Abstract: The stretchable and water resistant laminated fabric composition comprises two layers of stretchable fabrics bonded together by a heat activated adhesive comprising a urethane polymer suspended in a toluene containing solvent, in a proportion of about 40% by weight of urethane polymer. Such an adhesive leaves stretchability properties of the fabrics of the layers substantially intact and provides a water resistant bond between said layers.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for regenerating tetraalkylammonium hydroxide used as developer solution for positive type resist from waste developer solution. Waste solution from developer solution for positive type resist, which contains tetraalkylammonium hydroxide as principal component, is neutralized, and after depositing and removing alkali-soluble organic substances dissolved in it, it is electrolyzed in an anode chamber of an electrolytic cell partitioned by cation exchange membranes, and it is anodized in the anode chamber. Aqueous solution of tetraalkylammonium hydroxide obtained from the cathode chamber is further introduced to an anode chamber of the other electrolytic cell to perform multi-stage electrolysis or it is introduced into an anode chamber of an electrolytic cell partitioned into 3 chambers or more by two or more cation exchange membranes to perform multi-chamber electrolysis.

Abstract: The subject invention is directed to a device for preventing the movement of a floor-mounted gear shift lever of an automobile from the "park" position to a position useful for operating the automobile. Five specific embodiments are of interest. The first embodiment includes an arcuate retaining lock which operates similar to a handcuff lock and which is mounted outside the gear shift lever console. The first embodiment includes a hingeable lock plate which is hingeably located behind the gear shift lever and which includes a semi-circular cutout portion for receiving the gear shift lever thereby preventing its rearward movement.The second embodiment utilizes a similarly operating locking member but is contained within the gear shift lever console so as to be hidden from view. The third embodiment includes a lever activated housing to enclose and disable a gas pedal. The fourth embodiment includes a housing to enclose a gear shift handle, thereby preventing unauthorized operation of the automobile.

Abstract: A vehicle for snow removal has a conveyor belt for transporting shovelled snow from a front end shovel up to a collection load box, above which the snow is melted by a plurality of heat sources for deposit into the collection load box. A pump recirculates melted snow water through a pair of parallel conduit pipes, which pipes are adjacent to the plurality of heat sources. As a result the recirculated water is reheated and the resulting warm water is discharged upon the front end shovel to commence the melting of the incoming, shovelled snow.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for language teaching is provided, which includes use of a microphone for receiving a statement by a person in the language sought to be learned. A first signal is created, and the first signal is subjected to a first processing step to create a second signal. The second signal contains the first signal in a modified form, in a predetermined manner according to the envelope curve derived from selected pass bands of the language sought to be learned. The first signal is subjected to a second processing step to create a third signal which contains the first signal modified according to the harmonic content of the statement and according to the characteristics of the language. Finally, either the second or third signal is sent to the person, depending upon whether the amplitude of the first signal is above or below a predetermined threshold.

Low grade organic compounds in aqueous solution of tetraalkylammonium hydroxide obtained from a cathode chamber of a first stage electrolytic cell are oxidized and decomposed and are then supplied to an anode chamber of the next stage electrolytic cell, and high purity tetraalkylammonium hydroxide aqueous solution is obtained from the cathode chamber.

Abstract: A beat finder is provided for accurately and repeatably setting a speed control on a turntable, for use by a disk jockey in quickly matching the beat of successive music selections using two turntables and a technique for matching the start of each beat, in a "no-pressure" environment, in as much time as required to accurately match the speed of the switchover. The position of the speed control at a the proper transition speed for a current musical selection as well as for a following musical selection is displayed for each of the corresponding turntables. These numbers are recorded on a "program form" to be used as a reference during the actual "real-time" club or disco performance.

Abstract: A gyrating machine for entertainment game, of a type including a cabinet which contains in its interior the machine proper. The machine is operated by the introduction of an authorized chip, which starts the game. The machine located inside the cabinet includes a vertical gyrating axle, which supports, at different heights, sweeping elements. The sweeping elements are located respectively across from the upper surfaces of corresponding fixed discoidal platforms, supported by lateral columns. Each platform has a smaller diameter than the following lower one, whereby the first upper platform constitutes the surface which receives the chip falling towards the interior of the machine when the game starts.
