micro patterns having a micro dimension smaller than the resolution of a stepper used on a semiconductor substrate, thereby achieving an improvement in the integration degree of the semiconductor device which is ultimately produced.
Abstract: An input buffer of memory device for reducing current consumption in standby mode comprising a bus input buffer for inputting successive bus data signals through a bus and buffering the inputted bus data signals, and a flag buffer for generating a control signal in response to a system clock signal and a flag signal indicative of a bus data input time point to operate the bus input buffer before a first one of the bus data signals arrives at the bus input buffer and to allow the bus input buffer to enter a standby mode at once after the bus data signal input is completed, the flag signal being enabled before the first bus data signal is inputted and disabled before the bus data signal input is completed. According to the present invention, signal increase can be suppressed and power consumption can be reduced.
Abstract: There is disclosed a bidirectional data input/output circuit of a synchronous memory device and the method for controlling the same according to the present invention. The synchronous memory device according to the present invention is aimed at solving a data confusion problem generated when a write operation subsequent to a data read operation is performed in a data input/output line. Though the data line is a bidirectional bus data line by which an input/output is also performed, it can be applied to a circuit construction in which high and low potential data are inputted/outputted through an independent dedicated line. In addition, there is provided an internal buffer for inputting a write data into the memory device.
Abstract: A phase shift mask capable of forming contact holes having a micro dimension smaller than the wavelength of exposure light while being spaced at small intervals. The phase shift mask includes a quartz substrate, a chromium pattern formed on the quartz substrate along a peripheral edge of the quartz substrate, and a plurality of uniformly spaced phase shift layer patterns formed on a portion of the quartz substrate not covered with the chromium pattern, each of the phase shift layer patterns having a desired size. Each of the phase shift layer patterns has a line width larger than the wavelength of a light source used in a light exposure procedure.
Abstract: A pilot controlled servo-valve has four main flow connections, an axially sliding main control piston with four control edges and a front restoring spring that defines a spring-centered middle position of the main control piston. A control sleeve has ring shaped openings for the first, second and third main flow connections and a front opening for the fourth main flow connection. A first front face of the main control piston is axially opposed to the front opening. A pressure compensation surface is formed by the second front face of the main control piston in a spring chamber. The main control piston applies the pressure in the fourth main flow connection on said pressure compensating surface through a pressure relief channel. A traverse bore connects said pressure relief channel to an auxiliary connection chamber connected to the third main flow connection by the forth control edge.

Abstract: A method for forming wells of a semiconductor device which involves the formation of an additional ion implanted layer and a double rapid thermal annealing for a short period of time, thereby completely removing defects while maintaining a constant resistance in the silicon layer of the semiconductor device. The method includes the steps of providing a semiconductor substrate, sequentially implanting impurity ions in the semiconductor substrate four times, thereby sequentially forming an ion implanted layer adapted to form a well, an additional ion implanted layer, a channel stop ion implanted layer and an ion implanted layer adapted to control a threshold voltage in the semiconductor substrate, and conducting a rapid thermal annealing for the resulting structure for a short period of time in two steps.
