Abstract: A method for stabilizing gravel, sand, crushed stone, rock and concrete structures which have cracks by injecting a pumpable, low viscous aqueous aerated concrete with a pore volume of at least 20% by volume into the cracks at a low pressure and then increasing the pressure so that the entrained air bubbles escape and sedimentation and hydration occur.
Abstract: A method for producing a multi layer protective textile fabric having a base fabric layer with pre-selected areas fibers of a heavier denier or different material inserted pursuant to a computer program and the articles produced thereby. There is also provided a glove prepared by the method comprising different denier fibers and kind of fibers at pre-selected locations having a base unilayer and at least one other layer.
Abstract: A method of producing a unilayer textile fabric having in preselected areas fibers of a heavier denier inserted pursuant to a computer program and the articles produced thereby. There is also provided a glove prepared by the method comprising heavier denier fibers at preselected locations.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for blending a solute and a solvent to form a solution product which substantially eliminates starting material and product operational loss while improving environmental safety both in the workplace and the ambient atmosphere. The apparatus and method employ a closed system and controls which remove substances from the overhead vapors generated in the various units by employing separate and distinct filtering systems. A high efficiency particulate air filter (HEPA) is employed in a closed solute supply means. A demister device is in fluid communication with the vent of the mixing vessel unit to remove solvent and solution products, to form droplets from the exhaust stream and return them to the mixing tank and discharging the exhaust stream without stress to the environment.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a unilayer flexible performance fabric which may be fabricated into apparel and articles having high performance fibers, such as high tensile modulus fibers positioned within a base fabric in at least one preselected location only where required to import performance characteristics which are equal to or exceed the specifications for the garment. For example, if cut resistance is a requirement, performance fibers which provide such protection from this hazard would be used. Likewise, if abrasion resistance is intended for an apparel such as coveralls, only the knees and elbows would require the performance fiber. Thus, reducing the amount of expensive fibers normally used. The invented fabric is manufacturede in a method in which the placement of the fabric in preselected locations is computer controlled.
Abstract: A non-foaming periodontic composition in a gel form or mouth wash for treating gum diseases or used in bleaching teeth which are alcohol free. The composition is a mixture of an isoalkyl amine oxide and an antimicrobial betaine compound. The composition is useful for treating gum disease and whitening teeth.
Abstract: The combination of a shipping container and a plurality of parallel planar panels having a pallet with a horizontal platform frame perpendicularly fixed to a rear frame, a rear wall support which is tilted obliquely and rearwardly extending from the rear of the horizontal platform frame to the top of the rear frame and a planar rear wall attached to the rear wall support. A laminated corrugated paperboard wedge having an inclined load bearing surface in conjunction with a shipping container having an obliquely tilted and rearwardly extending rear wall which provides an economical, reusable, recyclable and efficient transport container for vertically standing parallel planar panels, such as multi-glazed glass units. The shipping container is particularly useful for transporting refrigerator and freezer doors and insulating window units.
Abstract: A non-aqueous electrolyte for use in batteries and electrical capacitors for use at low temperatures. The electrolyte consists of at least two electrolyte salts in an electrochemical solvent or at least one electrolyte salt in a mixture of electrochemical solvents.
Abstract: The present invention relates to the treatment of cancerous conditions in mammals by the administration to the site of disease compositions containing serine protease inhibitor. The cancerous conditions include osteocarcinomas, melanoma, Karopsi sarcoma and keratosis. The compositions are also useful to relieve the pain associated with the disease.

Abstract: A sports game pinball amusement device for playing a sports game. The playing field contains a plurality slots with sensors for determining the activity in a game and a multiplicity of slots with sensors representing the final. The game is played by launching a ball along an inclined playing field to determine the plays in a baseball, football, soccer game or the like, which is programmed into a microprocessor.
Abstract: A process for the preparation of high purity arsenic pentafluoride in high yield. The process uses sulfur trioxide or oleum and an excess of hydrogen fluoride to react arsenic acid or arsenic pentoxide in a reaction medium containing an excess of hydrogen fluoride to yield high purity arsenic pentafluoride as a gas.
Abstract: There is provided concentrated aqueous solutions of highly pure lithium hydroxide essentially free of carbon dioxide, packaged in an inert atmosphere.
Abstract: There is provided novel polycarbonate polymers and oligomers for use as electrolytes in electrochemical devices having a higher content of organic carbonates so as to enhance electrical conductivity. The polymers are prepared by a condensation reaction or by ester exchange.
Abstract: The invention provides a cutting and lubricating composition with abrasive particles for cutting hard and brittle workpieces with a wire saw or other cutting or grinding tool. The composition provides electrostatic and steric repulsion between the abrasive particles to maintain the particles in suspension without forming hard settled cakes from suspension “fall-out”.
