Abstract: An electronic fishing information recording and storage device is disclosed. The device attaches to a traditional fishing rod and reel assembly and automatically records the number of casts executed with the subject rod and reel. For each fish caught, the device is capable of recording relevant information about the type of fish and weather conditions at the time of catch. Means are provided for transfer of fishing information to a traditional personal computer. The device provides a method for tournament fishing wherein the allotted time for each contestant to fish can be replaced by the number of casts allotted.

Abstract: A mini-modular manufacturing environmental chamber for processing and transporting semiconductor devices is disclosed. The cylindrical chamber is provided with a conveyer assembly that transports items within the chamber and divides the interior into two sections. Also included within the chamber are a power and control bus for process equipment located therein and a mounting assembly for securing the process equipment. Multiple environmental chambers can be connected by interconnect units and the chambers can be arranged in rows and columns to produce an array of manufacturing chambers useful for various semiconductor and microelectronic machine manufacture (MEMS) processing steps.

Abstract: A tool for crimping a flanged vehicle door panel onto a door frame includes a pneumatic power unit that attaches to a crimping head unit. The head unit includes a rectangular housing with a circular aperture for attachment of a crimping head member. The rectangular housing also has an attached anvil portion that includes a central channel for holding a nylon pad. The crimping head member mounts above the anvil and nylon pad with a small amount of clearance there between. The head member has a leading edge that curves upwardly away from the nylon pad. In operation, the flanged door panel is positioned so the flange extends upwardly from the frame. The user moves the tool along the edge of the door frame with the crimping head member moving in a limited arc to incrementally crimp the flange tightly against the frame supported on the nylon pad as the tool moves along the edge of the work piece.

Abstract: The invention is an adjustable container holder assembly that attaches to the sidewall of a pickup box above the fender well, for holding one or more liquid containers. The adjustable container holder assembly is best suited for square jugs with the opening and handle on the top, where such jugs are fabricated from plastic. The container holder assembly holds the containers above the bed of the box in an area that is of limited use due to obstruction by the fender wells. The placement of the container holder assembly adjacent to the sidewall provides easy access to the containers from outside the pickup box. The rack also protects the containers from damage by other implements that are often transported in the box bed of the pickup truck.

Abstract: A musical effect box pedal assembly includes a first pedal means adapted for operating a first musical effect box switch and a second pedal means adapted for operating a second musical effect box switch. A third pedal means, operatively connected to the first and second pedal means, allows independent operation of the first and second pedal means operating the associated first and second musical effect box switches. The third pedal means also simultaneously operates the first and second pedal means, thereby providing simultaneous operation of the associated first and second musical effect box switches.

Abstract: An evergreen bough roping machine is disclosed. The device includes a spool support member for rotatably holding a spool of wrapping wire used to fasten boughs to a core wire thereby producing an evergreen garland. The separation of the spool of wrapping wire from a rotating planar disk member, which feeds the wrapping wire to encircle the boughs and core wire, allows for longer production runs before replenishment of the wrapping wire spool.

Abstract: The invention is a sunscreen protector for motorcycles that covers the seat and fuel tank area to protect these components from the deteriorating effects of sunlight. The protector shade includes a rectangular sheet of tightly woven nylon/lycra elastomeric material sized to cover only the motorcycle seat and fuel tank. Four elastic strap members and a plurality of hook loop members with attached, coated J-hook members are employed for attachment to selected attachment points on the motorcycle.

Abstract: A receiver bracket for mounting to a square or rectangular bumper of a recreational or similar vehicle. The receiver bracket is designed to accept various racks or other accessories of limited weight, with a maximum of about 200 pounds. The receiver bracket is highly symmetrical, allowing mounting of the square tube either below or above the supporting bumper in a horizontal orientation. Alternatively, the receiving bracket can be mounted to the bumper with the square tubing in a vertical orientation.

Abstract: An intravenous administration lines fastening and identification device includes a hollow cylindrical fastening member of resilient, flexible material. The cylindrical member has a full length longitudinal slit aperture. A plurality of tube holding members of resilient, flexible material, each with a cylindrical bore, are secured to the outer surface of the hollow cylindrical fastening member opposite the fastening member longitudinal slit aperture. Each tube holding member bore axis is oriented perpendicular to the fastening member longitudinal cylindrical axis. The tube holding members each have a full length slit aperture opposite the fastening member, with the slit aperture accessing the holding member cylindrical bore. An identification marking surface is present on the cylindrical member outer surface in register with and adjacent each tube holding member for identification of the IV tubing contents.

