Abstract: A lightweight, portable cord storage device is provided which is adapted to store and organize a cord member in a manner which prevents twisting, tangling, or crimping of the cord by wounding a selected cord around a pair of cord wounding posts utilizing a figure-eight wrapping method.

Abstract: A cover for an automobile sun visor comprises a front panel, a rear panel, a top margin or a lower margin, at least one aperture, and a seam. The cover is slidably placed onto a visor, and covers warning labels, protects the fabric from dust, dirt and other marring materials, and provides indicia about at least one panel of the cover.

Abstract: A non-abrasive scrubbing pad is a scrubbing pad used for cleaning projects. The net scrubbing pad is made from tulle netting fabric, which is fine in nature and virtually incapable of causing damage. The non-abrasive scrubbing pad is sewn together using thread in a chain-stitch pattern, which is extremely durable and long lasting. The non-abrasive scrubbing pad is available in one-ply designs, which would be used for light-duty cleaning tasks, and a two-ply design, which would be used for tougher cleaning jobs. It is envisioned that the non-abrasive scrubbing pad would be available in multiple sizes for all types of cleaning jobs, such as kitchen cleaning, floor cleaning, automobile cleaning ad the like. The use of the non-abrasive scrubbing pad provides users the ability to safely and quickly clean all types of fine finished surfaces without the danger of scratching or damage.

Abstract: An exercise apparatus is provided that simulates the effects of jumping rope, but does not utilize an actual rope. Two handles are provided similar in appearance to jump rope handles. At the end of the handle, where the rope would typically be, a donut-shaped enclosure is provided and mounted to the handle along its symmetrical axis. Inside of each donut-shaped enclosure, a weighted ball that rotates around a circular chamber within the enclosure. When rotated, the weighted balls generate rotational torque to simulate the use of a jump rope.

Abstract: A pet chew toy for holding consumable treats comprises a body member having a plurality or ribs and a plurality of interstitial spaces formed between the ribs. The ribs and spaces cooperatively act to impinge a treat or treats inserted therein. The ribs and spaces may be disposed substantially parallel to the direction of the bore and a central axis, or may be disposed helically about the bore. The bore may be enclosed at one or both ends by threaded caps, heat bonded caps, or a combination thereof. A sound module may be provided within the bore for emitting a prerecorded or mechanically generated sound upon activation of the sound module.

Abstract: The invention relates to the vibration damper systems (here, method and apparatus) for active removal of beyond-normal internal vibrations from turbine-generator-sets [T-G-Ss*]. The invention relies on dynamic forces generated by a pair of “wings” and associated hardware mounted on the bearing housing, which operate to offset internally produced vibrations in an active or “real time” fashion. This is in contrast to the typical method of taking the turbine-generator off-line, shutting it down and then eliminating the source of vibration. The invention allows the generator to remain operational during adjustments. Thus, it remains on-line producing electricity and associated revenue. The system may be installed at presently operating T-G-Ss. It also foresees the simple developments to be done in future designed T-G-Ss for use of this method. The use of invention provides a real solution to internal vibrations that develop in turbine-generator-sets throughout their lifetime.

Abstract: A rainwater collection apparatus stores rainwater until required, and includes at least one outlet for exporting rainwater. The outlet or outlets include ball-valve assemblies and levers for opening and closing the outlets, and couplers for attachment to a garden hose, thereby providing optimal control of the export of water. An overflow port or outlet is provided as well. A drainage port at an inferior end is provided to remove sediment. To aid in the usage and distribution of the water, an internal submersible pump may be provided. The output of the pump is connected to a conventional garden hose allowing the rain water from the barrel to be used for washing of motor vehicles, watering of lawns and flowers, rinsing of driveways and the like. The pump is controlled by an ON-OFF switch located on the side of the barrel.

Abstract: A safety apparatus having a base, a wand coupled to the base, and an illumination source retained by the wand. The base may include a recess to retain the illumination source, or an additional illumination source. The base may also include a port and a hollow interior for selectively filling the interior with ballast for support. The wand may include reflective material along the external circumference for increasing the visibility of the apparatus to on-coming traffic. The apparatus may be used to freely stand on a solid surface, or the base may be evacuated of ballast and used to buoyantly rest on the surface of an aqueous body.

Abstract: A tool is provided to aid in the insertion and removal of tree steps used with blinds in trees while hunting. The invention takes the form of a “Z”-shaped crank made of flat steel stock. The middle portion of the crank has a hole that is placed over the step on the step portion. The upper portion of the crank, has two slots on either side, one of which is used for installing a tree step, while the other is used to remove the tree step. Finally, the lower portion of the crank forms a handle, which can be padded with a cushion or handle grip.

Abstract: A matching card game is provided. The object of the game is the speed with which a player can dispose of his cards before his opponent. The card game requires each player to react to card indicia with speed and keen sensitivity in order to facilitate speedy disposal of one's cards. The card game includes a card deck having base cards and variety cards which are embellished in various colors and indicia, as well as commands or actions such as pick 1 and jump 1. A die marked with indicia is utilized for choosing a dealer as well as for collecting the letters “S” “P” “E” “E” “D” by each round winner for determining ultimate game card winner.

