  • Patent number: 4658922
Abstract: An improved balance of precision. The fulcrum of the balance is integrally formed in a protective housing. The housing is utilized in conjunction with the beam of assembly of the balance to determine when the balance is in equipoise. When the fulcrum and beam assembly are packaged in the housing for transport, the housing stabilizes the beam assembly to minimize the likelihood of damage to the beam assembly during transport of the balance.

  • Patent number: 4644136
Abstract: A towel warming apparatus contacts all of the outer exposed surfaces of a folded towel with a continuous flow of warm air and can be readily installed in the wall of a bathroom to warm a towel with heat drawn from hot water flowing through a conduit to a faucet. The warm air flows between inner and outer walls and passes through perforations in all the inner walls to contact the towel on all exposed surfaces.

  • Patent number: 4641869
Abstract: An improved door brace. The brace includes an elongate canted arm having an upper end which interlocks with a door and a lower end contacting the floor at a point spaced away from the door. The upper end of the canted brace arm is shaped and dimensioned such that when forced entry is attempted the door is compressed into interlocking engagement with the upper end of the arm. The interlocking engagement of the upper end and the door enables the brace to more effectively resist shear forces which tend to separate the upper end of the brace arm from the door during an attempted forced entry.

  • Patent number: 4637755
Abstract: Apparatus for simultaneously burying multiple strands of tubing in a plowed field. The plowed field includes spaced, elongate, generally parallel upstanding beds. A furrow lies in between each adjacent pair of beds. The apparatus buries tubing in the beds. The conduit has an oblong cross sectional area. The apparatus is designed to prevent the tubing from twisting while being buried in the beds.