Abstract: A device for storing and displaying baseball caps having a bill or brim including a hollow cylindrical member of selected length and of selected internal diameter, with an internal and an external surface, and having first and second open ends. The cylindrical member is fabricated from translucent polymeric resin with a compressible clip member secured to the cylindrical member external surface at the midpoint for mounting the hollow cylindrical member to a support member. The support member is generally rectangular and hollow with an aperture for accepting the compressible clip member secured to the cylindrical member external surface. This structure allows the compressible clip member and attached hollow cylindrical member to be fastened in several orientations relative to the support member. The hollow cylindrical member may be sized to accommodate the brim of a brimmed cap at each end for increased capacity.

Abstract: A collection of playing pieces for a vocabulary word game is disclosed. The pieces contain on one face a multi-letter combination of at least two letters plus a designator indicating required location of the letter combination in words. During a playing interval one playing piece is displayed to all players. Each player writes a list of words containing the selected letter combination at the designated location in the words. After a predetermined time limit the players reveal their list to all. The winner of the playing interval is the player with the greatest number of words on their list. The game continues for a chosen number of intervals, the game winner being the player winning the greatest number of individual playing intervals.

Abstract: A wall mounted device for recovering oil or other fluids from at least one open mouthed container in its inverted position comprising a funnel with one or more inlets at its upper portion for retaining the neck of a container, and an outlet port at its lower end. The outlet port has a pivoting threaded nozzle for receivably adapting a container so that the device can be mounted in close proximity to a wall and provide the ability to view a sight strip that is commonly used on plastic containers. The upper portion includes closures for the inlet(s) when they are not in use preventing contamination. The device is made of a transparent plastic material allowing constant random inspection of the interior. The upper and lower portions may be easily disconnected for cleaning by releasing a snap from its catch.

Abstract: The invention is an adjustable anchoring tote bag assembly for attachment to a half-height partition in a bus. The assembly includes a bag member fastened to an elongated planar flexible anchoring member having a length sufficient for encircling the partition and producing an overlapping section. A first fastening assembly secures the anchoring member overlapping section together. A second fastening assembly further secures the overlapping section together. A third fastening assembly secures the anchoring member to the partition. A fourth fastening assembly between the bag member open top end and the anchoring member holds the bag member top end closed. The tote bag assembly is used to secure articles in a school bus to prevent injury should a vehicle accident occur.

Abstract: The invention outlined in the disclosure is an adjustable wire brush tool for cleaning either the inside or the outside end of a copper pipe or fitting in preparation for soldering the parts together. The tool includes a hollow cylindrical section with a first wire brush on the interior surface of the section. Attached at one end of the cylindrical section is a slightly smaller cylindrical section sized to hold a second cylindrical twisted steel brush having a hexagonal shaft that extends from the smaller section, opposite the larger cylindrical section. The twisted steel brush and attached shaft can be moved to extend the twisted brush beyond the open end of the larger cylindrical section, for insertion into a fitting to clean the fitting interior surface by attaching a power drill to the shaft and rotating the twisted steel brush attached thereto. To clean the outside of a pipe, the twist brush is retracted into the smaller section and secured to that section with an engaging means.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a connector and an assembly for connecting a computer having an internal hard drive with an external device for fast transmission of signals between devices. The connector provides for coupling two ATA signal transfer lines via two sets of signal transfer receptacles, with each receptacle set contained in a female connector of one signal transfer line. The connector also couples two electrical power lines to provide electrical power from the computer to the external device. A bracket secured to the connector positions the connector in an aperture of the computer case.

Abstract: A device for inscribing a mark on a circumference of a golf ball is disclosed. The device is a rigid hollow cylindrical member of selected internal diameter with internal and external surfaces, and with a closed end and an open end. The open end has an open end surface having a bevel on an edge adjacent the hollow cylindrical member internal surface. The hollow cylindrical member selected internal diameter is sized to accept and support a golf ball with the golf ball circumference positioned adjacent the cylindrical member open end bevel edge. A user supports a golf ball on the hollow cylindrical member open end, and inscribes a visible mark on at least a portion of the golf ball circumference with a marking device. Also disclosed is a method of using the novel device.