Abstract: An improved testing device for testing a drainage or plumbing system for vertical piping is provided which allows the tester to determine which particular floor is being currently checked for leaks at any time during the test. The testing device includes a tee disposed in fluid tight series communication between a drainage system and drain. A controller means is included which utilizes a ball valve to prevent water spillage during removal of the testing device when testing the drainage system for leaks. A ball valve actuator facilitates actuation of the ball valve. A closure plug assembly is provided which includes multiple ports adapted to accommodate a valve stem of the controller means and a fillgauge apparatus. A fluid elevation gauge provides tester with a visual readout of water elevational levels. A lightweight container is provided to store the testing device to facilitate transportability.

Abstract: A riser clamp mateable with a riser, wherein the riser clamp supports a column of the riser as material passes therein, and the riser clamp further covers or seals the opening in the partition formed through which the riser passes. The riser clamp comprises a pair of clamp members adjoined to a riser. The clamp members comprise a semi-annular jacket seated against the riser, a collar circumscribing the jacket, wherein the collar covers an opening formed in a partition through which the riser passes. The clamp members further have a pair of mounting flanges depending from the jacket and the collar, with the mounting flanges extending laterally in opposing directions from the jacket and coplanar to a medial margin. Each one of the mounting flanges accommodates a fastener for adjoining the pair of clamp members securely about the riser.

Abstract: Portable Fluid Delivery Device used for transporting water or other fluids comprising a shaft, a reservoir, a means for holding a water bottle or other container. In a preferred embodiment, the Portable Fluid Delivery Device also comprises an optional attachment assembly in order to facilitate quick removal of the device from the article it is thereto attached for use.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided to aid in the removal of blockages from sanitary waste lines on sinks, showers and the like. Two pieces of flexible hose connect to a standard utility vacuum. The first piece of hose, approximately six to eight feet long, connects to the suction port of the vacuum. The second piece of hose, approximately 20 feet long, connects to the exhaust port of the vacuum. A special drain adapter connects to the other end of the suction hose. The adapter, with a small diameter piece of plastic pipe, and a flexible shroud which is similar in nature to a rubber plunger, forms an air tight seal between the suction hose and the drain.

Abstract: A grass trimming device with dual linehead spool hubs is provided. The grass trimming device is adapted to simultaneously trim grass at both a substantially horizontal plane and a substantially vertical plane. The device includes actuation switches which also allow linehead spool hubs to be used in an independent manner.

Abstract: A selectable shower scrubber massager is an apparatus to aid in the scrubbing and cleaning of one's back while in the shower. The apparatus is suspended from the shower head from an adjustable hanger that permits vertical adjustment of the body of the apparatus. The body has three separate sections of brushes designed to clean and/or massage the upper, middle and lower areas of the back. Each section is provided with rotating brushes controlled by a variable speed motor. Each section also has a soap dispenser that provides for the application of liquid soap from an integral interior dispenser. On the back of the invention are a set of four suction cups to aid in attaching the invention to the shower or bath wall. Control switches and speed adjustments for each section are provided operatively coupled with a power source.

Abstract: The invention can be used for telecommunications, measuring and other devices in order to produce stable superhigh frequency signals. An IMPATT diode (4) operating in the cascade break-down mode and having a sharp nonlinearity transforms an input signal in such a way that ultraharmonics which multiple in respect to the frequency of an input signal ?0 occur in a frequency spectrum. An output stage of a multiplier is used in order to separate an output n?0 frequency and to suppress adjacent frequencies. In order to tune the output stage to the n?0 frequency, a tuning plug (8) and short-circuiting pistons (13) are used. The tuning plug (8) is arranged above an upper electrod of the IMPATT diode (4) (inside the axis of the diode). The tuning plugs (13) make it possible to tune resonance capacitance to the n?0 frequency and remove energy towards the output part of a T-bend in which a wave guide pass-band filter (15) is disposed.

Abstract: A human airway cleaning tool is provided that aids in the removal of foreign or blocking material in the airway of humans. Resembling a Yankauer suction tube, the cleaning tube has a provision for the attachment of a conventional vacuum cleaner hose. This feature makes the invention suitable for use anywhere at almost anytime as long as a vacuum cleaner is available. Further featured is a round, ball-shaped, tip that easily enters a person's throat with causing damage. Shaped such that it is easily held, the cleaning tool is easily maneuvered while it is in a person's mouth.

Abstract: A Christmas tree stand is provided with integral, adjustable, and lockable rolling casters. A series of thumb operated bolts hold the tree and a central reservoir to hold water to help the tree remain green. A series of four or five casters are provided around the bottom perimeter of the stand. Each caster is adjustable in height, which allows the user to set the tree straight or plumb.

Abstract: A picnic table system is provided that is modular in design for ease of storage out of inclement weather when not in use. A bench assembly sits atop two pedestal-type legs and the table top and is supported by the upper portion of the pedestal legs. Both the top and the benches are secured by frictional impingement. When the structure is to be moved, the bench assembly, table top and the two pedestal legs are stored in a manner conserving floor or storage space. The ability to store the structure inside during inclement weather or during off season allows for increased life of the structure, thus saving the user replacement or repair costs as well.
