Patent number: 4234234Abstract: The invention solves a problem of transferring the combine weight onto a veyor through a railing, instead of through a link chain. For the aforesaid purpose a slide skid is provided, at both sides, with riding wheels. During operation of the combine the riding wheels roll on a railing; the riding wheels are mounted in a slide skid on a cranked axle. The cranked axle is protected against turning by means of a cover provided with a splined hole fixed on a splined pin of the cranked axle. The cover is fixed to the slide skid by means of screws. The design of the present device prevents deformation and tightening of vertical links of a chain between a rack and a slide skid in case of fouling of the rack with fine coal.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 1979Date of Patent: November 18, 1980Assignee: Centralny Osrodek Projektowo-Konstrukcyjny Maszyn Gorniczych KomagInventors: Janusz Sedlaczek, Andrzej Blazewicz, Jacek Cyrulo, Marian Krutki, Tadeusz Wozniak

Patent number: 4233551Abstract: The present invention relates to a control circuit for an A.C. motor with two or several sets of windings. The switch-off phase of the first set of windings is symmetrical with the turn-on phase of the second set of windings, and it is illustrated how to modify the supplied current by simultaneous, symmetrical modification of said phases. As a result a symmetrical field distribution over each pole is obtained even if the turn-on and switch-off phases of the currents supplied to the windings are regulated.Type: GrantFiled: June 1, 1978Date of Patent: November 11, 1980Assignee: Grundfos A/SInventors: Axel Jensen, Niels Molgaard

Patent number: 4233517Abstract: Apparatus for internal irradiation wherein the radioactive material is applied in the shape of a ball row consisting of contiguous radio-active and neutral balls. This ball row is prepared beforehand and is pneumatically transferred to an applicator tube adapted to be introduced into a body cavity. In order that the balls may stay exactly in the right places during the irradiation, the applicator tube is provided with an internal channel having a narrow end portion, passing through a shoulder into the remaining wider portion, and a final ball is added to each ball row, this final ball having a larger diameter than the other balls, so that it is not admitted in the narrow end portion of the internal channel in the applicator tube. Thus, upon introduction of a ball row, the final ball is arrested by the shoulder and keeps the other balls in place. A plurality of applicator tubes may be applied, each of which is associated with an intermediate container in which the ball row is composed.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 1978Date of Patent: November 11, 1980Inventor: Eric van't Hooft

Patent number: 4232104Abstract: The conductive substrate is formed so that the pore openings therein gradually expand in size from one side to the other side of the substrate. When the subtrate is operated with an insulating material from the side having the larger openings, the insulating material adheres to the inclined internal circumferential surface of the pores. When a conductive layer is formed by vacuum evaporation deposition on the insulating layer, there is no short-circuit formed between the conductive layer and the substrate due to the complete insulation of the substrate without diminishing the size of the pore openings. The ratio of the smaller width of the openings to the larger width and the ratio of the depth of the inclined portion of each micro-opening to the thickness of the substrate are respectively within the range of from 1/5 to 4/5.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 1978Date of Patent: November 4, 1980Assignee: Konishiroku Photo Industry Co., Ltd.Inventors: Sohji Shinozaki, Yoshiaki Takei
