Abstract: A combination hand truck, dolly and step ladder device includes a hand truck frame and a step ladder frame that are pivotally attached to one another and can be fixed at selective angles with respect to each other to form a hand truck, a dolly and a step ladder. In a step ladder configuration, the top step of a step assembly is secured to a cross member of the hand truck frame so as to lock the hand truck frame and the step ladder frame into a substantially fixed relationship to one another. In a dolly configuration, the hand truck frame becomes the handle for the dolly, and is held in place by a support bar that pivotally attaches to the hand truck frame and secures to the step ladder frame.

Abstract: A cleaning mechanism for a wire electrode of an air purifier device includes a base, a post having a first end attached to the base and a second end accessible from a location external the housing, a cleaning plate assembly attached to the base, wherein the cleaning plate assembly frictionally contacts the wire electrode when moved relative to the wire electrode. The cleaning plate assembly is movable within the housing when the second end of the post is moved from a resting configuration to a cleaning configuration.

Abstract: Vacuum producing appliance and associated food and beverage holding vessels, the vacuum producing appliance with a hollow housing, the housing enclosing a vacuum pump, a pressure switch, a vacuum holding tank, a solenoid valve, a power switch, and associated tubing to attach the components to each other. A conical shaped concavity built into the bottom of the housing capable of drawing air from a vessel and passing it through the vacuum. A plurality of vessel sealing lids interact with the vacuum producing appliance, the lids having a convex conical shape at their top surface that can interface in an air tight way with a mating concave conical shape located in the main housing the lids having a check valve that allows air to leave the lid but not reenter it. The lids are capable of interfacing in an air tight way with the mouth of a jar, bottle, can or the like so that a vacuum can be drawn in the jar, bottle or can.

Abstract: A novel duel directional electromagnetic actuator includes a case, a core, an electrical current conductive coil and a field coil. The case includes a first case end, a second case end, and an interior wall extending between the first and second case ends. A chamber is defined by the interior wall. An electrical current conductive coil is disposed in the chamber coextensively adjacent the interior wall. The conductive coil has a first coil end disposed proximate the first case end, a second coil end disposed proximate the second case end, and a midpoint. The core has a first core end, a second core end, and an exterior wall extending between the first and second core ends. The exterior wall has a first region adjacent the first core end and a second region spaced from the first region and adjacent the second core end.

Abstract: A video display system having an electrically insulative substrate with a top surface, a bottom surface, and an M.times.N array of holes between the top and bottom surfaces. The M.times.N array of holes corresponds to an M.times.N array of pixels. The system further includes piezoelectric members, each piezoelectric member disposed on the top surface adjacent to each of the holes. Each of the piezoelectric members has two metallized faces and a mirror mounted to the member. An integrated circuit electronic switch matrix is mounted to the bottom surface of the substrate. One of the metallized faces is electrically connected through the holes to the piezoelectric members. The other metallized face is electrically connected to ground. The switch matrix develops electrical signals, with each signal corresponding to an intensity of one of the pixels.
