  • Patent number: 5203480
Abstract: A fish-stringer handle has a D-shape with a channel around it for winding string to be unwound as needed for stringing fish. Finger grooves at an inside periphery of a leg of the D-shape provide comfortable handling. A needle orifice is provided for attaching the string with a fish-stringer needle. Wood or other light and floatable material can be used for construction. A string keeper can be attached to keep the string in the middle of the handle for distributing weight of fish on a string evenly across a hand of a user.

  • Patent number: 5200065
Abstract: A waste water treatment and disposal system for further treating waste water effluent from a primary treatment system in which a system controller controls the operation of the system. A dosing tank accepts effluent from a primary treatment system and is evacuated on demand by a pump which is energized in response to a fluid level switch in the dosing tank. The pump forces the effluent through a filtering system to remove solid waste therefrom, and then forces a portion of the filtered effluent into a hydro-pneumatic pressure tank which, upon call, will backflush the filter to remove the trapped solids therein. The system controller will monitor the system to operate the level of the dosing tank, the operation of the pump and the various valves which control the flow throughout the system. The filtered effluent will ultimately be discharged into a disposal area by any number of well known methods.

  • Patent number: 5195247
Abstract: A construction layout marker has two marker wheels (1 and 2) positioned in tandem on a wheel frame (3) with a handle frame (6) slanted upwardly from the front marker wheel (1). The two marker wheels are positioned a select distance apart and caused to rotate equally with a rotation equalizer (20-23) to coordinate selective marking with both marker wheels. A pivot marker fork (8) in combination with a wheel position marker (45, 46) provide accurate measurement and marking from a desired starting point. Automatically adjustable roller guides (25-31) at each side provide accurate distancing from edges (24) of surfaces (14) being marked. A brake (32) operated from the handle frame (6) holds the tandem marker wheels in fixed marker relationship for transferring marking indicia to parallel or offset construction surfaces and members. Non-slip surfaces (54) for different types of construction materials are positional on the marker wheels. Ink cartridges with felt marker edges are positional in each wheel.

  • Patent number: 5187868
Abstract: A metal demolition shear has a pivotal axle (4) with threading means (34, 35, 48, 42, 90, 92, 104) at opposite ends for adjusting linear positioning of thrust bearings (25, 26, 55, 56, 64) in order to adjust closeness of a pivotal jaw (1) to a stationary cutter jaw (2) of a demolition shear. A bolt-on replaceable cutter tip (14) is positional on a distal end of the pivotal jaw (1) in slidable contact with an adjustable wear surface (17) on a distal side of the stationary cutter jaw (2). Replaceable cutter blades and steady rest surfaces (17) are positional conveniently on the stationary cutter jaw in selective relationship to the bolt-on replaceable cutter tip (14). A steady rest bearing (19, 57) is extendable from the pivotal jaw and adjustably positional in slidable contact with a surface of the stationary cutter jaw. Roller bearings (25, 26, 64) are provided optionally for decreasing friction workload and for increasing use life.

  • Patent number: 5146967
Abstract: A golf bag rain cover is provided in the form of an envelope that is open at a bottom edge and has a closed top-edge roof. An access surface is provided with at least one access slot parallel to the roof and positioned a select distance below the roof. An access flap is attached above the slot and allowed to hang down over the access slot to a position below the slot. A quick-disconnect fastener is provided for attaching the access flap to the golf bag rain cover below the access slot. Attachment means, which can be quick-disconnect fasteners, are provided at sides and at an attachment surface of the golf bag rain cover for attachment to framework of a golf car. Typically there are two access slots with access flaps for two golf bags side-by-side on back of a golf car.

  • Patent number: 5133481
Abstract: A disposable plastic bottle used to contain fluid substances having an integral, flexible funnel spout, with sealable opening, featuring an external air vent integrally formed into the mouth of the spout suitable for accurately transferring fluids through tight filler openings which would ordinarily require the use of a separate funnel or spout. When the mouth of the spout is snugly inserted into a receptacle, the external air vent will provide a direct air passage to the contents of the bottle allowing the liquid to flow smoothly without restriction. The spout is integrally formed atop the bottle and comprises a plurality of bellows like ribs. Such ribs have a thinner cross-sectional wall than the side walls of the container body. This permits the spout to be flexed, enabling the ribs to collapse over-center and fold, allowing the spout to retain the flexed condition without external assistance, thereby creating a self latching feature.
