Abstract: A new immunodiffusion test method for determining the presence of bovine leukemia viral infection in cattle.The method relies upon the formation of a precipitin line resulting from the reaction of glycoprotein antigen with an antibody. The reaction is conducted in a liquid gel medium. By comparing the precipitin line of this test against a standard the presence of bovine leukemia infection can be diagnosed.Also covered is the immunological composition comprising said antigen and said liquid gel media.
