Abstract: The present invention provides a method and device for sanitizing a user's hands prior to the user being granted access to an area. A barrier restricts access to a particular area without sanitization of the user's hands. A locking finger of the present invention prevents opening of the barrier. The locking finger adjusts between an allow access position and a prevent access position to prevent a user from passing the barrier without adjusting the locking finger to the allow access position. To open the barrier, a user must adjust an access arm from a lock position to an unlock position to adjust the position of the locking finger. The user pivots the access arm towards the barrier if the barrier is opened by pushing the barrier. The user pivots the access arm away from a barrier that requires to be pulled upon. The pivoting of the access arm releases a cleaning substance to the user's hands pivoting the access arm requiring the user to sanitize his hands before accessing the area beyond the barrier.

Abstract: The adjustable tray provides a central body adapted to receive drinks, food, toys, reading material, or any other item(s) that a user places upon the central body. Retention arms pivotally attached to the central body adjust to a retaining position that extends the retention arms above the central body. The retention arms also adjust to an elevating position that extends the retention arms below the central body to raise the central body. Retention arms also detach from each other to pivot freely to avoid obstructing placement of larger items on the central body. A retention lip also maintains items within the confines of the adjustable tray. Unique webbing of the present invention allows the user to adjust the length of webbing extending from the central body and to secure either the front or the rear of the adjustable tray around the user and/or object(s).

Abstract: The invention herein provides for an improved pesticide that includes at least one attractant, at least one plant growth stimulator and an insecticide. The pesticide eradicates fire ants and promotes the destruction of empty nests by subsequent plant growth.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a firearm storage device adapted to store at least one object, including but not limited to a firearm. A housing of the present invention attaches to a support arm located upon a lower support surface. The housing includes a mounting shell wall and a locking shell wall that pivots away from the mounting shell wall to allow access to the contents of the housing. Inside the housing, a support finger engages the interior of the barrel of a firearm to orient the firearm in a manner that provides a user with access to the grip of the firearm. The housing also locks to prevent unauthorized users from accessing the contents of the housing. The housing also releases from the support arm to allow a user to utilize the housing as a secure device to transport an object.

Abstract: This invention is related to a portable texture-spraying apparatus for uniformly dispersing a viscous material. This apparatus broadly includes a tank assembly having a body with an inner wall that defines a sealed cavity, and a piston assembly slidably disposed within the sealed cavity. The piston assembly divides the sealed cavity into an air-side chamber and a material-side chamber by providing an airtight seal therebetween. Additionally an air-control assembly is provided that broadly includes a pressure-control mechanism configured for receiving compressed air and routing a controlled pneumatic pressure to a directional valve configured for adjusting between a dispensing mode and a loading mode. In dispensing mode, the directional valve routes the controlled pneumatic pressure to the air-side chamber biasing the piston assembly toward the material-side chamber.

Abstract: An industrial stilt generally includes a floor-engaging member having a heel portion and a toe portion, a load-bearing riser pivotally coupled with the heel portion of the floor-engaging member, a biasing assembly pivotally coupled with and between the toe portion of the floor-engaging member and the load-bearing riser, a foot-engaging member, a leg support assembly, and a leg cuff assembly. The biasing assembly assists in preventing excessive forward or backward leans and maintains the load-bearing riser and the user in a substantially vertical, upright position. The position of the leg cuff assembly on the user's leg and the user's elevation may be easily and safely adjusted using bracket and load-bearing riser adjustment and locking assemblies.

Abstract: A paintball marker using a piston and compression spring mounted in an air focus tube for generating compressed air for launching a paintball down a barrel. A trigger and sear are used to catch the compression spring when it is compressed to control the launching of the paintball. Exterior pull handles mounted behind the marker, and slideably mounted on the barrel are described for compressing the spring. Also, a pivotally mounted barrel is provided as another embodiment for compressing the spring.

Abstract: High temperature gate driving circuits with improved noise resistance and minimized loss are implemented with high temperature components with a reduced size magnetic isolation transformer. Input broad-pulse width modulated signals are converted to offsetting narrow pulses to cross the reduced size magnetic transformer minimizing isolation losses. One embodiment teaches time and voltage offset narrow single pulses that control a set and reset regeneration of the pulse width output on the secondary side of the transformer. Another embodiment teaches multiple concurrent voltage offset pulses to cross the transformer and charge a threshold capacitor for both filtering noise and controlling the pulse width regeneration on the secondary side of the transformer.

Abstract: There is disclosed apparatus and method for a test of eye dominance of human subjects for which on each 10-sec trial, one eye starts with a strong image that gets progressively weaker or does not get progressively stronger, while, at the same time, the other eye gets a weak image that gets progressively stronger. The initially strong image will always be seen at the beginning and eventually vision will flip to the other eye's view once that image has achieved sufficient strength to overcome the dominance of the initially strong stimulus (which itself is getting progressively weaker). The subject indicates recognition of the strengthening image and the time is recorded. Results show that the test provides a reliable measure of eye dominance which is seen to vary considerably among people within a sample of normal adults.

Abstract: There is disclosed a backlit display structure with multiple LED's arranged to transmit light into a light guide plate configured to uniformly illuminate the back of a readily replaceable translucent image sheet. The display may be incorporated with a decorative frame which also may be illuminated by the same or different LED's. The display powered by a rechargeable battery pack may also be incorporated in table top boxes for condiments, straws, napkins or other conveniences for restaurant customers where it is useful for displaying replaceable advertising or current featured menu items. In another form the guide plate does not uniformly illuminate an image sheet but only illuminates temporary marks thereon from a crayon or marker, thereby providing an illuminated blackboard.
