Abstract: A fluid-containing brush has a housing (11) with a generally cylindrical wall closed at one end by a base carrying brush bristles (25) and at the other by a cap (50) formed of resilient material, the housing defining a fluid reservoir, the base having a central opening therein closed by a valve member for dispensing liquid to the brush bristles, and a valve stem (31) which extends up to an underside of the cap (50) the housing and cap being adapted to provide a fluid tight seal therebetween, and the cap having a deformable portion constituting a button (58) by which the user can actuate the valve to dispense cleaning fluid.
Abstract: An apparatus for electroplating at least one substrate is disclosed as including a trough, two anodes, at least one bath and two poly-tetrafluoroethylene sheets or a number of substantially rigid polypropylene plates, in which the trough supports the substrate and is in an electrically conductive relationship therewith, and the bath contains the anodes, the trough and an electrolyte, in which, in operation, an electric field exists in the electrolyte between the trough and the anodes, and in which the poly-tetrafluoroethylene sheets or the polypropylene plates are movable to vary the amount of electric current passing between the trough and the anodes.

Abstract: A cleanser product which will not stain surfaces is disclosed. Specifically, the present invention provides a cleanser comprising a photosensitive dye. The present invention also provides a method for preventing the of staining of surfaces by cleanser products.
Abstract: A skin cleansing composition suitable for removing ink and other stains from the hands and arms of a user includes an effective amount of a low molecular weight alcohol having from one to twelve carbon atoms and an effective amount of a peroxide releasing agent, e.g., a percarbonate salt, preferably sodium percarbonate, such that together, the alcohol and percarbonate salt provide a synergistic reaction that effectively removes ink from the skin of the user. Other additives such as fillers, abrasives, and detergents may be employed to provide further cleansing action.
Abstract: A pump for dispensing fluid from a dispenser includes a base in fluid communication with a source of fluid carried by the dispenser and with the atmosphere. The pump includes a base attachable to the source of fluid, a flexible transparent dome attachable to the base in overlying relationship therewith and in fluid-tight relationship, and a retainer attachable to the base in partial overlying relationship with the dome to retain the dome on the base. The pump also includes valves for selectively opening and closing the pump to fluid communication with the source of fluid and the ambient atmosphere.

Abstract: A post-cure inflator for tires includes a driven shaft for mounting at least one tire chuck for receiving the tire bead and at least one spindle for mounting a tire chuck and being disposed in opposed relationship with the driven shaft. The at least one spindle is movable toward and away from the driven shaft. A tire support shaft is also provided to receive a tire and elevate it into registry to permit mounting of the tire on the chucks. The driven shaft can be provided with opposed ends carrying the chucks and a spindle and chuck may be positioned opposite both ends. The method includes mounting the tire on a rotatable spindle which is disposed in a horizontal plane so that the tire is disposed in a vertical plane, inflating the tire and rotating it in the post-curing operation.
Abstract: A dross pot and sow mould combination for use with a dross press, the combination being suitable for melting furnaces with low sills. The sow mould is connected to the dross pot by a variable length connection which allows the height of the combination to be low when the combination is positioned by the furnace, but larger when the combination is positioned in the dross press.
Abstract: A blank of foldable material capable of being assembled into a carton having a contoured top front surface and the carton formed thereby is disclosed. The carton is intended to be utilized in a dispenser having a back plate and a front cover with the front cover being hingedly attached to the back plate so as to be moveable between open and closed positions and, in the closed position, to contain the components such as the carton. The particular type of dispenser for which the carton is design is one in which the top portion of the cover tapers adjacent its top end toward the back plate when closed. The blank includes a generally rectangular blank of material having top, bottom and first and second opposed side edges with three fold lines spaced inwardly from and parallel to the edges so as to form there between front and rear side walls and first and second side walls.
