Abstract: A bracket for use in retrofitting building panels to a structure is provided with forward, rearward and top walls which define a channel therebetween. The channel is sized and shaped to substantially enclose existing fasteners on the structure to substantially prevent lateral movement of the bracket along the existing building panels. The lower end portion of the bracket is shaped to marry the profile of the existing building panels. A single series of fasteners secure the new building panel to the bracket, the existing building panel and preferably the frame of the structure.

Abstract: An air spring and shock absorber unit for use in vehicle suspension systems or cab suspension systems comprising a shock absorber mounted within an air spring. The lower end of the air spring bellows is attached to the air spring piston in such a manner which enables the lower end of the bellows to be disconnected from the air spring piston without damaging the crimp ring which connects the bellows to the piston.

Abstract: A multi-purpose golfing tool is provided with an elongated body having an arm that extends angularly from one end of the body to releasably engage the rearward portion of a golf cart seat. The opposite end is provided with a feature for engaging the steering wheel, enabling a user to tilt the seat forward and prop the seat in an open position. Projections on the arm member are provided to clean debris from the sole of a golf shoe. A flexible blade is provided along a length of the body for removing fluid and debris from surfaces of the golf cart. The tool conveniently secures to the steering column for storage.

Abstract: A squirrel repelling hanger for a bird feeder which utilizes a load cell which senses the weight of a squirrel thereon and which energizes a motor to rotate a repelling disk located at the upper end of the hanger without rotating the bird feeder which is supported from the lower end of the hanger.

Abstract: A storage device is provided for storing a vehicle hardtop in a generally upright position. Rearward and forward support members extend upwardly from a base to position the vehicle hardtop with its rearward portion safely facing in an upward direction. The cavity of the hardtop is oriented to permit the storage of a plurality of miscellaneous objects on the base and within the cavity area of the hardtop. Non-abrasive material is provided along the device to prevent damage to the hardtop. Optional wheels are provided to mobilize the storage device.

Abstract: The adjustable angle clamp of the present invention is provided with opposing arm members that are pivotably coupled to one another. Jaw members are independently advanced or withdrawn along the lengths of the arm members to provide clamping pressure at a joint formed between opposing objects disposed between the jaws. An angle adjustment screw is coupled to the arm members to incrementally adjust the angular relationship of the arm members with respect to one another and secure the clamp at selected angle settings.

Abstract: A multi-position track width sensor for agricultural sprayers wherein a piston rod position sensor is connected to each of the adjustable axle members of the front and rear axle assemblies of the sprayer. A display panel is mounted in the cab of the sprayer and includes LEDs which indicate various positions of the piston rods with respect to the respective cylinder.

Abstract: A sighting system is integrated with video gathering and recording capabilities. A video camera unit may be coupled in front of or behind a weapon's sights. In another embodiment, the weapon's sights are electronically generated by the video camera. Where a zoom lens is provided, software automatically adjusts the electronically generated sights based on any optical changes. A separate or integrated memory unit may also be provided. A range finder may be provided to supply range-to-target data.

Abstract: An electrical outlet plug strip comprising an elongated horizontally disposed housing having a horizontally disposed upper wall member, a vertically disposed inner wall member, a horizontally disposed bottom wall member, and an angularly disposed outer wall member which extends between the outer end of the upper wall member and the outer end of the bottom wall member. The outer wall member extends downwardly and inwardly from its upper end to its lower end and has a plurality of horizontally spaced-apart electrical outlets positioned in the angularly disposed outer wall member. The angularly disposed outer wall member may also have a low voltage receptacle provided therein which enables low voltage lights to be powered thereby.

Abstract: An illuminated rain gauge comprising an elongated, transparent collection vessel or tube having upper and lower ends with the lower end thereof being closed by a plug and which has a funnel-shaped collector at the upper end thereof. A support is positioned within the funnel-shaped collector and has a solar collector or panel mounted thereon. A light source such as an LED is positioned on the underside of the support and is powered by the solar panel. The LED directs light into the collection vessel so that the rainfall amounts may be determined during periods of darkness. The illuminated rain gauge may take many forms and/or shapes. In one embodiment, the light source is battery powered. In another embodiment, the light source is battery powered and wireless controlled.

Abstract: A dual mode A-frame outrigger for a boom truck or the like is provided wherein the outrigger may be operated in conventional fashion or which may be pinned to the side of the boom truck or the like so that the outrigger assembly may be used to stabilize or level the boom truck without being swung outwardly from the side of the vehicle as in typical A-frame outrigger assemblies.

Abstract: A stand-up operator's platform for a truck-mounted aerial device wherein a turret is supported for rotation on the frame of the truck about a vertical axis. The stand-up operator's platform of this invention is secured to one side of the turret for rotation therewith which enables the operator, when standing on the platform of the stand-up operator's platform, to observe the operations of the aerial device regardless of the rotatable position of the turret thereof.

Abstract: A collector ring comprising a non-electrically conductive, non-rotatable slip ring base having a plurality of slip rings mounted thereon with the slip rings decreasing in diameter from the lower end of the base to the upper end of the base. Electrical wires are secured to the slip rings and extend therefrom for connection to a source of power. A slip ring brush holder is rotatably secured to the slip ring base and has a plurality of brush holders mounted thereon which engage the slip rings on the base. Electrical wires extend from the brushes outwardly from the brush holder.

Abstract: A collapsible feeder for birds comprising a mesh feeder body wall which is constructed of either a polyester mesh coated with PVC or a material containing rubber. The mesh wall defines alternating first and second rows with each of the rows having spaced-apart wall members which are separated by an opening. The first and second rows are staggered with respect to one another so that the openings in one row are positioned below or above the wall members in adjacent rows to define feed openings. Preferably, the feeder body is generally tubular-shaped but may have other shapes such as frusto-conical or inverted frusto-conical shapes.
