The pour spout includes hooks for preventing it from being pulled too far out of the carton, recesses for maintaining the pour spout in an open position, and tabs for preventing the pour spout from being pushed too far into the carton.
Abstract: The combination of a pair of paperboard carton members positioned in a paperboard tray member, wherein the carton members have projections extending from the bottom wall thereof through related openings in adjacent walls of the tray member, and wherein at least one of the members includes means for temporarily holding the carton closure flaps in a generally vertical open position against the carton end wall panels while the cartons are being filled on a packaging line.
Abstract: A carrier carton formed from a composite blank of paperboard and paper. The carton is designed like a seal end carton with identical halves foldably joined to each other and secured to each other in back-to-back relation to provide a reinforced, four-ply handle construction. Transverse partitions include panels foldably joined to a center wall and attached to partition elements foldable joined to the side walls. The carton also has a solid bottom wall construction including bottom closure flaps foldably joined to each of the carton walls and adhesively secured to each other in overlapped relation.
Abstract: A collapsible display stand having an article retaining member, including a plurality of vertical panels forming a generally U-shaped structure with an enclosure open at the front, and an article supporting base member, attached to the retaining member in the enclosure and including a plurality of inner support panels. The base member is adapted to move automatically from a collapsed condition to an erected condition when the retaining member is opened.
Abstract: A paperboard dispensing carton including an outer shell with a reclosable dispensing opening extending therethrough covered by a sift resistant opening flap and an inner liner with a pour spout formed therein and extendable through the dispensing opening.
Abstract: A one piece, paperboard, dispensing carton having a dispensing opening in a side wall panel thereof, the major portion of which is covered by a cover panel foldably and partially detachably joined to the side wall panel, and also having a pour spout, secured to the cover panel and joined to a side edge of a glue flap panel by a two-piece connecting member that includes a pair of upper and lower connecting elements, one of which is adapted to cover a remaining portion of the dispensing opening.
Abstract: A composite lid for a container, which lid has a molded plastic rim that includes an outer vertically extending skirt connected to a radially inwardly spaced, inner, vertically extending flange with at least one weakened hinge area located therebetween, and a paperboard panel having a marginal area attached to a surface of the rim inner flange by insert injection molding.
