Abstract: A therapeutic rehabilitative apparatus is provided. The therapeutic rehabilitative apparatus is adapted to be removably attached to a standard chair or standard wheelchair in order to provide user with a means for providing physical therapy to a medically afflicted knee. The apparatus includes a bracket adapted to engage the seat portion of the standard chair. The bracket includes a fulcrum pin connector to which a lever is rotationally mounted. A tightener mechanism tightly secures the bracket against the outer ledge portion of the standard chair. The lever includes a handle mounted to an upper end and a rotatable pedal mounted to a lower end.

Abstract: An adjustable boat platform is provided that attaches to a conventional boat and transforms it into a fishing platform typically found on a bass boat. The invention attaches to the perimeter of just about any “V”-bottom boat using special slots and locking pins.

Abstract: A chew toy comprises a generally spherical body having a plurality of circumferential channels for receiving and housing a plurality of rings therein. The plurality of channels are formed in an exterior circumferential surface of the body. The plurality of channels are formed parallel, perpendicular or diagonally to a central axis of the body. Each of the plurality of rings is defined by a toroidal form, each of the plurality of rings snap-fit into a corresponding one of the plurality of channels. Abstract: A fishing lure with an integral light source and fiber optic strands is provided designed to attract more fish. A splay of short fiber optic strands leave the rear of the lure and camouflage a fishing hook. The fiber optic strands are gathered to a single point inside of the lure. A light-emitting diode (LED) is placed next to this point which allows visible light to travel down the fiber optic strands and exit from the end of the strand thus producing a display of light designed to attract fish. The LED is powered by a small watch-type battery and is controlled by a tension-activated switch at the front of the lure. Whenever tension is applied to the lure by the fishing line, the circuit is closed and the LED illuminates. If tension is removed by slack in the line, the circuit is opened and the LED extinguishes.

Abstract: A food and/or treat dispenser comprises an enclosed container having at least one aperture for insertion and dispensing of food stored therein. The dispenser comprises a top portion, a base portion and a central portion therebetween, wherein at least one aperture is provided in the top or base portion. The aperture is selectively openable and returnably resilient. A plurality of ribs are provided to facilitate selective opening of the aperture. The top and base portions include a perimeter encircling a concavity, the perimeter of a relatively flat configuration so that the top and/or base portions are positionable in a free standing configuration on a flat or planar surface. The dispenser may also include a variety of means for securing the dispenser to varying objects during transport or storage.

Abstract: The invention relates to the vibration damper systems (here, method and apparatus) for active removal of beyond-normal internal vibrations from turbine-generator-sets [T-G-Ss]. The invention relies on dynamic forces generated by at least a pair (when symmetrically placed) of “wings” or by at least one “wing” (when centrally placed), or combination of that, and associated hardware mounted on the bearing housing, which operate to offset internally produced vibrations in an active or “real time” fashion. This is in contrast to the typical method of taking the turbine-generator off-line, shutting it down and then eliminating the source of vibration. The invention allows the generator to remain operational during adjustments. Thus, it remains on-line producing electricity and associated revenue. The system may be installed at presently operating T-G-Ss. It also foresees the simple developments to be done in future designed T-G-Ss for use of this method.

Abstract: A golf swing training apparatus is provided. The golf swing training apparatus is adapted to be folded in a collapsed state to facilitate quick and easy transportation and storage. The golf swing training apparatus has a main frame assembly defining a pair of A-frames joined by a pair of cross members. Each A-frame includes a spar being telescopically adjustable. A plurality of adjustable feet are provided to level the apparatus when placed atop uneven surfaces. A guide ring is hingedly attached to the pair of A-frames and is adapted to be angularly and vertically adjusted. The guide ring is further provided with multi-colored bands and indicia to serve as visual references when practicing particular golf strokes.

Abstract: An apparatus comprising of a segmented instrument tray, precision scale, image processing system, photoelectric sensors and a Personal Computer (PC) is disclosed. Said apparatus provides an automated and accurate tracking of surgical instruments used during surgical operating procedure by counting and identifying a specific quantity and instrument type, which are removed from a sterilized instrument tray to be used during the procedure and subsequently returned to the tray upon procedure completion, thus preventing an accidental leaving of an instrument inside of a patient and significantly reducing time spent by the operation staff for the instrument accounting.
