Abstract: A device for engagement with a threaded post or stud, including a housing having a generally cylindrical axial bore with a top side and a bottom side for engagement with the stud from either the top or bottom sides. The stud engaging member includes a plurality of flexible tangs and can further include an integrally formed cable tie for securing a bundle of wires to the threaded stud.
Abstract: A portable automatic cable tie installation tool for applying individual cable ties around bundles of wires or the like utilizing a rotary driven rod having a helical groove longitudinally formed along the rod as the cable tie advancing mechanism.

Abstract: An insulated electrical terminal for mating with a flat male tab having an insulated housing sleeve surrounding a metal terminal having a cantilevered locking tongue extending from a supported end of the terminal towards a tab receiving end, and including an upward curved section in the cantilevered tongue to increase the locking strength against pull-out. The electrical terminal further includes an angled forward release lever that cooperates with an angled cam surface formed within the insulated housing to depress the release lever so as to release the male tab from engagement with the cantilevered locking tongue.
Abstract: A fully or partially insulated electrical terminal connector for making a terminal connection to a stripped end of a wire including a dual flared wire crimp barrel and an improved funnel wire entry end.
Abstract: A low thread force two piece cable tie includes a strap, a locking head forming a strap accepting channel, a metal barb positioned within the channel and mounted to the locking head, and a cored out pocket disposed adjacent the metal barb at the entrance to the strap accepting channel. The cored out pocket allows for a slight rotation of the metal barb during insertion of the tip of the strap which enhances the threadability of the cable tie.
Abstract: A communication connector having a plurality of contact pairs for conductive connection to respective communication signal wire pairs is provided with a capacitor label that capacitively couples a first contact of one contact pair to a second contact of a second contact pair to reduce near end cross talk between adjacent contacts. A common conductive lamina disposed closely adjacent to and spaced from more than one of the contacts further improves near end cross talk performance of the communication connector.

Abstract: An integrally formed mount member is provided for mounting a bundle of wires that are secured by a metal cable tie that includes flange portions for retaining the mount to one side of a mounting surface and for providing engagement with a cable tie strap on the opposite side of the mounting surface.
Abstract: A duct fitting for joining a plurality of duct sections of a wiring duct network comprising a fitting base and a fitting cover having corresponding tabs and slots for providing a simple assembly operation for fixing the cover to the base. The fitting base has tabs formed on the marginal edges of its sidewalls which cooperate with slots formed on flanges of the cover. The sidewalls of the base are flexed inwardly and then released to engage the tabs with the slots of the cover.
Abstract: An information marker for conforming display around an elongate object having a longitudinal axis includes a planar information display surface of sufficient flexibility to conform to the shape of the elongate object, a plurality of embossments in the information display surface arranged to display an informational symbol field, wherein longer peripheral edges of each of the embossments are aligned parallel to an embossment alignment direction, and a fastener for securing the marker around the elongate object in a desired display orientation of the informational symbol field such that the embossment alignment direction is substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the elongate object whereby the flexibility of the planar information display surface is not degraded by the embossments.

Abstract: A plastic fastener for securing a bundle of wires to an apertured mounting surface including a buttonhead member, an elongate flexible strap having a plurality of teeth, the strap having a locking head that engages with a buttonhead member. The buttonhead member includes centering pilot sections which protect the tightened strap from sharp edges of the mounting surface.
Abstract: A tension limiting strap tool for tightening a cable tie around a bundle of wires or the like. The strap tool includes a pair of pivotally connected handles, one of the handles having a cam surface that cooperates with a flexible barb member to hold an end of the cable tie strap as the handles are pivoted towards each other. One of the handles also includes at least one abutment surface that pushes away the cable tie head from the held strap end, and thus tightens the cable tie around the bundle.
Abstract: A cable mount for securing a bundle of wires against a mounting surface including a spaced apart pair of legs having retention barbs, and a corresponding harness fixture, which allows for easy application of a single, centered cable tie by an automatic cable tie application tool.
