Abstract: A radial piston-type pump is disclosed which includes a non-rotating control pin projecting into a cup-shaped housing. A pivoted cylinder block having radial holes is arranged on the pin. As the cylinder block rotates, the holes are alternately connected with a suction line and a pressure line. A connecting channel is provided which leads from the radial outer area of the inside chamber of the housing to the suction line of the pump.
Abstract: A device is disclosed for locking a first screw, or other rotatable part, within a cavity in an impeller. The screw incorporates a cavity containing a spring. A second screw is positioned in the head of the first screw in such a way that it may be used to force the spring into resilient cooperation with the surrounding surface. The first screw is locked thereby to the surrounding surface and is prevented from threading-out under certain heavy load conditions. This development is especially useful for locking an impeller to a pump shaft.
Abstract: A resilient mounting is disclosed for an automotive wheel suspension system. It includes a telescopic shock absorber and a coaxially arranged helical spring. Means are provided through which forces from the shock absorber and from the spring are separately transferred to the body and therefore bending forces to the shock absorber are prevented and wear of the shock absorber is diminished.
Abstract: Selective digital signal receiver wherein the time distances between zero crossings of the input voltage are measured with a counter controlled at a clock frequency which is high compared with the signal frequency. The main check, covering a plurality of cycles and a predetermined bandwith, is always preceded by a pre-check, covering few cycles and a larger bandwidth. This allows early recognition of push-button dial signals.

Abstract: An arrangement is provided for adjusting the damping force exhibited by a hydraulic shock absorber. Included is a valve near the piston including passages permitting the flow of fluid through openings in the piston. A linkage is provided which is rotatable about the piston rod to close any or all of the passages through the valve and thus regulate the damping force. The position of the linkage is determined by the interaction of the linkage with a stop member and the piston rod. The stop member is an element which may be extended through one end of the cylinder to engage an extension of the linkage to hold it in place while the piston rod bearing the valve is turned to open or close openings in the valve and thus change the damping force the shock absorber can exert. The stop member is adaptable to be retracted from contact with the linkage so that the adjustment will not be disturbed.
Abstract: A flexible coupling is provided for use between the shaft of a screw pump rotor and that of a driving motor where the shafts are required to transfer considerable axial forces and are subject to rotating out of axial alignment with each other. The respective shaft ends are formed either as cones or sections of spheres and are held together by a screwspring which envelopes both ends and transfers much of the torque from one shaft to the other while reducing the possibility for lateral displacement of the shafts. The shaft ends are positioned to roll against each other to reduce wear when the shafts rotate.
Abstract: A selective digital signal receiver is disclosed in which the time distances between zero crossings of the input voltages are measured with a counter which is controlled at a clock frequency higher than the signal frequency. Each measurement covers a predetermined number of cycles. The greater the number of cycles chosen, the less the bandwidth must be widened for the zero-crossing shifts caused by noise.

Abstract: A pump is disclosed which incorporates regulator means to limit the discharge volume of the pump. The regulator means includes an operating piston which responds to pressure differentials caused by excessively rapid flow through a duct. The pressure difference is used to overcome a spring bias and operate a pressure relief valve.
