Abstract: An improved solder removal device having means for automatically recocking the device after each use. A piston is slidably movable within a barrel and normally urged upward by a spring. The piston shaft projects upwardly from the piston and has a toothed area extending along one side which is engaged to a movable gear. The movable gear is mounted on a gear shaft which rotates in a bearing mounted to the shaft of a solenoid. A motor is mounted within the barrel and is operable, through suitable gearing to rotate the movable gear, thereby moving the piston shaft. The piston shaft also carries a pair of studs actuated by a trigger slide engageable with an arm of a switch to control actuation of the solenoid and motor. Upward movement of the piston creates a vacuum at the nozzle which removes excess molten solder. Electricity can be supplied from either a line source or a battery.

Abstract: An evaporation system and process including an enclosed housing containing a plurality of shallow trays stacked vertically, one above another above a bottom-most heated reservoir with each tray serving as an evaporator and with the bottom of each tray serving as a condenser for the next lower tray and with the bottom of each tray sloping from the center outward to an outer collection trough and having a controlled supply of heat and feed liquid providing a substantially continuous supply of a regulated amount of feed liquid, with water being the primary example.
Abstract: An improved bedding anchor comprising a first member having a generally T-shaped slot formed therein to receive a portion of the edge of a sheet, a cylindrical retaining member, an anchor member engageable with a fixed portion of the bed, and elastic means securing said first member to said anchor member.
Abstract: Illuminating means for balloons comprising a lightweight plastic cone insertable into the orifice of the balloon so as to prevent escape of gas from within the balloon and to prevent damage to illuminating means located within said cone, an electric light means mounted within said cone, said cone and light bulb being light enough to be lifted by a conventional lighter-than-air gas-filled elastic balloon, and means for supplying electrical energy to said light means.
Abstract: A molded polypropylene foam tire core suitable for all types of wheels. The core may be inserted, in one or more sections, into a pneumatic-type tire casing and mounted on a wheel rim to provide puncture-proof and rupture-proof internal support for said tire casing.
Abstract: An improved golf shoe cleat cover formed with at least one groove located on the underside of the cover and having a plurality of cleat gripping members slideably positionable within the groove to conform to the pattern and spacing of the cleats on a golf shoe to which the cover is to be attached and to releasably grip these cleats.
Abstract: A cap for frictional retention on an existing dental flossing tool to enhance protection of the dental flossing material when the tool is not in use and which can be removed, when desired, and which includes means for retaining one end of a strand of dental flossing material to enable the cap to function as an auxiliary handle for cooperation with the dental flossing tool to permit the flossing operation to be performed without having the user's hands contacting the flossing material.
Abstract: Photographic cameras having a plurality of film holders, each carrying a respective type of film, exposable through a common lens and shutter system and having control means for selectively exposing the film carried by the respective film holders either simultaneously or individually, as desired.
Abstract: Improved mailbox signalling means comprising a mailbox having a door, a drive arm mounted for movement with the door upon opening and closing of the door, a toothed member mounted for rotation upon engagement by the drive arm, and indicia positionable upon rotation of the toothed wheel to indicate that the wheel has been rotated.
Abstract: A putting practice device (10) that may be used indoors or outdoors to improve a golfers putting. The device (10) consists of a putting surface (14) having therein a golf cup (16), a first golf ball (20) pivotally mounted adjacent one edge of the cup, a lever (30) coupled to the first golf ball (20) to facilitate movement of the first golf ball out of the cup (16), a second golf ball (40) positioned adjacent the opposite edge of the cup (16) from the first golf ball (20), and indicia showing desired movement of a golf club during a proper putting stroke. When the first ball (20) is struck, it pivotally falls into the cup (16) and the "follow through" will then strike the second ball (40). If the "follow through" is correct the second ball will continue in a straight path; if not, the ball (40) will go to one side or the other indicating a correctable problem.
