  • Patent number: 8208952
Abstract: Method for allocating a minimum downlink power from a transmitter (1) having nt transmit antennas of a cellular multi-user multi-antenna communications system with N users attached to said transmitter (1). Each user comprises at least one antenna. The method comprising the steps of: generating at said transmitter (1) M random beams (b1 . . . bM); sending said M random beams through all the transmit antennas; calculating at each user a signal-to-noise-interference-ratio for each random beam sent by said transmitter (1); sending back to said transmitter (1) said calculated values of signal-to-noise-interference-ratio, said signal-to-noise-interference-ratio representing a partial channel state information; selecting at said transmitter (1) the M best users which correspond to the M best values of signal-to-noise-interference-ratio per beam.

  • Patent number: 8208469
Abstract: A system that allows information of MPLS layers to be reported to PW layers by providing a function having a correlation between MPLS layers and PW layers. A PE uses MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) tunneling and label technology to map a communication service to MPLS, thereby providing bidirectional services on an end-to-end basis. a communication system comprising the PE to perform label assignment control for bidirectional services, the PE to transmit, after completion of assignment control, a message in which the LDP message used in assignment control is a payload and a tunnel-directed label (L2) used by bidirectional services is a header and the PE to associate, on the basis of the received LDP message used in assignment control, a service-directed label (P1) included in the LDP message with the received tunnel-directed label (L2) in the part where the message is terminated.

  • Patent number: 8208623
Abstract: In an echo processing method and device which can detect an accurate echo section without effects of a far end signal, an echo delay, and a reduction of an echo cancellation amount, a signal of a specified frequency band is generated in conformity with a near end signal, and the signal of the specified frequency band is added to the near end signal to form a transmitting signal. Receiving signals are separated into the signal of the specified frequency band and a signal of a band other than the specified frequency band. An echo section is detected based on the signal of the specified frequency band separated. An echo component in the signal of the band other than the specified frequency band is removed and a level of the echo component is detected based on the near end signal in the echo section.

  • Patent number: 8203569
Abstract: Registers 32a-32d hold data for pixels interleaved. An operator 34 reads the pixel data from the registers and processes the pixel data in accordance with a program code. The operator 34 writes the result of the process back to the registers via a cache 38 or writes it in a memory. Program counters PC0-PC3 provided in association with the number of pixels interleaved store the addresses of instructions in a program for the respective pixels. An instruction loader 76 alternately reads from the program counters. An incrementer 74 increments the count of the program counters. The instructions in the program for the pixels are alternately loaded and interleaved on a pixel by pixel basis, before being supplied to the operator 34 and the like.

  • Patent number: 8196672
Abstract: A conservation tillage implement having three or more rows of individual coulter wheel assemblies laterally spaced apart and removably mounted on a cultivator frame, a coulter wheel assembly in a given row being staggered with respect to the coulter wheel assemblies in a longitudinally adjacent row. The coulter wheel assemblies may be laterally adjustable and may be mounted to the cultivator frame using a mounting means that permits rotation about a vertical axis. The coulter wheel assemblies may have a coil spring with a horizontal spring axis to permit upward deflection in response to impact with an obstacle. Leveling attachments may optionally be mounted to the cultivator frame, along with additional field working tools. The implement is used in the management of crop residue as part of a minimum tillage strategy. The implement is particularly resistant to plugging and can be operated at high speeds without undue damage upon impact with obstacles.

  • Patent number: 8194078
Abstract: A program execution system has a program execution device which has a controller operated by a user and a display on which images such as characters or players in the game are seen. In order to prevent an incorrect movement of a character on the display when switching from one scene viewed from one camera viewpoint to another scene viewed from another camera viewpoint without additional steps by the user, the program execution system has a computer-readable and executable program stored on a recorded medium providing a character motion direction step by which, if along the motion of a character on the screen a switching is made from one scene to another, the direction of motion of the character in the second scene is maintained in coordination with the character's motion direction on a map in the first scene at least immediately before the switching.
