    Abstract: A sled having a ski as a main runner and a pair of side or outrigger skis for stability. An arched tubular frame located fore and aft connects cross-wise the main runner to each of the side runners and supports a wooden deck at the top. A pair of arched struts connect the fore and aft frame. The side runners are provided with a pivot for tilt stability and a height adjustment for varying snow conditions. To maintain the rider on the sled the deck may be provided with a Velcro covering to stick to a Velcro band or apron worn by the rider.

    Abstract: An adapter for use with circular saws to provide a ready cut-off or "chop saw" capability. The adapter is comprised of a flat base having adjustable jaws for gripping of bar stock. Hinged to the flat base is a clamping plate for clamping a circular saw to support it in an arc-like movement from a rest position to an operative cut-off position. The clamping plate has a deep groove receiving a base of the circular saw which may be readily clamped therein.

    Abstract: An adjustable jig for elevating plasterboard. The jig comprises a frame for supporting a rack which holds the plasterboard. Three telescopic members are supported by the frame and are individually adjustable to elevate the rack at a desired angular relation to fit uneven or angled ceilings. One of the telescopic members is provided with a hinged toggle operator whereby one side of the rack may be substantially lowered from the other side of the rack for easy loading of the plasterboard or for performing work upon the plasterboard before it is elevated. The toggle operator is easily moveable from a collapsed to an erect position to move the rack toward a lift position where the telescopic members may be adjusted by a workman as desired. The support frame has a base supporting the telescopic members and may be easily moved along a floor to any desired work position.

    Abstract: An integrated soap bar and brush. The brush constitutes one side of the integrated assembly while the bar of soap is supported on a top side of the brush to provide a reversible soap bar or brush. The soap bar is molded in situ around a specially constructed ribbed insert having a floor plate or base which can be readily affixed to the top side of the brush. The ribbed insert supports the soap bar during shrinkage to prevent removal until substantially used up. After such use-up, the insert may be used as a handle or it may be removed and the brush may be used alone.

    Abstract: A support blade with a replaceable cutter for rotary lawn mowers. The support blade has a recess at a top portion adjacent each end which receives a replaceable cutter element. The cutter has a body portion which fits snugly in the recess and a laterally extending cutter element which has a front knife edge for cutting and a rear portion which abutts against the blade support in such a fashion that thrust of the cutter is distributed against the blade support and the back of the recess. Protection against damage by foreign objects is provided by connecting the cutter to the top of the blade support by Allen screws fitting into tapped holes in the blade support.

    Abstract: A portable gas forge. The forge is comprised of a housing having an insulated interior and an opening for insertion of the article to be heated such as a horseshoe or the like. The forge is resistant to blow-out by wind when used in the field and has a specially designed burner connected to the top of the housing. The burner is connected to a source of gas such as an LP gas cylinder. A gas orifice is connected to an enlarged burner pipe having a bell-shaped primary air inlet adjacent the gas orifice. A source of secondary air is located at the exterior pipe connection to the housing to provide an annular air passage through the housing to the burner outlet to obtain maximum flame concentration in the housing and inhibit burn back or back flaming. An internal restrictor adjacent the burner pipe outlet is employed to increase the burner gas velocity and aid in secondary air aspiration and combustion efficiency.

    Abstract: A nursing blouse to provide breast concealment during nursing. The blouse has a front portion provided with an elongated opening adapted to expose the breast for nursing. A concealment flap or ruffle is connected to the blouse which extends along the opening and is of a sufficient width to extend over the opening to cover and conceal the breast while the infant is nursing. A zipper or slide fastener is provided to open and close the opening. By connection of the zipper strip to the underside of the blouse alongside the opening the blouse may be closed to butt the edges of the blouse along the opening to give the appearance of a seam or the like and conceal the zipper.

    Abstract: A protective cover for waterfowl callers such as duck and goose callers. A cover is of rubber or the like and is in the form of a tube which is fitted in expanded condition over an interfitting mouthpiece and barrel of the caller in close frictional engagement to prevent the mouthpiece and barrel from being accidentally separated. The ends of the cover may be rolled back over an interfitting junction of the mouthpiece and barrel to accommodate the caller reed adjustment as desired. The mouthpiece end of the cover has a protective cap which can be pulled over an open end of the mouthpiece to protect it when not in use or folded back over the mouthpiece when in use. The barrel end of the cover may extend beyond the barrel end of the cover and closed to protect this end when not in use or rolled back over the barrel in use.

A tapered punch is employed with an adjustment at the muzzle end of the hammer which selectively limits the travel and penetration of the punch thereby determining the size of the hole. A special attachment for the tapered punch and a punch holder for the punch is provided for attachment to the muzzle end of the pneumatic hammer. The attachment is in the form of a housing which receives the punch and punch holder and can be screwed on the muzzle end of a pneumatic hammer and present the punch holder to the internal hammer like drive of a conventional pneumatic hammer.

