Abstract: An improved solder removal device having means for automatically recocking the device after each use. A piston is slidably movable within a barrel and normally urged upward by a spring. The piston shaft projects upwardly from the piston and has a toothed area extending along one side which is engaged to a movable gear. The movable gear is mounted on a gear shaft which rotates in a bearing mounted to the shaft of a solenoid. A motor is mounted within the barrel and is operable, through suitable gearing to rotate the movable gear, thereby moving the piston shaft. The piston shaft also carries a pair of studs actuated by a trigger slide engageable with an arm of a switch to control actuation of the solenoid and motor. Upward movement of the piston creates a vacuum at the nozzle which removes excess molten solder. Electricity can be supplied from either a line source or a battery.

Abstract: An improved transmission system for electrical energy comprising a plurality of ball members interspersed by mating members enclosed within at least one protective outer wrapping, with the ball members and the mating members being in contact with adjacent members and being formed of material which is electrically conductive at superconductor temperatures and each having an axial opening extending therethrough to permits passage of a suitable coolant fluid, such as liquid helium.

Abstract: An improved face treatment mask having a quantity of a thermal storage substance enclosed within outer layers of material for containing the thermal storage material and having means for releasably securing the face treatment mask in a desired position covering a desired portion of the patient's face. The face treatment mask of the present invention is formed with a plurality of sections, each conforming to a particular portion of the patient's face and selectably removable to permit treatment of only desired portions of the patient's face.

Abstract: An improved patient leg support and bedding support frame which serves to elevate the sheets and blankets to prevent their interfering with the patient's leg movements, a leg support member formed of resilient material insertable between a patient's legs to assure maintenance of desired spacing of the legs and pivotally attachable to the frame to enable the patient to turn his legs and body without additional assistance.

Abstract: An improved pet exercising device comprising a toy suspended from a motorized arm having an electronic control capable of actuating the device at predetermined or random intervals and for varying the speed and direction of movement of the toy to provide movements which are more attractive to pets and which are not apparently repetitive and, hence, are more challenging and interesting to the pet, especially to cats.

The device (10) consists of a putting surface (14) having therein a golf cup (16), a first golf ball (20) pivotally mounted adjacent one edge of the cup, a lever (30) coupled to the first golf ball (20) to facilitate movement of the first golf ball out of the cup (16), a second golf ball (40) positioned adjacent the opposite edge of the cup (16) from the first golf ball (20), and indicia showing desired movement of a golf club during a proper putting stroke. When the first ball (20) is struck, it pivotally falls into the cup (16) and the "follow through" will then strike the second ball (40). If the "follow through" is correct the second ball will continue in a straight path; if not, the ball (40) will go to one side or the other indicating a correctable problem.
