Abstract: A reusable dunnage bag is provided for placement between or among boxes or packages of diverse products packed or stored for shipment in trailers or containers so as to cushion and protect the products from damage in being transported from one location to another. The bag includes a self closing valve operable to open so as to permit entry of pressurized medium into the bag, but automatically closes when fully inflated. A gun-like device having dual nozzles is provided for opening the self closing valve for rapid admission of gaseous medium into the bag and for opening the valve to quickly expel the medium therefrom. A discernible difference in noise frequency signals an operator to remove the connection between the gun and the self closing valve when inflation of the bag is complete.
Abstract: A feeder dish for use in raising small pigs operable to be secured in place on a perforated creep floor of a farrowing pen and resistant to movement by the feeding piglets. The feeder includes a pan for holding feed surrounded by an integral platform on which the piglets stand. Pegs extend downwardly below the pan for insertion into slots or openings in the floor of the pen and maintain the feeder in a preselected position so as to prevent the dish from sliding or tipping over.
Abstract: An improved heat sink apparatus that utilizes either natural or forced convection to transfer heat generated by a high temperature medium to a lower temperature medium or converts cold energy from a low temperature fluid or solid medium to a different or higher temperature stage or condition of energy. The apparatus includes a thermally conductive base plate, a plurality of thick corrugated finned assembly components constructed and arranged in abutting relationship and offset from each other so as to cause a circuitous path of fluid flow therethrough. The apparatus also may include the base plate and a plurality of thick, sawtooth shaped, or segmented fins mounted thereon. The length of fluid travel from one finned component to an abutting finned component along the heat transfer surface is controlled in order to prevent development of thermal boundary layer on the inner surface of the finned assembly components.

A side fitting connection device is secured to four predetermined locations on external upper side locations of a trailer or a container. Each side latch assembly includes a complementary shaped member adaptable to engage with and be secured to each side fitting device. The side fitting devices and side latch assemblies, when connected and engaged together, permit top side lifting of trailers and containers for intermodal movement thereof. The external upper side locations of the side fitting device permit full, complete and more profitable usage of the internal space of volume of truck trailers or cargo containers.

Abstract: An improved apparatus for dispensing cooled, heated or ambient temperature liquids from a liquid tank which contains therein a cold sink member for maintaining the liquid at a preselected temperature. The cold sink member may be formed in the shape of a cup-like finned member or a tree-like shaped member having outwardly extending fingers in order to greatly increase the transfer of heat energy within the liquid tank and to reduce the thickness of boundary layer formation in the cold sink member. The apparatus includes adapter means operable to supply separately controlled, selective dispensing of any of the chilled, heated, or ambient temperature liquids.

Abstract: A toy vehicle using a rubber band drive operates in conjunction with a guide line that is associated with the vehicle. The vehicle includes a plurality of guides through which the guide line is threaded. The guide line is suspended between anchor stakes and includes a splayed end portion at a terminus of the guide line. An obstruction on the guide line will interface with a ring on the vehicle. When the ring becomes fouled by the obstruction it will cause the deployment of a parachute from the vehicle.