The windshield wipe is comprised of a pneumatic cylinder supported on the wiper support frame. A reciprocable piston has an operating rod connected by a connecting head to the blade for quick connection. Push-pull single stroke operation of the wiper across the face of the mirror for reciprocal wiping action is provided by remote control valve means positioned inside the truck cab for control of pneumatic pressure provided through air lines connecting the cylinder with a standard source of pneumatic pressure.

The machine comprises a rotary marking wheel having marking characters upon the periphery of the wheel and an engraving tool or stylus. The engraving tool may be employed as part of the printing wheel or as a separate attachment providing one or more different types of engraving tool. The engraving tool may be employed for scratch engraving or rotary power may be used for a printed sharp edge cutting and engraving. A work surface such as a tag or the like is supported upon a worktable formed of an upper table member carried upon a lower table member. Separate motor means are provided for each of the table members for moving the upper table toward both the front and rear of the lower table laterally to provide a simultaneous X-Y movement.

The hopper comprises plates which may be removed for ready filling of the entire feeder for self-feeding purposes. The compartment has a dish shaped bottom and may receive a congruent feed dish in nesting relation.

    Abstract: A marking machine having a printing wheel with printing characters on the periphery of the wheel. Adjustment means are provided for adjusting the rotational position of the wheel with respect to a drive shaft comprising a drive train connecting the printing wheel to the drive shaft. The printing wheel is rotatable with respect to the drive shaft but may be fixed by an intermediate backing plate member which is keyed to the drive shaft. An adjustable eccentric rotatably connected to the printing wheel has an eccentric shaft element fitting in a slot in the backing member to provide rotable adjustment of the printing wheel with respect to the drive shaft. The printing wheel may be slipped on and off the shaft and is secured to the drive shaft by a hub-like handle member having a spring radially biased ball detent receivable within a groove on the end of the drive shaft to facilitate ready connection and removal of the printing wheel.

    Abstract: A utility trailer for vehicles having a tilt bed and vertical storing capability. The trailer has a tongue pivotally connected to the trailer to provide for three positions, namely, a hitch towing position, a tilted bed position and vertically storing position wherein the trailer is vertically positioned on end and the tongue is pivoted through an oblique angle to form a rigid tripod support. Automatic latch means are provided for locking the hitch and vertical storing positions. Removable stakes are provided for the bed with means for securing an internal liner and external cover. The stakes may be removed and stored in the vertical storing position between the wheel axle and the trailer bed.

    Abstract: A newspaper vending machine. The machine has a housing receiving a stack of newspapers which are secured and protected within the housing and which are dispensed consecutively in a secured manner without opening the machine. An operating handle is rotated and by linkage causes a newspaper gripping and feeding member to pivot in a cyclical and repetitious manner forwardly in a newspaper gripping and feeding operation and rearwardly in a retracting movement for consecutive vending operations. A gripping and feeding member is employed comprising a stiff toothed newspaper engaging element which can flex somewhat while engaging a newspaper adjacent the centerfold and slide it as a unit in the direction of the side fold. A lock comprised of a cam connected to a handle shaft is provided to lock the handle and feeding mechanism against operation until freed by operation of conventional coin acceptor mechanism.

    Abstract: A polyurethane spray nozzle for high pressure abrasive aqueous slurries of limestone and the like. The nozzle is comprised of a hollow body of urethane having a restricted inlet and outlet with internal vanes adjacent the inlet to provide a swirling motion to the slurry. The polyurethane construction is characterized by a high degree of abrasion resistance with a slick surface to inhibit solids build up and a degree of flexibility to inhibit clogging of the vanes by solid pieces of limestone. In a modification the body may be made in a first piece while the vanes may be inserted therein in a second integral piece held together by a ring. An outwardly extending flange which may be reinforced with a metallic member is provided for connection to a pipe line source for the slurry. The flange portion connected to the pipe line source may be constructed of a softer polyurethane than the remainder of the spray nozzle to enhance the flange sealing connection.

The pump comprises a housing anchored to the ground and connected to a grease source. Pump operating means comprise a rigid beam connected to the track rail at one end and to a pump operating rod at an opposite end. The operating rod is connected to a cap-like pressure member fitting over the housing and operable by the rail deflection movement to draw grease through inlet port means from the grease source and pump the grease through outlet port means to a track lubricator. Check valves are provided in the pump to control the grease flow.

The cabinets may be made of fiber glass with ledges to resiliently receive the phase change shelves for ready installation.     Abstract: A plastic worm fishing lure having a double action inner and outer skirt. The skirt is attached at the gland portion of the worm body by a tie binding and has a rearwardly extending inner skirt and a longer forwardly extending outer skirt which doubles back to the rear over the inner skirt as the lure is pulled through the water. The plastic worm body may be provided with a molded in-situ sealed buoyant sound chamber partially filled with shot which produces sound vibrations as the lure is moved through the water. The sound chamber is located at the head section of the worm body to provide buoyancy to lift the head end with respect to the tail end when the lure is immersed in the water.
