    Abstract: A toilet deodorizer having a hollow housing, containing a motor-driven fan and a filter medium, mounted within the normal flush tank air chamber. The housing divides the air chamber into an intake receptacle, inside the housing, and an exhaust receptacle, outside the housing. The intake receptacle is open to the overflow conduit through an inlet aperture, and is open to the exhaust receptacle through an outlet aperture. The fan induces air from the closet bowl through the overflow conduit, and thence through the filter into the exhaust chamber, thereby deodorizing the closet bowl.

    Abstract: A process for making hollow metal microballoons from alloys which include a base material capable of absorbing a gas when molten and then subsequently desorbing said gas during solidification and one or more glass formers. The alloy is melted and atomized in an inert atmosphere to form a clean, dense, unoxidized powder which is screened and then subjected to a reactive plasma, melting the particles and generating a gas which is absorbed in and inflates the particles. The gas desorbs from the microballoons as they solidify; and impervious, glassy films form on their surfaces.

    Abstract: An applicator device comprises two casing parts pivotally connected for movement between a longitudinally aligned closed position and a folded open position, one of said casing parts providing a tape supply chamber and the other providing a chamber for receiving and accumulating the tape after use. A flexible member anchored on the one casing part extends between the casing parts for forming a backing for the exposed material when the casing parts are relatively pivoted to said open position, and the flexible member at the same time acts to advance material out of the supply chamber and toward the other casing part. Unidirectional pawls in the other casing part are effective when the casing parts are relatively pivoted to closed position for preventing retraction of the tape.

    Abstract: A stamping press, as for stamping molded articles out of a plastic web wherein the articles are premolded, has a fixed stamping tool section accurately secured on the press frame and a movable tool section slidably mounted on fixed columns on the fixed tool section and connected by operating linkage to power driven devices on the frame, the linkage including adjustments for tool alignment, stroke and frequency. Push rods in the linkage transmit movement to the movable tool section from cam controlled rocker arms, and the push rods are removably hinged to the movable tool section to disconnect and remove the latter. Secondary devices such as ejectors and further tools are actuated in synchronism with the stamping tool.
