Abstract: A registry for designating authoritative sourcing of data from a data environment in a computer readable storage medium. Selected data content resides into a first data subject area in the form of a common business language, and metadata including characteristics of data stores in the data environment resides into a second data subject area, which is a metadata repository. Data linking a term in the first data subject area with an authoritative location of data associated with the term, as identified in the second data subject area, resides into a third subject area, which is the registry. A basis of authority of the data location and operating scope of the data may be designated in the third data store. Operating scopes may be functional, geographic, temporal, organizational, or a combination thereof. A computer program product and computer readable memory system for designating authoritative sourcing in a data environment are provided.

Abstract: A hanger for a cable guardrail system is disclosed including a first portion with first and second seats on opposite sides of a post each seat capable of supporting a cable, and a second portion capable of engaging the end of the post. Also disclosed is a cable guardrail system including a plurality of posts, a plurality of hangers attached to at least a portion of the plurality of posts, and at least two cables supported by the seats on opposite sides of the post. The cable guardrail system may redirect an impacting vehicle and dissipate a portion of the impacting vehicle's energy.

Abstract: A method is provided that permits the detection of ‘standby’ state’ in linear and non-linear loads connected to the power grid and their automatic disconnection. The method includes five main stages: a) detecting the normal operating state of at least one load by a detection device, b) obtaining the maximum value of the current in the operating state, c) detecting entry into ‘standby’ mode’ by the load by establishing the ‘standby’ state’ when the current value measured at a specific time in each load is less than a percentage P of the maximum value of the current of each load in normal operating state, d) evaluating the value for each load for a predetermined time T, and e) disconnecting the load and the detection device when value T of time is reached without the load having returned to the normal operating state. A system is also provided.

A monetary account with an entity is established and an account user associated with the monetary account is identified. A sub-account with the entity is established, where the sub-account is associated with the monetary account and includes monetary funds transferred from the monetary account. At least one sub-account user associated with the sub-account is identified, where the at least one sub-account user is different from the account user. One or more controls, placed by the account user, are established on at least one of the sub-account and the at least one sub-account user. The at least one sub-account user is restricted from accessing monetary funds in the monetary account and the account user is permitted to access the sub-account.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to systems, methods, and computer program products for improved electronic discovery. Embodiments herein disclosed provide for an enterprise wide electronic management server that provides for data to be identified, located, retrieved, preserved, searched, reviewed and produced in an efficient and cost-effective manner across the entire enterprise system. In addition, by structuring management of e-discovery based on case/matter, custodian and data and providing for linkage between the same, further efficiencies are realized in terms of identifying, locating and retrieving data and leveraging results of previous e-discoveries with current requests.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to for a card that includes a detachable wireless antenna-based payment device, such as a contactless Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) payment device or the like. The card is configured so as to alleviate or eliminate production problems associated with the adhesive-protecting backing being lifted or otherwise removed during handling of the card by the embossing equipment. In specific embodiments, the detachable wireless communication device is formed vertically along the width of the card, such that the detachment line extends along the width of the card. In such embodiments, by limiting the width of the wireless communication payment device to about one-third of the length of the card, the detachable wireless communication payment device is formed outside of the center region of the card, which is the region handled during the embossing procedure.

Abstract: System and method for facilitating the implementation of changes to the configuration of resources in an enterprise. Embodiments of the present invention facilitate the use of historical information about an enterprise's IT configuration to evaluate the risk and impact of proposed changes. Risk can be evaluated using a success history for an organization within the enterprise that is responsible for the proposed change, or by applying a neural network to the historical data to detect recognizable patterns in the historical data. A risk evaluation can take into account sensitivity of the change to dates assigned on a change calendar, based on sensitivity dates gathered from the historical data. Historical data can be maintained and provided by a configuration database.

Abstract: A method of passivating a CMP composition by dilution and determining the relationship between the extent of dilution and the static etch rate of copper. Such relationship may be used to control the CMP composition during the CMP polish to minimize the occurrence of dishing or other adverse planarization deficiencies in the polished copper, even in the presence of substantial levels of copper ions in the CMP composition and at the copper/CMP composition interface.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a composition and method for semiconductor processing. In one embodiment, a wet-cleaning composition for removal of photoresist is provided. The composition comprises a strong base; an oxidant; and a polar solvent. In another embodiment, a method for removing photoresist is provided. The method comprises the steps of applying a wet-cleaning composition comprising about 0.1 to about 30 weight percent strong base; about one to about 30 weight percent oxidant; about 20 to about 95 weight percent polar solvent; and removing the photoresist.

Abstract: The composite joist floor system includes joists supported by supporting members. Corrugated steel decking is positioned over the joists such that the corrugations are substantially perpendicular to the joists. Self-drilling, self-tapping, stand-off screws are spaced along the length of the joist, aligned with the deck corrugations. These stand-off screws provide the required shear transfer between the joist and concrete slab to form a composite floor system. The placed concrete encapsulates the upper non-threaded shank portions of the stand-off screws and the end of the joists. After the concrete has cured, the resultant system comprised of steel joists, steel decking, stand-off screws, and concrete, act together to form a composite system with greater load carrying capacity and less vertical deflection. The stand-off screws connect the joist upper chords to the concrete slab allowing the joist and concrete slab to act as a unit, by transferring shear between the two joined components.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing an artificial lightweight aggregate containing bottom ash. The method includes the steps of: (a) mixing 100 parts by weight of clay and 10-100 parts by weight of bottom ash to obtain a mixture; (b) extrusion-molding the mixture by using an extruder and cutting the extrusion-molded mixture to form a molded article; (c) drying the molded article by using a rotary drier; and (d) sintering the dried article at 1050-1150° C. for 15-45 minutes to produce the artificial lightweight aggregate. The aggregate produced according to the invention is lightweight, cost-effective, and has uniform water absorption.

Recommendations are determined for the life calendar user based on the user data and may be refined based on bank data. Abstract: The present invention relates to a porous planting medium containing minerals and a method for preparing the same, and more particularly, to a porous planting medium prepared by using bentonite and/or zeolite and minerals for promoting plant growth as raw materials and a method for preparing the same. The porous planting medium containing minerals according to the present invention can provide places where plants can grow due to the pores therein and create the ideal environment for plant growth due to minerals used therein. Also, since it is installed in a building with plant seeds germinated therein, it can provide effects of interior decoration, wood bathing due to anion generation and a pleasant interior environment.

A user connects to any Intelligent Cash Recycler tied into the system in order to remotely access, monitor, communicate, update, trouble-shoot, perform maintenance on, and settle accounts of the remotely located Intelligent Cash Recyclers. Incident reports are created in real-time to indicate when there is an issue with a particular Intelligent Cash Recycler. The system routes the incident reports to the appropriate groups, so that the groups may address the incident reports and resolve the problem. Specifically, a group may, for example, resolve some incidents by making changes to the remotely located cash recycler configuration settings, pushing new files to the recycler, or updating the software or firmware associated with the remotely located cash recycler.
