Abstract: A method for treating the pain in the limbs relating to restricted blood flow to nerve endings and reduction in motor and sensory nerve conduction velocities by topically administering a composition containing a plant extract which is a vasodilator, a plant extract which is a stimulator of lymphatic activity and a mobilizer of white blood cells which is derived from snake venom or plants.
Abstract: The seat depth adjustable vehicle seat has a seat frame that has an adjustable front edge and a padding carried by a seat frame. The padding extends about the front edge and adopts different positions with respect to the front edge. The padding has at least two layers. There is provided one inner and one outer layer. The inner layer is located between the front edge and the outer layer.
Abstract: Anti-microbial compositions, polymers and paints having incorporated therein at least one phenolic complex. Preferably a chloroxylenol complex is utilized for topical treatment of a patient with a bacterial or viral skin infection.
Abstract: There is provided a process for preparing lithium cobaltate and to lithium-containing cobalt oxides which is used in lithium battery cathodes. Also, there is provided cathodes for lithium batteries.

Abstract: Corrosion inhibiting composition for use in aqueous or semi-aqueous stripping, cleaning, abrasive lapping and abrasive slurry compositions that form 5, 6, 7, or 8-membered chelating rings with a base metal together with a film forming polymeric chelation agent. Optionally there is included an oxygen scavenger.
Abstract: A fabric for chemical protective garments having at least two multilayered film laminates separated by a scrim forming a barrier chamber. The laminates are sandwiched between films of linear low density polyethylene and contain a different film from each other selected from ethyl vinyl alcohol, polyethylene terephthalate and polyamide. There is also the garment prepared with the fabric.
Abstract: The present invention provides a process for preparing lithium manganate having lithium-in cell stability by utilizing manganese oxides having lower oxidation states in the furnacing step and by using stoichiometric amounts of lithium hydroxide monohydrate and a manganese oxide in water as a starting mixture. Cr, Ni, Mg, AL oxides are optionally added.

Abstract: There is provided a method and composition for rinsing sliced ingots into wafers from a wire saw cutting operation. The method uses an alkoxylated alcohol diluted in water alone or with a polyalkyl siloxane when the bath has a dynamic flow of water to prevent foaming.
Abstract: Compositions for treating anal and vaginal inflammations while maintaining normal vaginal floral activity utilizing magnesium and alkali metal salts at an acidic pH.
Abstract: There is provided a method of treating irritations and inflammation of the eye or ear by the topical administration of an aqueous composition containing magnesium, potassium and sodium halides. The eye treating compositions have an osmolarity between 140 and 180 mOsm/l and are hypotonic.
Abstract: The present invention provides electrolytes for use in electronic devices at temperature below ?50° C. consisting of a mixture, eutectic or tereutectic of at least two low viscosity aprotic solvents, acetonitrile, and a mixture of conductive salts having a molecular weight up to 240.
Abstract: A method and an apparatus is provided for the separation of liquid-liquid and liquid-solids compositions by flash evaporation in a heated vacuum chamber. The compositions are injected through an atomizing spray nozzle having a spray cone downward of about 30 to 150 degrees. The compositions are preheated and injected under pressure into the preheated vacuum evaporation chamber. The vaporized liquid that is formed is collected in a condenser which draws the vapors by vacuum or pressure differential. Any solids are collected at the bottom of the vacuum chamber as semi-dry or dry solids.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a gas cell which is included in a gas sensor and adapted to establish the presence of a gas and/or for determining the concentration of one such gas (G), comprising a cavity (2?) which is delimited by wall portions that have light reflecting properties and which is intended to enclose a volume ((G)) of said gas, and further comprising a light source (3) which is adapted to emit a light bundle (3a?) directed for reflection between cavity-associated and opposing wall portions, wherein a light bundle (3a?) is comprised of light rays which are reflected in a concave wall mirror surface (2b?) and adapted to be directed onto one or more light receivers (4, 5) which function to detect an absorption wavelength corresponding to the gas sample ((G)).
Abstract: A process for removing dye on the surface of natural textiles utilizing ozone is disclosed. The process also prevents redeposit of dye which is residual in a dyeing process. The time and temperature of the process is dependent upon the type of dye and the temperature the process is run. The process can be used in vat dyeing, jet dyeing, package dyeing and the like.
