  • Patent number: 8234936
Abstract: A torque wrench having ease of operation compatible with improved accuracy of measurement. The torque wrench includes a tightening portion, a housing having a front side cover part and a back side grip part and a shaft-like strain body that is contained inside the housing. First distortion sensors and second distortion sensors are arranged on the strain body at spaced points in the axial direction of the strain body for measuring an amount of distortion of the strain body. A microprocessor chip has functions including computation of a tightening torque which is corrected for errors due to changes in a point of effort where a tightening force is applied by a user. The correction is based on the detection result of the first distortion sensors and the second distortion sensors. An output portion outputs the corrected tightening torque measurement value.

  • Patent number: 8226802
Abstract: A technology which is capable of an accurate measurement of the film thickness even if an exfoliation occurs is provided. A difference frequency ?f0 is calculated from a resonance frequency f0 of a film thickness sensor at a current time a0 and a resonance frequency f1 at an immediate past time a1, and whether the exfoliation has occurred or not is detected from its sign and a comparison result relative to a reference value. When the exfoliation has occurred, a corrected film thickness value T? is obtained by adding the thickness ?t0 of the exfoliation film to an increased film thickness value T which is determined from a resonance frequency fx measured at a future time ax to be converted to the thickness of a film on a film forming object, and whether the formation of the film should be terminated is judged in comparison to an aimed value.

  • Patent number: 8224563
Abstract: The latitude/longitude and time acquired at prescribed sampling time intervals by a touring bus 1 which runs a predetermined running route are wireless-transmitted. A user 6 specifies a getting-on/off point on the basis of the latitude/longitude and time provided by the touring bus and acquires a running route inclusive of the getting-on/off point. Therefore, the user can acquire the running route inclusive of the getting-on/off point easily and instantaneously. The user can specify the getting-on/off point using the speed computed from the latitude/longitude and time acquired. Thus, the user can set his desired notifying point on the running route thus acquired. In such a configuration, there are provided a system for permitting a user of a touring bus to acquire a running route of the touring bus inclusive of a getting-on/off point easily and instantaneously and a system for notifying the arrival of the touring bus which permits the user to set his desired notifying point easily.

  • Patent number: 8216642
Abstract: A technique that enables the formation of a low resistivity barrier film at low temperatures, in which a catalyst is placed inside a vacuum chamber and heated, a raw material gas and a reactive gas (such as H2, NH3 or SiH4) are introduced alternately into the vacuum chamber, and a reaction is effected between the raw material gas adsorbed to the surface of an object, and radicals generated by decomposition of the reactive gas on contact with the catalyst, thereby depositing a thin film on the object. Furthermore, a technique for removal of impurities (such as oxides, fluorides, carbides or nitrides), in which the catalyst is placed in a vacuum atmosphere and heated, and a treatment gas having a hydrogen atom in its chemical structure is brought into contact with the catalyst, thereby generating radicals.
