    Abstract: A viewer for gemstones allowing a person to view the light performance of a gemstone having a 360-degree light unit positioned above a base where the stone is placed. The light unit is attached to an adjustable mounting bracket which allows the bracket and light unit to move vertically through use of a control mechanism. The base allows for secure and consistent placement of the gemstone, and positioning of a light control structure, preferably made from a reflective material, over the stone. The position of the stone is under the center of the light unit and light control structure. The light control structure has an aperture to allow the light from the light unit to enter.

    Abstract: A self-propelled lawn mower having a hydrostatic drive system with individual brake control levers coupled to a linkage mechanism which when actuated releases hydraulic pressure in the hydrostatic drive system to slow rotation of rear drive wheels for improved steering and control of the lawn mower. The lawn mower includes a mower deck, a mower deck, and a control console extending between handle bars attached to the rear of the mower deck. The drive system comprises an infinitely variable speed control from forward, neutral, and reverse. Steering is accomplished by two independent wheel brakes, which are controlled by right and left hand brake control levers located adjacent respective handgrip levers. Squeezing one of the brake control levers partially releases the internal hydraulic pressure by the opening of a dump valve to effectively produce a reduced transmission drive condition.

    Abstract: An ergonomic attachment for inline power tools reduces the forces, stresses, and tensions experienced by operators of inline power tools. The ergonomic attachment includes a removable attachment mechanism, which attaches to the base of the inline power tool. The attachment mechanism includes a bracket and a U-shaped member, which extends around the base of the inline power tool and is fastened to the bracket by fasteners to secure the attachment device to the inline power tool. Pivotally attached to the attachment mechanism is a padded ergonomic support member. The ergonomic support member includes an elongated horizontal portion and an inverted U-shaped portion. The attachment is spring loaded with a helical spring connected between the attachment mechanism and the support member. The spring forces the inverted U-shaped portion downwardly against the top of an operator's forearm.

    Abstract: A self-propelled, walk-behind commercial type lawn mower having a frame with a mower deck attached to a front section of the frame, an engine mounted to a rear section of the frame, and a handle bar assembly attached to and extending rearwardly and upwardly from the rear section of the frame. The mower deck includes at least one rotatable wing section pivotally attached to the frame of the mower deck for movement between a substantially horizontal operating position and a substantially vertical non-operating position. The rotatable wing section extends the mowing width of the mower deck and allows mower to travel through narrow passageways of an enclosed mowing area. A locking mechanism secures the wing section in its substantially horizontal operating position and a substantially vertical non-operating position. A rotatable caster wheel attached to the front of the wing section may be retracted to provide maximum clearance when the wing section is in its vertical position.

    Abstract: A digital fluid delivery and aspiration apparatus with a mechanical de-amplifier for the delivery or removal of discrete volumes of fluidic material from a surgical site. The apparatus has a syringe with a plunger designed to be powered by a pneumatic air supply system. A ratcheting mechanism attached to a pneumatic piston by a mechanical linkage causes the plunger of the syringe to inject discrete doses of the fluidic material into the surgical site or remove discrete amounts of fluidic material from the surgical site. The mechanical linkage increases the force provided to the plunger by the movement of the piston and also de-amplifies the movement of the piston into a lesser movement of the plunger.

    Abstract: A two-piece container for preparing and cooking food, such as a roaster oven, includes a main body having a bottom portion with sidewalls extending upwardly therefrom and a separate removable cover for covering the main body of the container. The cover includes a hinge clip having a first portion attached to a rear sidewall of the cover, and a second portion extending outwardly and downwardly from the first portion for insertion into an elongated slotted opening extending through a flange surrounding the periphery of a cookwell pan inserted within the main body of the container. The hinge clip acts as a hinge when opening the cover, and becomes engaged within the slotted opening for supporting the cover in an open position. In alternative embodiments, the cover and cookwell pan may include brackets, or the cookwell pan may include a bracket for mating with an elongated slotted opening in a rear sidewall of the cover for maintaining the cover in an open position on the main body of the container.
