Abstract: A monitor of measurable environmental conditions, contained in a thin, watertight envelope with an electronic processing circuit, liquid crystal display, operating in the positive or negative mode and a two way r/f or infrared spectrum communication system. The monitor collects, stores and provides a readout of the information collected. The processing circuit has a programmable memory and the ability to monitor simultaneously multiple conditions.
Abstract: An indicating device, for a pressurized tank having a slotted cap covering a valve attached to the tank, has a flexible arcuate bifurcated body member. The flexible arcuate bifurcated body member has a first arm member and a second arm member forming a retaining slot and a retaining slot entrance channel. A flexible insertion handle member attaches to the flexible arcuate bifurcated body member. There is a first locking surface on the flexible arcuate bifurcated body member and a second locking surface on the flexible arcuate bifurcated body member. A first guide member is attached to the first arm member and a second guide member is attached to the second arm member. There may be a first deflection surface on the first guide member and a second deflection surface on the second guide member. There may be at least one indicia application surface on the flexible insertion handle member.
Abstract: A walking staff with a battery powered illuminator unit at one end including a glass sphere and multiple visible light sources positioned so as to create beams of light at selected angles outside the sphere.
Abstract: A pair of straps configured to resembled suspenders are fitted with lights and electrical circuits which when combined with a power pack radiate flashes of visible light. The power pack may be carried on a belt to which the straps are attached. The circuits allow all or just some of the lights to flash at one time. Reflective material occupies the areas not used by lights.
Abstract: A universal holder for post and open hook jewelry, including close loop jewelry that is capable of standing, hanging and stacking by means of appropriately space plane surfaces. A soft plastic mesh supported by a frame with hinged and locking legs and a key hole aperture providing two modes of support. Extensions from the frame are dimensionally correct so they lie flat one upon another.
Abstract: The invention is a vest formed from mesh material for assisting ambulatory patients move about. The vest is formed of a single piece of material with a hole in the center for the head and recesses that form arm holes when the material is folded over the body creating a front and back panel. The panels are connected under the arm holes with zippers or other material consistent with a zipper closure. The back panel contains a pair of straps attached at a diagonal to the shape of the back and intersect near the center point of the panel. A pair of handles of web or other strong material are vertically mounted proximate the center point to the straps, thereby allowing a high degree of control over the torso of the patient.
Abstract: A briefcase light is provided that consists of a base unit, a flexible arm and a light/power source unit. The light/power source unit contains a light emitting device, a battery and a switch, all electrically connected. The flexible arm allows the user to direct the light provided in any direction without the need for the user to hold the light in place.
Abstract: A concealable firearm in the form of a belt buckle with one or more gun barrels and decorative cover plate. Firing pins are cocked from behind the block of steel forming the gun and a slidable trigger plate locks the firing pins in the cocked position and, after a safety pin is removed, releases the spring biased firing pins upon the pull of a lanyard.
Abstract: An electrical outlet box assembly has a first outlet box section and a second outlet box section intimately connected to the first outlet box section. A forward end of the second outlet box section has a height less than the height of a rearward end. A first wire port is in a second outlet top wall of the second outlet box section. A second wire port is in a second outlet bottom wall of the second outlet box section. A first wire clamping member has a first section slidingly connected to the second outlet top wall of the second outlet box section and partially slides over the first wire port. A second section is connected to the second outlet top wall of the second outlet box section and opposes the first section. There is a threaded member to move the first section toward the second section and releasably secure a wire between the first section and the second section.
Abstract: A hand held tool for starting lace stitching or braiding, including a firm, stabilizing ridge about the perimeter with a relatively thin, flexible plastic panel within the perimeter. The panel includes a systematic scheme of holes that are interconnected by channels. The holes are sized and shaped to accommodate a particular lacing material and the holes are arranged to permit a particular design in the finished gimp. The tool is removed from the finished gimp with the exertion of a gentle separating force.
Abstract: A transportable pallet runner for moving and storing light to moderate loads comprising a plurality of spaced runners of bonded corrugated cardboard having flutes parallel to the force of the load and a spacer panel affixed to the runners to secure their spacing and orientation. Some runners have angles at their ends to facilitate conveyor movement and orientation.
Abstract: A motivational savings bank set, the motivational savings bank set including a savings bank, the savings bank including a plurality of separate and discrete chambers, the chambers being of sequential, ordered, and ascending vertical heights, each of the chambers having indicia provided thereon, the indicia on the chambers indicating a plurality of sequential, ordered, and ascending levels of achievement corresponding to the sequential, ordered, and ascending vertical heights of the chambers, all but one of the chambers having an associated insertion slot and the shortest of the chambers lacking an insertion slot, and a plurality of tokens, each of the tokens bearing indicia thereon indicating a denomination, and the indicia on the tokens being of ascending denominations.
Abstract: A reusable sweatband for sport caps and athletic headgear including a moisture receiving and retaining means attached to a strip of hook and loop fastener for placement inside the headgear with a corresponding strip of hook and loop fastener. One end of the velcro is stripped of its hooks making the strip easier to grasp and remove. A grommet is placed near the end adapted for grasping in order that the sweatband may be stored for drying or future use.
Abstract: An apparatus for maintaining an ice opening in ice fishing holes and maintaining a live bait supply over a long period including a steel tube of a size to fit the ice hole, closed at one end and having a ring mounted on the closed end so that a minnow saver bait cage may be tethered below the tube in the water. The tube is held down and freezes in place. The tube is removed by igniting a quantity of combustible material in the tube, where the heat will melt sufficient surrounding ice and allow the tube to gently and quietly move up and be removed from the hole with the bait cage.
