  • Patent number: 4144296
Abstract: A process for molding in situ a polystyrene foam structure with a relatively rigid thermoplastic sheet covering a portion of the surface of the polystyrene foam. The thermoplastic sheet is cut and folded into proper shape and a heat-activated adhesive applied to the inside surface. The folded sheet is inserted into the female cavity of a mold which is then closed. Expandable polystyrene is injected into the interior of the folded sheet and heated to expand the polystyrene against the sheet and the adhesive is heat-activated to bond the sheet and polystyrene.

  • Patent number: 4063771
Abstract: A bottle carrier with a body with a plurality of spaced means for receiving and retaining the enlarged neck-shoulders of bottles, and a bottle separator attached to the body by hinged legs in the same plane as the body so as to permit the extension of the legs to a position vertical to the body during the loading of bottles into the bottle carrier so that the bottle separator prevents contact between the body portions of bottles held in the carrier.

  • Patent number: 3972226
Abstract: A slit impact air sampler for collecting viable organisms in air borne particles at a controlled rate. The rotating platform upon which a collecting plate is positioned can be rotated at ten different speeds through a variable speed transmission. The height of the slit above the collecting plate can be adjusted while maintaining the slit in a radial position to the plate.
