  • Patent number: 4142567
Abstract: Pneumatic vehicle tires having a carcass with a tread strip centrally arranged thereon. The carcass freely spans the wheel rim and is only slightly outwardly curved when in a non-depressed condition. At its rim area the carcass is deflected by means of its arc of curvature towards the tire beads which are reinforced with pull-resistant cores. The carcass has a thickness which continuously decreases from its maximum thickness in the region of the tire bead to a fraction thereof at the edges of the tread strip. The carcass is provided with two fabric plies which are looped around the cores. Decreasing in distance between each other, the two plies extend beneath the tread strips. In the arc of curvature the two plies surround an elastic, deformable, incompressible intermediate layer which has an approximately wedge-shaped cross section.

  • Patent number: 4139038
Abstract: A device for safeguarding screw connections and other rotatable and/or longitudinally movable parts against accidental loosening. The device includes a conical dish or plate spring which by means of the free end face of its inner and/or outer marginal zone rests against a counterthread on the carrier of the part to be safeguarded. The dish spring has a plurality of radially extending tongues, the ends of which, while not forming a thread, are merely so rounded that said tongues during the screwing-in operation will adapt themselves elastically to the thread of the carrier of the part to be safeguarded, and during the flattening of the spring will interwedge in the thread while causing no permanent deformations of the carrier thread.

  • Patent number: 4139063
Abstract: A control for the hydraulic power lift of a tractor, particularly one used in agriculture. The control includes a pre-control slide valve which is adjustable not only by the pick-up or indicator of the working resistance or the position of a working implement but also by a rated or desired value pick-up, by way of a control linkage, to the control positions "lift", "neutral", and "lower". A first spring which urges the pre-control slide valve toward the lifting position, engages the control linkage to transmit the values of the working resistance. The force of this spring is greater than the force of the spring which continuously urges the pre-control slide valve towards the lowering position. The pick-up or indicator for the working resistance of the working implement is linked to the control linkage, against the force of the first spring, by way of a rod having a slotted hole.
