Abstract: This invention relates to a dual composition bar and extrusion nozzle therefore. The bar is formed of two different materials, preferably of separate colors, and has substantially sinusoidal upper and lower surfaces with a tongue and groove interlock therebetween. The extrusion nozzle utilizes two dies, the first of which has two die portions separated by a die element for forming a tongue and groove interlock between the two materials. The die element does not extend to the second die wherein the convoluted die portions squeeze the two materials together enhancing the interlock.
Abstract: A collapsible container having substantially planar front and rear walls and interconnecting side walls that define inwardly extending V-shaped panels. A plurality of transversely extending stiffening grooves are provided in the front and rear panels to minimize outward bulging of the front and rear panels when the bottle is filled with a liquid material. A plurality of bridging members is formed in the side panels to bridge the adjacent side panels at a longitudinal fold line to minimize outward bulging of the side wall when the container is filled with liquid. To collapse the container the front and rear panels are urged together, and the side panels move inwardly about the longitudinal hinge line so that the bottle assumes a flat condition. The flattened bottle occupies considerably less space in waste disposal facilities.
Abstract: A method of making a post foaming gel comprising the following steps: A gel base is cycled between first and second cylinders and a heat exchanger. A foaming agent is introduced to the cycled gel base through the heat exchanger while the gel base is being cycled.
