  • Patent number: 8347905
Abstract: A faucet of the single handle mixing valve type. The faucet includes a housing having a domed housing cap enclosing a valve cartridge having an actuating stem movable along a vertical flow-control axis for varying water flow rate, and movable along a horizontal temperature-control axis for varying the temperature. A handle is connected to the actuating stem. A recess extends vertically along the outer surface of the domed housing cap. A releasable stop member is adapted to engage the recess when the handle is moved along the vertical flow-control axis in its cold water only position, and adapted: to release engagement upon application of a horizontal force. A ramp is located along the lower periphery of the domed housing cap outside of the cold water only position and is adapted to prevent the handle from being lowered into a full off position except when in the cold water only position.

  • Patent number: 8261457
Abstract: A CNC lathe jaw alignment system in which the position of the work holding edge of a chuck jaw is accurately located with respect to a work holding tool block mounted on a CNC lathe turret. A laser alignment tool is provided which includes a housing containing a light emitting laser module powered by a battery and an on/off switch. This laser module is used to project a laser beam onto the mounting face of a CNC lathe chuck to form a red target dot at the diameter of the workpiece. The laser alignment tool allows the lathe operator to visually see the workpiece diameter on the chuck as a red target dot generated by the laser module. This red target dot allows the operator to substantially expedite the process of accurately attaching jaws to a CNC lathe chuck in preparation for machining processes.

  • Patent number: 7861463
Abstract: A sliding door grab bar opener for opening and closing a sliding door. The opener includes outside and inside tube members, each having first and second ends. The inside tube member is positioned within the outside tube member and is adapted to slide from a fully retracted configuration with the first end of the inside tube member being located adjacent the first end of the outside tube member to a fully extended configuration with the first end of the inside tube member being located adjacent the second end of the outside tube member. First and second end stanchion members are attached to the outside and inside tube members adjacent their first and second ends, respectively. A middle stanchion member is attached to the outside tube member adjacent its second end. The stanchion members are adapted to be attached to the frames of the sliding door panels by fastener means.

  • Patent number: 7837573
Abstract: A golf putting training device including a circular target having a substantially flat body having substantially parallel upper and lower surfaces. A bumper formed of rubber or an elastomeric polymer is attached to or integral with the peripheral edge of the target. The upper surface of the target has a plurality of substantially equally spaced-apart primary lines extending from the center to the peripheral edge to form a lane between each adjacent pair of primary lines. The width of each lane is substantially the width of a regulation hole. The circular target can be divided into partially circular targets having a 90 degree, 180 degree, or 270 degree circumference.

  • Patent number: 7798499
Abstract: A wheel assembly for use on wheeled luggage usable as a seat A seat cushion is located on the upper end of the luggage. The wheel assembly includes a wheel housing having a brake shoe located within the housing. A wheel carriage is positioned within the housing. The wheel carriage rotatably supports a wheel having a rolling surface. In response to a traveler sitting on the seat cushion, the wheel carriage has means adapted to allow the wheel to move from a first position where the rolling surface of the wheel is not in contact with the brake shoe to a second position where the rolling surface of the wheel is in braking contact with the brake shoe, and to cause the wheel to move from the second position to the first position upon the traveler arising.

The apparatus includes a chassis having outer and inner wheels adapted to allow the chassis to traverse along a horizontal path of motion. A mandrel support beam is attached to the chassis adjacent its inner end, the outer end extending beyond the chassis with its longitudinal axis being substantially perpendicular to the horizontal path of motion of the chassis. A mandrel is rotatably attached to the chassis, the outer end of the mandrel being rotatably supported by the mandrel support beam. At least one of the inner wheels of the chassis is in contact with the mandrel adjacent its inner end in a manner adapted to cause the mandrel to rotate upon rotation of the wheel. Pockets located along the mandrel allow the sheet to be releasably attached for winding up onto the mandrel.
