  • Patent number: 7563307
Abstract: A process for separating the components of a multi-component gas stream is disclosed. The multi-component gas stream is contacted with a solvent in an extractor to produce an overhead stream enriched with unabsorbed component(s) and a rich solvent bottoms stream enriched with absorbed component(s). The rich solvent bottoms stream is then flashed at reduced pressure to regenerate lean solvent and to recover the absorbed component(s) as an overhead stream. The regenerated solvent is recycled to the extractor. A portion of the circulating solvent comprises external solvent added to the system. A second portion of the circulating solvent comprises internal solvent contained in the feed gas.

  • Patent number: 7565314
Abstract: The invention relates to both a method and a computer system that are designed to provide a bid positioning system using a computerized bid proxy. The bid proxy takes instructions from the bidder and then bids based upon these instructions. Using a bid positioning system allows this bidder to place its bids in relation to a lead bid placed by another bidder in an auction based upon either a nominal or percentage distance from the lead bid. In a preferred embodiment, this computerized bid proxy is used in a shipment management system. This system allows a shipper to present at least one shipping requirement for a particular shipment to a centralized server. These shipping requirements could include the origin and destination of a shipment, the time or delivery date of a shipment, the number of articles being shipped, and the weight or volume of the shipment.

  • Patent number: 7554978
Abstract: A system for accessing a content-addressable memory in a packet processing system is described. A register holds a data element having a key field. Logic derives a value of the key responsive to 1) packet processing state data relating to one or more packets undergoing processing by the packet processing system, and 2) the value of this key field. The derived value of the key is presented to the memory. In response, the memory searches for an entry associated with the presented key value. If found, the content value associated with the entry is output. If not found, a signal indicative of a miss condition is output.
